The plumbing has been recently updated, and though the water pressure is a bit low, the water was hot. The rooms street facing rooms tend to be bigger, but can be noisy at night. The Escale Oceania has the perfect location. Cross a street, a foot bridge, and round a corner, and you're in the heart of historic Quimper's shopping district. The cathedral is right there, a very short walk from the hotel. And there's a top quality Indian restaurant even closer (the "Maharj," I think it was). The staff could not have been nicer. Only problem: the place was a bit hard to find, as its street was mostly blocked for construction. Once we found it, though, we were very pleased. It's right across from a police station, too, which is a very good thing...and right beside a parking garage. The room was a bit bare-bones, but we were very pleased with the value overall. Very recommended.
