Our housekeeper, Monica Perez, was amazing! She spoke very little English but was always enthusiastic and loving with our family. The kids looked forward to her making them different animal sculptures from the towels every day. Martin and the security staff did so much more by providing local tips on where to go and eat. He asked us one morning how our previous day's outing went and we mentioned that we forgot to get local vanilla. He showed up the next morning with a huge bottle from his sister's bakery! The concierge staff were all extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. All of their recommendations and reservations were top notch.
We had an incredible stay in a 1 bedroom Hamptons condo. The condo was incredibly beautiful with modern and classy decor and impeccably clean. The grounds are very well maintained and have breath taking views. The staff is attentive, very friendly and professional. We felt very much at home. Monica the concierge even set up a car rental and airport transportation that made things very easy for us. We highly recommend renting a vehicle to explore the surrounding area which we at all times felt very safe. Lots of small towns and restaurants are nearby. Thank you Vallarta Gardens for making this an incredible trip.
There is no place we'd rather be. Beautiful, relaxing, and amazing people. We've stayed in several villas and reefs and just unpack and feel at home within minutes. We come as a couple and with family. Restaurant on site. Close to towns. On the water. Love it every time.
We have stayed here the last years in December. Great time of year there. Everyone is very helpful and nice. We stay in the 2bdr penthouse and love it. Already booked for this December and can't wait.
in We purchased weeks at Vallarta Gardens several years ago, but had not stayed until now, and we were very pleased with what we saw and experienced. Our Martha's Vineyard two bedroom unit was comfortable and cozy with a nice little veranda and private swimming pool. When we left our apartment we walked past several pools and streams, eventually getting to the main pool, restaurant and beach, which was where we spent most of our time, shifting between the pool and beach. I was able to snorkel in the little cove and found pleasant ocean swimming to the right of it. Although the restaurant closes at 6 we learned to eat our main meal Mexican style at 2 and then enjoy leftovers or sandwiches in the evening. A nice touch were the kayaks and SUPs provided at no extra cost. On Sunday we took a fifteen minute walk to the La Cruz de Huancaxtle Marina market and might have eaten in other restaurants there, but the German restaurant near the church was closed for a couple weeks and we decided the seaside location of our resort restaurant couldn't be matched. It was easy taking a bus right outside the resort and riding to Punta de Mita and Sayulita. There were also two Oxxo stores just steps away enabling us to supply our kitchen with as much food as we desired. Right now workers are proceeding diligently to install new walkways, public decks and a snack bar near the new Hamptons single bedroom units, which look classy. We found the staff to be attentive, friendly, and helpful. We thought we had a hot water problem, but actually I was turning the handle the wrong way!
Its hard to describe in words how wonderful our stay was. Agustina and Monica in the concierge office were so professional and made us feel so welcome right from the start. We had not planned on staying two weeks but as luck would have it we were able to stay a second week. When we arrived back after spending a night at another property everyone said welcome HOME! That made us feel very special and true to their word we did feel right at home. Both our villas were beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and having a plunge pools and BBQ was a bonus. We spent a couple of hours with Cesar, the Quality Control Manager who provided us a tour of the property including the new tower and penthouse which is gorgeous. He was extremely professional and was able to help us understand all the details about ownership but without the pressure. Who wouldn't want to own a slice of paradise! The ladies who cleaned our rooms, Blanca and Ellma did a fabulous job, the gentlemen at the gate were so caring and explained the bus and taxi service and the great friendly service from Gabino around the pool was 1st class. La Cruz is a great little village with a good variety of restaurants (great recommendations from Agustina and Monica, thanks ladies) and the fish market is a must see and make sure to buy the fresh catch of the day for the grill. Its hard to come home but we now have another home to go back to and look forward to the next time we can visit Vallarta Gardens. WOW! Thanks to everyone who made our vacation memorable. I wanted to top all the other reviews of Vallarta Gardens but all I can do is add to their complimentary remarks. Above all the staff is gracious, genuinely friendly and gave service beyond expectation. From Monica, Augustina and Miriam in guest services to everyone in wait staff and house keeping it was a special interaction that made me feel like I was their favorite guest. Jesus, the operations director and manager ensured that I was well taken care of. Cesar has my undying gratitude for sharing his time and energy on my concerns. I live in the paradise of Lake Tahoe but I would be honored to call Vallarta Gardens my second home. Oh yeah.... the scenery is breathtaking, food and adult beverage very tasty and lodging is superb!

My husband and I stayed at Vallarta Gardens from Jan 28 to Feb 4 in a Studio Suite. We were so very impressed with the beauty of the property. Lush, manicured lawns and gardens are everywhere and beautifully maintained. Our room was well appointed with lovely furnishings and adequate Kitchenette facilities. Everything was spotless. The main pool is kept at a perfect temperature to relax or swim a few laps. There is even Bar service for drinks. The Beach is nice for walking and looking for shells and is located on a quiet little bay for swimming. We enjoyed the Restaurant every morning. The Staff are very attentive, and the Buffet food is excellent, as is the regular breakfast Menu. We can not say enough good things about the wonderful staff in the Concierge office. Agustina and Monica went above and beyond to offer assistance to us with Restaurant suggestions, which were all excellent. They made the reservations for us as well as arranged the taxi pick up service each evening. They also offered so many suggestions on what to do in the area, from enjoying the Sunday Fish Market in La Cruz, and the Craft Market in Bucerias, to setting up a day excursion to visit Puerto Vallarta and a Tequila Tour, which was very interesting. They were also knowledgeable in guiding us on which local buses to take into Puerto Vallarta, Bucerias and Sayulita. They exceeded our expectations in every way which allowed us to enjoy such a relaxing 7 night vacation. We will definitely return to this beautiful property. Signed Claire and Doug from Canada
Vallarta Gardens is my home away from home. The beautiful grounds create a surrounding that whisks you off into serene calmness. The staff are extraordinary with their professional, courteous and genuine service. There is something so special each time I return to be welcomed home by all the familiar faces. Being in the hospitality industry and knowing the high rate of staff turnover, seeing the same staff year after year speaks volumes of the management and how they treat their employees. Sharing cocktails or walking the grounds with the manager Jesus and seeing him greet and chat with all of his staff only adds to the beauty of the resort. It truly is a family. From the minute of driving into the property and being greeted by the front security team, to Elizar delivering icy cold margaritas poolside, to Miriam and Monica assisting with booking my next visit or finding out the best place for me to buy a sink, to the fabulous cleaning crew, I can’t say enough about how much I’m pleased with my decision to buy my membership. There is nowhere else I’ve experience such personal, professional and welcoming service. The modern designed villas are set up with all that one needs – blenders that work great, comfortable beds, hot water showers, private outdoor living spaces, BBQs, chilly and refreshing pool, plush towels and never ending supply of ice. The location is perfect as well – only a 10 minute walk into La Cruz to go to the market or the many great restaurants, zip across the street for tacos or the Oxxo for last minute conveniences, autobus stops outside the gate to go into Bucerias for shopping or dinner on the beach to watch the sunset and only 20-30 minutes away from Sayulita for some surfing fun. If you rent a car there is free parking but we like to stay local and use public transit. All in all, I rate this resort with 5 stars and highly recommend. They have become my friends and I only wish my life would allow me to spend more time with them.
