Super 8 Moscow

Staff was very nice and helpful. Allowed us to use the breakfast room for a family party one evening. Much appreciated!

Pros: Staff was nice, check in was easy. Little note from housekeeping was welcoming. Cons: My room had newer furniture (bed, desk, night stand). However, the carpets felt like they hadn't been cleaned in years (wore my shoes, too icky to go barefoot). There was this old recliner in the room that was worn and stained. It looked like something that was dragged in from the dumpster. Really gross. The air conditioner looked like it had been ripped from the wall at some point and patched back in with bubblegum (not literally bubblegum, it was just a really bad patch job). The final kicker was the stained ring around the bathtub. I think if the carpets were fresher, the recliner was removed, and the bathtub de-ringed, I would not have been so grossed out. With all that said, it is a cheap hotel. I guess you get what you pay for. I am not usually very squeamish, and I would stay here again in a pinch. I felt fine in the bed, I just kept clear of the dumpster chair. I stay in Super 8 hotels often. They are usually a pleasant surprise to the star rating. This was disappointing.

I stayed here in February and based on my experience rebooked..I wanted a clean, quiet, inexpensive room and this met my needs.

Not a very clean room. Has the old tube style TV's in the rooms. Had a game console that requires hdmi connection and this was not possible with those style of TV's. Disappointed!

This hotel is pretty basic, but gets the job done. The location is great. It is a half a block from a U of I campus entrance and the walking path is great, we walked to our destination on campus with in 15 minutes.

Was VERY appreciative when we asked if we could move from the 3rd to the 1st floor(no elevator)after our 1st night, and they let us move right away! I just couldn't go up those stairs. There is one staff member that didn't even look up from her computer when we came in late in the evening, but all the other staff we encountered smiled and said hello. Not a bad place to stay when you're on a budget .

We have stayed at the Motel 8 about 1/2 dozen times now when we travel to Moscow to visit our son and have been quite happy with it for the price. The beds are always comfortable and for the most part the rooms are clean and adequate. We do not need the pool and hot tub and fanciness that the higher rate places have but do want a safe and clean establishment . Wish they had more choices for continental breakfast, though.

The hotel was fine and the price was excellent compared to what we have paid in Moscow during other parent weekends.

It's a nice hotel was clean and comfortable. All the stores you need are in very close proximity to the hotel.

Great location and clean. Only stayed overnight for less than 12 hours to drop our daughter off at WSU. Shower would get hot/cool when water was being used by others. Served breakfast, but we didn't try it. A little pricey, but very few hotels available. Would stay here again.

If you are not planning to stay in Moscow for any length of time this works well.

Clean, breakfast was not great or worth eating, no elevator

This Super 8 was a good place to stay. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. I thought breakfast choices would be slim, but they had fruit, bread, muffins, coffee, juice, cereal, and waffles. No pool. But that didn't matter to us, we were just there to sleep.

If u have stayed in a super 8 then expect the same. It's like staying at a cousins house that isn't always the cleanest. But u have clean sheets. :)

Short walk to UofI, good location for college visits to UofI, WSU and LC

I was headed up to Moscow on a last minute trip. At first the Super 8 looked like a good deal. I arrived and the room was on the first level, a handicap room right next to the back stairs. Banging door and creeking steps all night. So it goes in Moscow the motel space is severly limited and rooms fill up fast, makes the 30 minute drive to Lewiston seem reasonable.

easy to get to/cheaper than the convention hotel..nearby food and gas

Good place to spend the night, close to the college without spending a lot more $$.

What can I say? It's a Super 8. Not a Hilton, but a good, clean, comfortable place to spend the night. The staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was just what we needed. Great value and right across the street from the University of Idaho.

It was not worth the money. The beds are terrible and is just a dingy motel. I have a child going to college in Moscow and I will never stay at this Super 8 motel again.
