The property overall is perfectly fine. They seem to be very understaffed. Check in was absolutely brutal with them only having 1 single person at reception. We probably waited over an hr just to ck in. Unfortunately, even after an hr we still were told our room wasn’t ready and come back in 30mins. Per their instructions, we came back had to wait again for that single person to try to get our key. Another 30 mins of waiting and then trying figure out if our room was ready was very annoying. The food was overall “ok” the drinks like most all inclusive hotels were watered down garbage. This hotel is more of a quiet vs fun atmosphere and detached from the main Hilton. There is no beach access from this hotel. You need to completely walk out and around to next door get to the beach. The hotel is also situated approx 10m from downtown. The rooms were nice and clean with good AC.

Staff was always very friendly!! A lot of rooms were falling apart, like giant holes in the ceiling … and in and around the building. Our bathroom and a hole in it and model .. rooms on either side of us (doors were cracked open the entire stay) had part of ceiling missing as well as our floors hallway. The rooms themselves were nicely decorated and beds were cozy. Wasn’t hard to get minibar testified but very hard to get clean towels unless you had daily service which I never do. Extremely hard to make reservations t eat which means your stuck eating the same food in buffet… and honestly the food is very very bad. We ended up going out to eat a few times or just didn’t eat altogether… pool area seems nice but nowhere to sit because of limited chairs .. and they often ran out or pool towels even if you wanted to get in you couldn’t dry off. You can walk to mall and Starbucks (they have one but only services basic coffee nothing else) and one new bar on the corner otherwise everything else is a taxi ride away. Besides very nice staff… I would not go back here. There wasn’t anything to do, food was horrible, and it was a little creepy not knowing if your ceiling was going to fall in on you as you slept. We left a day early.

I like that we hqd acess to the Hacienda and the Hilton Hotel. I didn't like that we had to constantly kill Mosquitoes all throughout the day in our room. The resturants had tons of flies and nats all over the food

Super Clean, Excellent Food, Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, within walking distance to the port where most of the tours leave. The beach is excellent.

The last two times I have stayed at the Hacienda Hilton the beach towels and bath towels were very worn and frayed. This trip on two occasions the bath towels left by the maid service had worn places the size of saucer which you could see through. For God sake this is the Hilton not a Roadside Inn.

This was the cleanest safest place I have stayed. They have hand sanitizer everywhere. They temp test you going in and out. The test to go home was made very easy to take. I really enjoyed my stay here. I stayed a couple extra days I had such a great time.

The rooms were updated and really nice. Having a small pool outside was a special treat, but we didn't use it as it was too cool at night and we were at the main pool all day. The main pool area was great. The employees were amazing and super friendly. Because of COVID, the jacuzzi's were closed which was a bummer. Also, we had to walk to the hotel next door for breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was fine, but the lunchtime food left a lot to be desired. We ate dinner one night at the hotel and then decided to eat out for the remaining days. The food could be a lot better. Overall, we had a great time and we would come again and stay here, the only real complaint was the food.

The food was bad. Our room was not ready at check in and when we got to the room it wasn’t clean. The manager showed little regard for our concerns.

Well, staff was friendly and always trying to meet all your needs. I did not like the fact that there were way too many beach vendors invading your space constantly and the water at the pools was freezing.

The staff and service was amazing. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. Property is very nice, well kept and a great location. Breakfast buffet food, room service and pool food was good. We did not care for the dinner buffet either night. You have to make reservations to the other reservations and while we made two of them, we never made it to the reservations, which was no fault of the hotel. Overall a great place to stay and we would definitely stay again. I cannot say enough good things about the service and property staff. Adrian at the front desk made us feel extremely welcome from the moment we got to the property!

The adults only section was great. However do to Covid some amenities were not available. I’m addition, the food in buffet style meals were not great. Bland and not appetizing.

The room and jacuzzi was nice ! We had a problem with the door lock and it wasn't fixed until we were checking out. We had to access our room through next door neighbor rooms. Tge personnel is friendly and pleasant.

If you can postpone your trip until after the pandemic is over and while the resort is operating at full capacity with all their amenities in place, please do so! I do not recommend visiting now. You will not enjoy it. Lack of decent food options, families with children (and all the noise that comes with them) on the adults only Hacienda side and closures of most dining venues and pools made for a very disappointing experience. Let's just say I didn't get to eat or drink my fill at this all inclusive resort and left with regrets.

The property is very well maintained and the staff is pleasant. Our waiters at the bars Saul Zurita and Yzbeth were great. One negative about the property is the quality of food at the dinner restaurants. The time to wait for our food at the Mediterranean restaurant was an hour and it wasn't very good. After dining there and the French restaurant, we decided to leave the property for dinner the remaining nights.

The adult side was awesome for getting away from peoples kids. The beach was nice.

They tried to give me a different room from what I had chosen, they said it was only a request not a guaranteed . It was also my ready at check in time. The nice thing is you’ can start using hotel amenities while you wait for the room.
