Las neveras no funcionaban en los cuarto. Mas atracion para lod latinos.

The check in was a nightmare. The front desk made several errors. At first they thought we were diamond and where to another area just to be sent right back. The room was supposed to be ready by 3pm and it was not until after 7pm. The only redeeming part was that the rest of the staff was great.

My husband and I had a good experience at the resort. The resort is small compared to most resorts that we stayed at but this was a good change of pace. There were a lot of children here at the resort which is good for families.

Excellent employees and services , the only thing I don't like was the flies in the food area

I can't begin to say what an amazing vacation and resort the Royalton is from the minute you arrive you feel like you were home the staff is warm and welcoming it is well worth the money which is not much to upgrade to the diamond club if you're lucky enough to swim out room and our most favorite part of the trip was Juan The bartender he is the nicest person I've ever met in my life I offered him a job back in Connecticut I wish you would come the food was amazing from buffet to restaurants if you can't find something you don't like there is something wrong with you I have never had better pineapple or mango ever I cannot say enough about the friendly staff the cleanliness of the property and the all-around good feel look no further than the Royalton as I've stayed and seven other resorts in Punta Cana and this by far is the best we got back to days ago and I have already booked for September to go back

Stayed for 4 days and 3 nights (May 4 to May 7). Car was damaged during our stay at their parking lot (rear door, bumper, and some plastic was damaged). Yoan (assistant PR director) confirmed that vehicle arrived without damage but he couldn't see what or who hit us. He told us to leave while they investigate and that Mr. Miguel Suero (PR Director) would contact us on Monday. Got no phone call on Monday and we had to call to see what's going on. Secretary tells us that Miguel is on vacation and would 'probably be back' on Wednesday. We called on Wednesday and Miguel tells us that he knew absolutely nothing about the issue. We had to explain everything to him in which he simply replied us with 'the hotel is not responsible'. The law clearly states that the hotel is responsible. We confirmed it with AMET and 2 lawyers. He didn't even provide us with the video so that we can see for ourselves and report it to the insurance company. When we informed him what the law states, he said ah ok, we'll check and get back to you immediately. He never called. We called today (Friday) and when he picked up, he just hung up on us. When we called back he never picked up the phone again. What really angers me is how the hotel and Miguel handles the situation. The hotel doesn't even have to pay for the damages. They have insurance. Just report the damage and give the insurance company the video and done. In the end we're forced to repair the damages ourselves. Bad experience

The hotel property was nice and rooms were clean. The food however was very disappointing. It is advertised as luxury dining but the food was far from it. We tried different restaurants and the experience was the same. From pizza to steak it was not luxury dining. The staff is pleasant but not familiar with the menu and are not trained.

We stayed at the Royalton Punta Cana for our family vacation. The location cannot be beat. The sand and ocean is one of the best that I have seen in the Dominican. The hotel cleanliness was superior. The staff was cleaning constantly. I never saw sand anywhere. There are multiple places to eat. I prefer the à la cart, especially Hunter steakhouse. We would have breakfast there every morning, it was always delicious, and the staff was wonderful. The entertainment at night was always enjoyable. We had a great time with our nine-year-old son at all of the shows. The shows were just as enjoyable for the adults. We did purchase the diamond club, and I would recommend that also. It gave better access to restaurant reservations and better seating/service at the beach. I would say, they should police the beach for people who were from the Memories Hotel, I noticed every day they were using the diamond club side of the beach where seating is limited. Paying extra for that, I think the hotel should pay extra attention. I would like to mention Crispin, as he went above and out of his way to make our vacation wonderful. I really don't want to leave any negative, because we had such a wonderful time. I would only say, whatever you do, don't fall into the trap of the smart club/ timeshare. They are very aggressive and will take too much of your day. Otherwise, I would say this was one of our best vacations we have ever taken, and we travel a lot. We will definitely return to

From the lobby staff to the bar tenders to the entertainment staff, this hotel was well worth the expense. As a Dominican coming back, I was proud to see that my country offered this level of professionalism and organization. The view from the room was absolutely amazing and the housekeeping staff was always available and on point. The food at all the restaurants was diverse with a wide range of options at all restaurants throughout the day. This was truly a phenomenal stay and I can't wait to come back again!

