The room was nice and clean overall it was a good place to stay. Unfortunately there were a few things that meant it went from a 5 out of 5 to a 3 out of 5. I stayed for 4 nights and aside from the noisy room above me the first night who luckily left the following day it was a nice quiet room. The WIFI, I know many people will say who cares enjoy your holiday. I was there for business and the phone reception in my room was almost none existent so I had to rely on the Motel WIFI. At times taking 30 min to send 1 email at other times it wouldnt work at all. When I asked about possibly resetting the WiFi I was told in a very curt manner that its run off site and the number is in the book in your room. ( by the way I tried that number and there was no answer) The manager ( or who I thought was the manager) always seemed to be defensive and short with any responses whenever I inquired about anything. for example asking about laundry powder. it was $1 so I asked if it could be charged to my room. "No" OK pulled out my credit card "not for $1" ok eftpos it is ...... it didn't make me feel welcome or feel they were very approachable. In no way am I saying don't stay here and many people wont care at all about these potentially minor issues but for me it made it almost impossible to get any work done while in my room. I also struggled to use social media etc so on my next work trip I wont be coming back.
Had a lovely stay. The room was clean spacious and modern. Contain everything we need for our short stay including washing machine and dryer. The location was so handy, a short walk to town center which we enjoyed each time including the kids! , (parking in town was limited) and about 100 m up the road was the supermarket. Not to mention Neha the office manager she was very helpful, advised us of activies also ones which included children go free - this could have been due to school holidays . Thank you making our stay enjoyable and we would stay again.
So my wife and Varsity friends organised a catch-up in Queenstown. Us blokes tagged along. Accommodation for a large group (7) can be tricky. The Cranbury Courts aced it. Modern, clean, warm (important), with all the amenities. Is a close walk into the township. Beware though some of the units access can be very steep, which can make returning in for the night an interesting adventure (full of hilarity).
Very comfy and spacious rooms, we had a single bedroom apartment. Great location as we were able to easily walk to everything we wanted to do. We walked to the lake front and shops as well as the Skyline for the gondola. Groceries are easily obtained by walking five minutes to Fresh Choice down the road. We stayed two nights and once we parked the car, we didn't need it until we left. The staff were lovely and very helpful (thank you Nova). I would stay again without hesitation.
We stayed as a group of 7 and have nothing bad to say we had an amazing stay! Clean and comfortable apartment with really nice modern decor. Close walking distance to town :) will be back! Good price for a group and plenty of room for all of us, lovely hot showers and waa really nice to have a kitchen and balcony
Having scrolled through everyone's reviews about the rude old lady at the front desk (the manager), I can confirm that she still IS rude and unwelcoming and just unfit for customer service. Whether owner or manager, she should switch to something less hospitable as a career choice. NO smiles, NO help offered, NO courtesy as a basic offering for customers who pay to rent their lodging. Almost like they are doing YOU a favor by taking your money to put you up. Pls stay somewhere else. STAY AWAY from CRANBURY COURT. They TRULY give kiwis a bad name.
We had an awesome 8 night stay at Cranbury Court apartments when we visited Queenstown with our 2 teenagers in September 2017. It was also our first skiing trip. We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom balcony apartments. The apartment was cosy and very comfortable. The bathroom was nice and modern (kids loved the heated towel rack) - being 4 of us, another towel rail or extra hook to hang towels - but not a major issue). The kitchen was reasonably well equipped. Only suggestion would be to add some overhead cupboards to be able to store your pantry food. A rangehood over the stove/oven would be good too. The views from the balcony were lovely. We did the Milford Sound trip and the company picked us up straight out the front which was really handy. There is a large supermarket ("Freshchoice" which is equivalent to Woolworths; as well as an organic store "Raeward Fresh") within walking distance (2 min walk; 150 m). The Queenstown public library is also just a 5 min walk (in the direction of city centre). The city centre is about 10mins walk. This place is so close to everything (we could walk to the Luge; the waterfront; the ski centre to catch bus to the Remarkables) - we didn't hire a car as everything was close and as we were skiing or did a tour we caught the bus. The staff were fabulous and very welcoming and helpful. There is also a huge selection of DVDs you can borrow (free). The wi-fi was great. We would definitely book here again and hope to visit Queenstown again for another holiday. Would definitely recommend this place to others.Thank you!!!
We had our 2nd trip to Queenstown with 3 kids in August 2017, but the first time we have been skiing. For 8 nights, the terrace house style of accommodation here was a great source of entertainment for the kids. Whilst, there was a double bed downstairs & double plus single upstairs, we found it more manageable to have 1 child with us upstairs while the other 2 shared the bed downstairs. The Apartments are a 5 minute walk into town & a 15 minute drive up to Coronet Peak. The apartment is fully self catering. I would stay here again though the only complaint was the neighbour who decided to use their washing machine & dryer until 2am on our last night. Otherwise excellent.
Nice clean comfortable rooms and good location in to the central hub shops and restaurants of queens town. Our bus to the slopes picked us up pretty much right out the front and dropped us off again in the afternoon in the same spot.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Queenstown at Cranbury Court Apartments! The staff were wonderful, very friendly & helpful. Willing to help us out with a variety of things, including snow & tourism tips & arranging to send us some bits we left behind. The apartment was nice & clean & warm. Our apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The convenient location also meant we could walk into town to sight see or to walk in for a meal & a drink at night. We would happily stay here again or recommend to others looking for accommodation in Queenstown.
