If one would look beyond the age of the sheets and the almost bare-thread towels, you will find a restful clean and homey place in this Apartelle. I always stay on this place whenever possible. It is accessible to anywhere as it is just a quick walk to the LRT and very near shopping malls in Cubao.
Excellent of whole services, although The way to the hotel was crowded very much but the driver knows the best road to reach to the hotel. The stuff are very kind and there was a hotel in a quiet place, and the room was clean.
My wife and I recently stayed here mostly because of it's location. From the reviews I read on this site along with the pics I saw here, I thought I would like it more then I did. The 1st thing I noticed when we entered the room was the stale smell which we quickly became adjusted to. This place, which was probably very nice back in the '70s or whenever it was built is just so old and worn out. It needs a fresh coat of paint and flooring among other things such as curtains and furniture. This place is ok if your on a strict budget and don't care at all about the way your room looks and don't mind a moldy shower curtain and no bath mat. The tv was way too small. You have to pay for wifi which worked good and the staff were very friendly. The bed linen was clean and the fridge worked good.
I had a room for 13 months while my fiancée was preparing for immigration. The staff is very helpful, WIFI reception is good and not expensive. Being able to cook in the apartment was nice and saved us a lot of money as well. I highly recommend this place for a long term stay.
I had a couple of issues with this hotel even before I checked-in. I called Travel Book before 11 AM and informed them that I may not be able to arrive and I need to rebook if possible. I understand the loss of fees I paid but they needed to check with the hotel if they will allow the rebooking or if I am going to forfeit everything. The Travel Book agent called the hotel and when she got back, she told me that the person in-charge for reservations is out-of-the-country at that time. I mean, really? No back-up person? The Travel Book agent then had to send an email to that person in-charge to check and I had to wait on God-knows-when the reply will come. I tried to call Broadway Court around 2 AM and thankfully, someone answered my call. Bad news is, he gave me a different number to dial for "studio reservations" and nobody answered on that line. I still didn't get a response after 4 hours either from Travelbook or the hotel so since I didn't want the idea of wagering my chances of losing the night, I decided to go anyway despite my health condition. The hotel wasn't very hard to find. Although the address says it's on 3rd street, DO NOT turn right from Broadway Avenue. The hotel is right next to the big museum. The guy at the reception asked for my name and he looked surprised that I was there. I told him nobody got back with me about my cancellation / rebooking so I decided to go anyway. He asked for a security deposit (which incidentally is a higher amount than what I paid for the night) then he led me to my room. First impression: the room was humungous for a studio. You have your own receiving area, a kitchen complete will cooking and dining utensils, then you have your sleeping area separated from everything else by large cabinets. The kitchen would've been great for people who wants to make their own food and those who will be staying for a long time. But since I prefer eating out or buying food for myself, it was not much of a use for me. Unfortunately, there was no restaurant on site either. There's SaveMore and Mercury Drugs nearby which is good news. The bed was not as soft as your regular hotels and neither are the pillows. The AC worked fine but the remote controls of the TV are a struggle to press. There were two towels and two bath soaps on the bathroom and nothing else. No shampoo, no toothbrush, no slippers or anything. It's a plus though that they have running warm water and a bidet. Check-out was a breeze. They refunded the deposit and deducted payment for the use of wifi. Here's the rundown: (+) Good location. Near LRT, a mall and groceries Spacious room and a cheap price to stay in for a night (-) No restaurant on site It's hard to negotiate with the reservations people (or person) from the hotel
I stayed in the studio room and it was very large with a queen bed. I liked the fact it felt like home as it had some proper furniture , along with a stand fan, and medium-sized fridge, hot-plate, and enough dishes/utensils for 4 people. There is a save-more grocery nearby to shop. The place was very clean with decent lighting and water pressure in the CR . (It's actually amazing that the original bldg is 60 yrs old and others 40 yrs old, yet still clean). There was a small safety box which you must provide your own padlock. The TV is a small 19" LCD with decent picture, but poor sound quality. The channel selection was average, but only a few english channels. The location is a 5 minute walk to Gilmore station LRT #2 line. You must pay a 1000p deposit upon check-in for any damages such as stained sheets. Only PAID Wifi is available at 150p for 24hrs access, with the card expiring after 24 hrs., so u cannot save your unused time. If you don't mind being away from the "action" , its a decent place. Overall I enjoyed my stay, but i would choose my room carefully in the future as there is a small creek running through the middle of the complex(3 separate bldgs), and that creek smells strongly of sewage !
I stayed at the Broadway Apartelle from 5 November to 4 December 2014. My experience there was very good. All the staff at the apartelle were friendly and helpful. The place is on a safe area of Quezon City and close to the LRT train station, a Food Store and a shopping Mall. All within walking distance from the Broadway. I made all my arrangements for my stay at the Broadway with Luci Lee Haley. Luci was very helpful, honest and prompt. I recommend The Broadway Apartelle to all those that have never been to the Philippines and need an affordable and safe place to stay.
Broadway Court is a very comfortable and pleasant place to stay. I spent almost three months on two separate occasions. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Thank-you Abby, Juliet, Nilo, and Mario. The location is very convenient. 2 blocks from Lrt. 1 block to Savemore supermarket. 4 blocks to Robinsons Magnolia Mall. All the services you need within walking distance. Bank, Salon, Food, Entertainment, Laundry, Water service, and the beautiful Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church across the street. Please consider the Broadway Court on your next trip to the Manila area. A truly relaxing stay.
We stayed for almost 2 weeks in Broadway Court. Friendly and attentive staff. Located conveniently to places we want to visit. The place is very peaceful. Cozy. Homey. Safe. Clean. The airport pick up and drop off was a plus factor - one less worry for travelers, because you know your safe and someone will be there to pick you or drop you off even late at nite. I will surely stay again at Broadway Court on my next vacation. It's a Home away from home !!! Thank you Ms. Luci.
Friendly attentive staff. This is our fourth stay in Broadway Court and we keep coming back because they treat us like family. It's located conveniently close to where I work, grocery store, church, train station etc. Place is dated but is peaceful and clean.