The Royalton is situated on a beautiful stretch of beach. Having access to the Memories Splash water park was what made me choose this hotel. 1 minute tram ride separates the two hotels and trams come and go every 5 minutes. We had the water leak issue with the shower that others reported. It's because the shower door doesn't fully close but I wedged a hand towel on the bottom of the door to keep it closed and it helped. Food at the buffet was the best. I ate lobster almost everyday in addition to baby lamb chops. There's a chuncky red vinaigrette in the salad section that went really well with the lamb!! Tipped the grill cooks a few dollars every daybecause they were cooking everything to perfection! Hunters steakhouse had an awesome ribeye. Everything else was not good. And DO NOT order the crab cakes. It tasted like cold cat food. The reservation only Japanese restaurant was also not worth eating. They're supposed to do the Benihana ninja chef cooking but the food just wasn't good. They overlooked the chicken and beef and the fried rice was the only decent part. Plus no flaming onion volcanos or any cool tricks I'm used to seeing. It was really uneventful. We ate at the buffet after and had those awesome baby lamb chops and lobster and all was good again. The Mediterranean restaurant had good service but food was average. Didn't checkout the Italian, sushi or room service. Only complaint is the reserving lounges all day with towels BS that is common at all resorts.

Nice hotel. Beach is pretty. Staff didn't speak English well so at times hard to communicate. Food wasn't great, but I had never been to an all-inclusive so I didn't have anything to compare it to.

Other than the extreme pressure to have this "special breakfast" or sit down that lasted 2 hours to get you to purchase this sunwing package/points for the low price of $49,000.00 it was great. They need to back off, as I came to get away from the pressure and the stress and they were relentless!

The Royalton is a beautiful resort situated right on a gorgeous beach. The staff were always so helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean with a private balcony. The pools were clean and not too crowded. The entertainment was fun and appropriate for all ages. I took advantage of the spa services which were well worth the extra money. I had a wonderful week!

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay Food was very good Lot of beach drinks .

This is my first time writing a review, but I think this resort needs one!! Our first night we had to change rooms due to the strong mildew smell. The second room was "ok" average/nothing special, we have stayed in better. After complaining about a loud clicking noise coming from the A/C unit/thermostat that kept us up most of the night we finally moved to our third room in 4 days. We finally thought we could relax for the rest of our anniversary vacation...WE WERE WRONG! The fifth day after returning to our room from the beach we noticed that $120 USD was missing from my wallet. I know that we should have used the safe, but we have been to Mexico 3 times, and Jamaica 5 times, and we have never used a safe and we have never had anything stolen!! They are investigating the situation, so they say, and will let us know the outcome within 48-72hr. I'm pretty sure we can kiss that money goodbye..This was our first time to the DR, and I'm not sure if we will ever return, if so we WILL NOT stay at the Royalton!!

Todo Muy agradable ha excepcion de la insistencia de venderte un resort

Resort was very clean and maintained. The food was acceptable fare. They furnish all the bottled water you want as there City tap water is unsafe even to brush teeth in. I was happy with the pools, entertainment and clean private Beach's. Unfortunately I became very sick (not to do with Resort) and ended up in the hospital so I would advise you get travel insurance. The Staff was very supportive and I plan on going back there. Bob L Lake Havasu City, AZ

We stayed at the Royalton for one week. It was beautiful, clean and the staff was great. I would definitely upgrade to the diamond club for the money it is totally worth it. The only downside to being there was the food quality was slightly less than I hoped for - but I think probably the standard at most all inclusives. I would go back again. Watch out for the Travel Smart time share sales pitch unless you have two hours to waste.

From the minute we stepped off the bus, we felt that we were in a very special place! We can't say enough about the staff (especially Osiri our Butler and Jose Alberto who delivered our breakfast every morning)! The accommodations, staff and entire resort were amazing! Can't wait to go back!

The place is beautiful. Staff for the most part tries hard to help. Checking in is not a great process, especially if you get there before 3 p.m. or so. Our flight landed at 5:30 a.m. and they simply will not let you check in, which really makes no sense. The other issue that was disappointing was the gym. For a resort this nice, the gym is tiny. They also struggle to keep towels stocked. The attendant at the gym was one of the most unfriendly people. Don't bother asking him if he can get more towels, he'll give you a dirty look and say they are out of towels. He will then proceed to wipe down the windows or do some other useless task instead of helping to make sure people don't sweat all over the equipment. The waiters and bar tenders are awesome. They really try to help make you feel special. Whether it is by the pool or on the beach, I found them all to be great and friendly. The food is not that great. The omelettes in the morning were the best thing there. There were also other random good things, but you have to really try to find the good stuff. The ability to borrow catamarans, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, etc. by the beach is awesome and really made a positive difference in my experience. Overall, I would recommend this resort since the above issues are not that big of a deal if you are not a picky eater or don't care about the gym.
