Would like to have had boogie boards or kayaks available for use.
Would not recommend this place and would be my last time
Beach is a beautiful sand strand extending north to Bucerias not rocky as is found further south. The new building is amazing as are the pools and pool furniture. We were spoiled by the friendly helpful staff making each day better than the previous. This property will be a stop for us when we return this winter. I was surprised how warm the oven temp was.. amazing! Management has the property headed in an amazing direction!

Arrived, the room that I selected wasn’t even available, the manager told me to call Orbitz that they advertise what ever they want. I actually paid 54.00 more per night for the upgrade. The food was horrible minus scale We checked in at 3:00 and checked out at 12:00 the next day. I hope to get some money back. Never go there!!!!
The food was medoker. The buffet was ok. The Asian restaurant didn't have much of a selection..i was surprised there was no fresh fish for sushi. The steak house. ... the airline chicken was way over cooked and the carppapcio was lacking..the cheese cake was more like a lemon cake
This hotel was in terrible shape. We stay in some building whit no normal staff in the room.Room was stinky whit old furniture and old stinky beds and stinky pillows.Staf will just no problem bat they will never do they things!Pleas send inspection to check this place because it is not safe to stay there!Every electric was open and exposed to the people and children!Live electric is not fun especially if you are wet!We travel a lot and this Krystal Grand is the worst!Pleas do not put this hotel on your site!
Arrived at construction site. Weirdly, there's a half torn-down hotel (Bel Air) operated by the same company in the back, and they tried to honor our reservation, but couldn't find it. So they offered us to book right there a tiny, small, dark, musty, smelly basement room in the middle of the construction site (Building 3, there might be other rooms available). 3 pools? Only the one from the Bel Air that wasn't torn down yet. Restaurants? There was one that was only half under construction, and that supposedly served all food - outdoor seating on camping tables. Beach? Couple of old deck chairs under the retaining wall of the restaurant construction. Some staff really tried to be helpful, other staff had given up because the Bel Air will go away. There was just no solution. We were lucky to find a different place to stay.
The Krystal Grand (Bel Aire) was a construction site. We were shocked to find that the five star resort we had booked was actually a noisy, shabby hotel. No five star restaurants, no spa, or beautiful pools, etc although we def spent the money for a 5 star hotel. It was still noisy at 8 pm!! The staff were rude and shrugged off that what they advertised was false. Suffice to say we moved immediately, but had to pay another $1500 bc most hotels were already booked. These guys spoiled our vacation. Would not recommend.
