Wish that the main pool and smaller pool were attached so you could get to the swim up bar from either one

First of all is a beautiful hotel, I like the fact that it was small hotel so everything was close. I choose the swim out diamond club, room was ok except for the coakroaches that were in my room every morning. Most of the toilets around the hotel don't work. Spa staff is very rude, made reservation to use the sauna and it was never ready and if you question them they give you an attitude.

The pools lacked maintenance, missing tiles, not scrubbed regularly and a little but too deep whick made the pools cooler than one would like. Pool depths averaged 5 to 5.5 feet instead of a normal 4 foot to 4.5 foot depth common for wading. Chairs were very limited and they ran out of towels and cups several times.

Everything was great! The lobby is very welcoming, and everything is nice and clean.

Excellent resort would recommend to anyone looking for an above average vacation. Overall the staff and amenities were world class.

The staff are great and I loved my ocean view.. what I didn’t like that they need more Dominican food.

We really enjoyed the butler service Johan got us everytging we wanted and more. Property had a few maintenance issues feel those could of been solved quicker including the hydro pool area was broke and not producing hot water. Beach was a lot smaller than in the pictures a large dun was hard to crawl down

The rooms were beautifully designed and spacious we did have a problem with our TV not working shower door not being able to be close and the mini fridge it was hard to open and close as the cabinet door covering it prevented this. We arrived and were told our butler would meet us in our room and he never showed up the next day we had to purposely asked to meet him so the first night we were stuck wandering around the hotel trying to figure out where we could eat dinner and where the bars were located. We saw our butler our second day when he gave us a tour he told us he would make reservations for one of the restaurants we waited until nine as he told us that was the only time available only to find out the restaurant was actually close that day so we got stuck at the buffet out again other than that we only saw him quickly one time and as we were leaving to check out. The buffet was great but it seems to be almost the same thing every day I wish they had more options for proteins each day instead of the same ones each day The staff was great entertainment was great the shows were amazing my main complaint is that by the end of the night the lobby bar on the sports bar ran out of pretty much basic necessities such as Juice straws and cups. Being part of the diamond club expected top of liquor to always be available and my liquor of choice is Jack Daniels about 80% of the time that I asked for it I was told there was no more. Overall I had a good trip and will be back.

I enjoyed my visit to Chic by Royalton in Punta Cana. The overall staff was great from the bell boys, check in, waiters and waitresses and housekeeping. The resort is small but don't let that turn you down. There are a lot of activities to do and the pool was nice. The food was delicious and the drinks were great. The only downsize is that the rooms need some TLC. You can tell that some maintenance must be done but they were neat and clean. Would return.

This resort is mostly all hype. Rooms smell moldy & Cos my. A.c. doesn't work well in all the rooms, staff can be friendly but always expect generous tips & the hotel is in cohorts with local taxi companies so they charge you really high prices for kickbacks. If your reservation gets messed up for any reason, goodluck with that. You're on your own, they won't lift a finger to help or accommodate you. My reservation was for ocean view diamond club which was through Orbitz but somehow got screwed up, I was put in a dingy clamy room in the back with no view, no tub & was asked to pay extra $300/day to get the room I originally booked instead of helping me straighten out the issue with orbitz. Bartenders & servers for the most part make you feel like they're doing you a favor & would walk right pass you without offering service. Food is okay at best. The worst of all is they don't tell you about their atrocious guest rules which states you have to pay $250/ night for a guess irrespective if your reservation was for two initially but you're by yourself. Needless to say my birthday vacation was ruined.

The employees make this place amazing! Cant wait to return.

Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly and accomodating. Samuel went above and beyond for my friends and I. Wander was helpful when i had an issue with transpotstion. Guest service staff Luisa was extemely helpful.

I used orbitz because of the the $600 resort credit and it wasn’t resort credit. It was coupons to take off money for certain things at the resort so I was very disappointed in that amongst other things. The premium diamond club pool was closed all week I was there. They also started construction in the rooms next to and above me at 7:30/8am every morning! And when you ask the staff, they promise it wouldn’t happen again but then the same thing the next morning. There was also 2 restaurants (middle eastern and sushi) closed on multiple nights.
