One of the front desk staff is really rude. Multiple of our group members got stomach sick during the stay. The food was so so, tasteless.

Ok resort. Very family friendly. Was not impressed much with the food. Basically the same buffet every day. the al a carte restaurants are only open certain nights. 2 restaurants we’re open Thursday and Friday nights with out letting guest aware. So we missed out to try them. Also I feel like the staff is looking for a tip for everything.

Place needs a major overhaul. The beach area was not cleaned up food .plastic cups. Long wait at check it . Then they gave me a key to a room that was occupied. How embarrassing . How could you ever make that mistake ! The where giving me a voucher for a massage. And everyday the general manager said Tomorrow. But that never came . Do yourself a favor. Go somewhere else !!!

My room was filthy . Toilet broken. My sheets had blood on them and bugs on shower floor. Disgusting

This resort is very large and takes some time to navigate. That being said check in was a hot mess we were sent to go get lunch and then come back we did and then given a room an hour- 2 hours later which is a bummer thats why I choose our flights the way we do so we can be on the beach and start enjoying vacation ASAP. So i booked so i thought a king size bed but apparently thats just a request so we get to the room and its two twin beds the resort was totally booked i doubt that but thats what the said took 2 days to get a king bed which the beds are awful so awful spent most of my morning recovering from sleeping on it. Food is nothing special even at the reservation restaurants which the front desk didn't tell us about or give us the wifi pass code it was just sorta a joke .. we asked if we could upgrade to "level" which trust me if that braclet isn't on you your not getting a lift on the golf carts its like proverty and the wealthy lol its laughable . No one shows you where anything is at we felt like we were the inconvenience when we went to down to ask if a room was ready same gentlemen every time we spent a lot of time dealing with this issue so much so i won't waste anyones time ... luckily we didn't pay as much as we usually do and if we had i would have left as soon as we arrived . Next time we will stay at the other 3 resorts we have stayed at in the Dominican !

I spent 10 days at Meliá with my husband and our 13 years old daughter and we had a magic moment. The check in was fast and the person was very helpful finding us the perfect room near the pool and beach. The laidies who took care of our room was very friendly also and provided us everything we asked for. Restaurants, the food was delicious and the stuff was perfect always giving us a smile. The beach dance boys and the lobby dancing boys and girls group was the best ones providing us a excelente time either at the beach at day time and at the lobby at night time. The shows was awesome every night. Security guys and the drivers were very helpful as well... we sure are going back to Meliá

Of the week I stayed there, I can count on one hand of pleasant staff I had encountered. When we got there, there were only two people in front of us. I thought we were lucky and would not experience the 2+ hours wait as other reviewers. Nope... still 1.5 hours. There were 3 counters, and 3 different lines. Not the most logical setup. We had two rooms, and one room had issue with the key. It was a long hike to go from the room back to the front desk to get the issue resolved. They gave us another key. We went back to the room... still no luck. Another long hike back to the front desk. All we got was "I don't know what happened the previous two times, I can just tell you that the machine is telling me this new key (third try) will work on your door." When we pressed him more on why the previous two tries had failed, he tried the second key on the machine, and said, oh, it's for a different room. No apologies, nothing. Trying to avoid hiking back the fourth time, we asked for a golf cart to take us to the room to make sure we could get in. He ridiculed us, "You want a golf cart?! Look here. I can try to call for a cart. But everyone is busy. No one will come for at least 30 minutes." They can care less of the hassles they had caused their customers. Food was decent, but repetitive. Specialty restaurants were fancier. Free non-motorized sports. 4-star price for 2-star service. Will never return again.

Check in was absolutely awful. We arrived at 4:00. Each person in line took close to 30 mins to complete their check in. The process was insane. We stood around for over an hour and a half and staff members actively avoided you. When we finally did complete our check in it was after 6:00 and were told that “house keeping had not confirmed that the rooms were clean so we couldn’t get the keys yet” apparently it wasn’t just us because it seemed everyone in the lobby was frustrated. The staff weren’t being helpful, they just kept trying to pass people off to other staff members saying something about “managers” and people in charge of “reservations”. Finally at close to 8pm we had our room. We were given the keys, took the train to the room and walked in.... the room was OCCUPIED. Yea not kidding. We walked in on a couple and scared the crap out of them. We call the front desk, and after 5 attempts someone answers and tells us to come back. We grab our bags and make our way back... There is another 20 minute wait while they “find us a room” and finally give us one that they say has two double beds but we can move in the morning. It’s not what I want but at this point it’s been nearly 5 hours and I don’t care. We grab our bags and make our way to the new room.... can’t make this up, it is OCCUPIED AGAIN! We make our way back a 3rd time... finally they find a new room 30m later thays empty. We were not compensated or upgraded in anyway, barely even received an apology.

Reserved a room with king size bed, got one with 2 twins possibly 2 small fulls. Leak in bathroom always water behind toilet. Sliding door difficult to open. Hotel workers never gave accurate info: Told don't need reservations except for 2 restaurants not included but in reality needed for all restaurants. All inclusive but 2restaurant were additional cost. all inclusive but not able to go to pools and beach by level section. Place too big and not enough transportation

No music at all, no options to do at night, only a girl who sings for about one hour at one of the bars, no activities

Amazing time . I love this hotel the managament is superb was outstanding !! The staff at the restaurant at the Level restaurant made us feel so welcoming giving us outstanding service, food ,the night entertaiment was great They teach you everyone to dance . The rooms are very clean with very comfortable beds plus no mosquitos .

It took us over 4 hours to check in and when we finally got our rooms there were tons of things broken that needed immediate assistance. The back door lock was broken in 3 of our rooms. Three of our room safes were not working properly and the following day the toilet stopped flushing. The maid didn't understand what we wanted in our room and the check out was horrible. Our flight was 3:00 and we had to check out in 2 different lobbies and wait on the same line as the people who were checking in and needing room changes. People were getting ahead of those who waited on line for over 30 minutes, and there was no Air conditioning while you waited. The restaurants were mostly closed and if they were open , you were told that you didn't need reservations only to end up waiting anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes and still not get to eat with your guests. The food servers were very slow and often unresponsive.

My trip was good. I enjoyed the staff, food, and drinks were good. The only thing I didn't like that was no room service, and we weren't allow in circle facilities of the hotel. But overall was a good trip

Overall the hotel was less then ***.The room was ok. Same electrician outlet they were out from the wall , sometime The shower or The bathroom faucet was coming hot water could not make it in mixed with cold water.The servis was very bad.Room servis, waitress ,front desk no one was helping you.Bad experience.

It took us 2 hours to check in since they gave us a room that was occupied and They couldn't find a room that was ready for us. After we got that settled we had a pleasant stay. I would come back and I recommend this hotel.

Horeible check in. They didn't give me a room after 4 hours of check in and when they finally gave me a room they gave me a room with 2 twin beds when I was traveling with 3 other family members. I had to sleep on the floor for the 1st night because they didn't have another room for us. Bad front desk. Its way over crowded.

This resort is very large and takes some time to navigate. nice hotel, close to the beach
