This resort is just plain exceptional. The staff is exceptional, you will feel the heart of Mexico everywhere in this resort. You will also feel so safe with a staff ready to help you with any need! The pools are nestled in palms trees and the grounds are a botanical paradise. Good food at the resort restaurants is a nice plus! The one bedrooms feature two bathrooms and warm wood furniture and doors. We have been coming here for several years and the effort for ongoing upkeep and improvements is always evident. Great for young families, Seniors, couples..great for everyone!!
Gorgeous setting, salt-water pools, immaculately landscaped, cozy beach-front property. Average food in restaurants, room service food sub-par, restaurant and poolside wait staff less than stellar, bed was okay but the rest of the furniture was uncomfortable. Convenient marina location. A treat to have Starbucks on site.
We book using our RCI points. We always book a 1 bedroom which can allow our son to join us. Functional accommodations. Decent shower and bathroom in both halves of suite. We were only on 3rd floor so only had a view of the palm trees. Beautiful grounds. Love the pool area, lots of places to tan or equally to stay in shade. The pool bar has good food. Staff are all extra friendly. Time share presentation not too much pressure. Reasonably close access to Marina shops and restaurants, and a special bus to take you right downtown. Close to airport. Will stay here again if available.
This is our favorite Raintree resort. The bus to town and walmart is at the gate. It is walking distance to a large grocery store and yu can get there by walking the marina if you like. Staff very friendly and the resort itself is very well kept. It is a quiet resort with many restaurant within walking distance. Love it there.
The grounds are great; it shares pools with the Westin, which are nicer since own pool can be loud with bingo and activities. Great food and service. Rooms are on the simple side; nothing fancy but clean and functional. Ok beach but good sand area with palapas.
If you’re looking for a relaxing week, consider this place. It’s a time share but can be reserved through RCI. The facility is kept in great condition and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is located in the Marina area-a short walk to restaurants and shops. A bus or taxi will take you in to the city in 10 minutes. I have been going there since 1995 and it is still a great place.
My wife, one of kids and one grandkid, as well as brother and sister-in-law had a fantastic stay. We took advantage of the 2 for 1 and booked to Grand Suites. We came and went together AND separately since we had our own accommodations. My wife and have been there 3 years running and the staff treats us like a queen and king. They ALWAYS call us by name and are so thoughtful. The beach there is just OK but there's PLENTY of activities locally and FANTASTIC good choice at low cost. We've been to Hawaii a few times and Puerto Vallarta is like an more inexpensive Hawaii vacation.
Club Regina in Puerto Vallarta is an ideal resort for all ages. The beautiful setting, the perfectly manicured grounds, the excellent staff, the palapas on the beach, the inviting swimming pools, the excellent accommodations, the outstanding restaurants on property, plus it's ideal location in the Marina area provide everything one needs to kick back, relax, soak in the beauty, & have fun!
A lovely Resort! Very safe location! also, quite upscale, but VERY reasonable cost! Extremely well cared for and maintained facility. You will not be disappointed. Clean rooms, pleasant & caring Staff. Lovely Pool with Pool Bar / Food Service. We stayed at the Pool from Noon to 6pm virtually every day. The n saunter over to the lovely beach every evening to watch the beautiful sunset!
Raintree offered to by back my timeshare for $12,000, but would not be effective for 10 years. If I choose to keep my timeshare, Raintree stated the maintenance fees would escalate at unsubstantiated increases to "squeeze" the owner, in the coming years.
