Enjoyed our stay a lot Front desk person eagerly pulled the bed apart to make 2 singles and remade the beds. Birds chirping near our first floor terrace. Mountain View and probably a little more scenic from a second floor balcony. We had a car to drive unto Queenstown but there is a bus which picks up across from the lodge. Highly recommended for the price.

Room was clean. Hallways needed to be vaccumed. Our room overlooked area where construction was going on so a bit noisy

We went there for our honeymoon and it's beautiful. It's the first place we stay for our honeymoon and we loved it so much! It's a little far from the town. (It took us an hour plus to walk since there's so many car and we had to go uphill and downhill haha) But a car ride would take approx. 10 mins to get to the town. There's no supermarkets nearby (that's walkable) but they do have mini-shop at the reception. However, the hotel itself was perfect. Clean and comfortable. (To note; there's not many public transportation in Queenstown, and the bus that reaches Shotover Lodge from the town would be every hour or so; and I'm not sure if you can actually take the bus to go to the town from Shotover Lodge. We tried and weren't able to figure out a way.. That's why we ended up walking. There might be but you'll need to ask around)

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is excellent. Modern rooms and great location - only 3 miles away from Queenstown

Clean room and they have kitchen. We can cook our breakfast and dinner there. The kitchen very big and the equipment are good. We met different people. The laundry also good only two dollars each load. The heater working well. My room is at the ground. I don't need to lift the baggages I recommend this lodge.

The best thing about the experience was the location and the service received. We arrived exhausted and well ahead of the check-in time, however, the person at the reception desk was kind enough to have us sorted no sooner than we got there. I also enjoyed how close the lodge was to downtown Queenstown.
