Days Inn Chapel Hill

The hotel was perfect for the night we stayed in. The room had everything we were looking for! I would repeat again here if I had to come back to Chapell Hill.

I'll start by saying I'm not a hotel room snob. However, I do stay at various hotels at different chains about 30-40 nights out of the year. This Days Inn hotel room smelled musty/old (we went out and bought a scented candle to combat this), the room keys only worked half the time due to faulty swiper on the door, but the biggest problem were the beds were not comfortable AT ALL. They were old school spring mattresses that you could feel poking into your back. If you're like me when renting a hotel room you're not in the room a whole lot, but when you are, the level of sleep comfort is important and if that's you as well, DO NOT RENT A ROOM HERE. Only plus was that this place is close to UNC/Franklin Street but go stay at the Sheraton down the street....Much nicer. Not sure why I tried this new place. Not worth the few bucks you'll save.

Clean room, but "breakfast" options were white toast, rotten bananas, cold cereal and coffee (juice machine was broken). Disinterested front desk personnel didn't help.

Stay this hotel is very convient.shopping and eating, close to the UNC,public buses routes, ect.

This is a nice hotel. Check-in was great, but the gentleman at the front desk the next morning when I went to check-out was very rude. I handed him my room keys he said you've paid a travel company and threw the keys on the desk and proceeded to walk away to the back office. I asked about the $5 charge to my credit card for incidentals and he rudely said "It will be refunded." He was so worried about getting to the back office.

The hotel staffs were friendly and accommodating. We slept in on the first day and missed the breakfast cut off, but the ladies there brought the plates and bowls back out from the storage area just for us.

We stayed for one night, booked last minute. The room was immaculate and the staff that we interacted was friendly. It is only a couple minutes away from downtown and was the perfect hotel for a quick one night getaway.

The hotel is well located near campus but far enough away to look for rental properties

Happy that the hotel had basic hygiene supplies, toothbrush and toothpaste. Too bad they didn't have any extra sheets or cots.

I think the review title was stolen from Motel 6, but it applies here. This Days Inn was nice, clean, comfortable and value-priced. No frills, no HDTV (but decent cable selection). Very nicely located next to shopping and restaurants as well as all the various things at UNC and UNC medical facilities. Was only there for 1 night and had an early start the next morning so didn't even eat breakfast. I got what I paid for. Decent room, clean, king bed (although mattress a tad squishy) and cheap ($61). If you want luxury, go stay at the Sienna for $200 a night.

First time we stayed at a days inn We stayed one night and the room was clean and the beds comfortable. The rooms are basic and "no frills" The breakfast was simple, cereal, bagels, some fruit and a waffle maker. Coffee was good! If your are looking for a basic room for one night , this place will do. Not to be recommended for a discerning traveler.

I stayed just one night to attend a cooking class at Southern Seasons and didn't want to drive back home afterwards. It is only about 2 blocks from the store on the same road, same side of the road - super easy to get to. Yes, this hotel is older and the furniture is not brand new BUT - it was clean as could be, the bed was comfortable and the tv worked fine. I was basically only there to sleep and it was perfect for that. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to do other things in the area and not needing to have a deluxe experience - that is not what it is about. My total price for one night, tax and everything was $62 - that cannot be beat and still have cleanliness and comfort! I would definately stay there again. I had coffee was was quite good but did not have breakfast - it looked fine and very basic.

Friendly hotel staff that allowed cancellation due to poor travel conditions (snow) that forced cancellation of our event.

Was in town for Carolina game with my 9 yr old daughter. It was all needed. Decent price. Room was clean.

The hotel is only a few miles from the UNC campus. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. It was great having a microwave and mini-fridge in the room. The only thing I would've liked to have is a fitness room. Very affordable!

Only one night here, because wanted to be close to downtown, so was fine. Would not stay for an extended vacation, however.

The staff was very friendly and tried to help in any way possible. Clean room. Bed wasn't too bad either. Would recommend!

The room was clean, well organized and with what you need for a good nights sleep. The staff are friendly and easy to work with, the breakfast was enough to keep you going to lunch. I will be using this motel again when in Chapel Hill

I was very pleased with the room at Days Inn, it was clean staff was excellent!

Great location if going to UNC or the Botanical Gardens. Shopping nearby and the motel is on a major road in a safe location. Amenities are spare. For example, sheets are extremely thin and towels are very low on "fluff". There is no pool. Breakfast is included and offers healthy basic food with coffee. The newspaper is free to guests. My room had a microwave. refrigerator, and cofee pot. If you want is a safe, clean place to spend the night, this is a good choice.
