If you want to spend a night or two I might book this hotel but as a vacation not a good resort they doing some construction work the stuff not really friendly specially the tour guy.very small room.

The restaurant needs some help with the menu, the items to choose from were not what you look for going to mexico, nice Mexican dishes to choose from would be nice.

Great pool and staff. My only complaint would be our room was tiny with no balcony. We had a room that faced the Riu and was directly across from its air conditioning unit very noisy to say the least. We had a ground floor room with parking spots facing our window car headlights would shine in got pretty annoying. people loading up their vehicles milling about right outside our window very annoying. The we room we stayed in shouldn't be a room for guests it should be a utility room due to its poor location if you get room #3103 start complaining immediately. Don't get me wrong the resort is great. My wife and I don't spend much time in our room so I didn't say anything I also am not one to waste my time standing in line to see if we can get another room so I deal but after a week it got a little old. Our room wasvery clean and cozy when it was quiet. The beach is great here. lots of good restaurants fairly close to the the resort in Bucerias. This was my wife's and my 8th time to PV and we had a great time as always just wish our room had a better location. Thank you to Jose, Ricardo and all of the staff for making our stay fun, relaxing and all around great.

Jacuzzi didn't work No towels in room took staff about 15 min to bring them Asked to speak to Manager and she was a meeting could attend

Room was dirty and stunk. I asked the clerk to clean the bath tub because it had dirt all over. Never came to clean it.

The lay out of the grounds was perfect, but due to building new additions at 5 in the morning, making repairs on everything, trying to clean your room at the crack of dawn, ants in our bed when we arrived, and playing really loud music by the pool was over all stressful and not how a resort should feel. Even with an upgraded room and incredible staff...Never again.

My husband and I reserved a room at this resort after getting a recommendation from a friend. The hotel is located in a hotel zone within Nuevo Vallarta, which means everything outside of the resort is very expensive. I recommend this hotel for those who are planning on mainly staying at the resort and not venturing out. Although the resort has great beach access and a pool, they lack in the food department. We found ourselves driving to the Puerto Vallarta boardwalk every night, which is about a 30 minute drive. The rooms are VERY small, but overall we were comfortable.

The room we got it was to small, I feel like I was running out of air, the hot tub was not working, I was up till mid night trying to repair it. That never happened, next day we talk to help desk and the give us a better room, It was much better and bigger. that was a plus. WiFi was not working on the small room. that was a minus points because I do work from my PC. Other then that all good we love the food, Angel and Johnathan were the best, in the restaurant and in the pool area.

Bel Air has beautiful grounds and an amazingly friendly and helpful staff. The one down side is that WiFi is limited to a small outdoor lobby area and not very fast.

I was only here two days and it was pretty good. Wi-fi doesn't work anywhere besides lobby and part of the pool area so that was a big down for me. I had a good view from the 6th floor. Housekeeping comes twice, one to check if you're in your room and the 2nd to clean about two hours later. The sheets were dirty the first night. Pool is great. Food is good. All in all, a great place. Also, no cash is accepted besides at the the little convenience store and for tips.

Great bathroom - hard to find but location great. Toiletries are also fantastic.

overall good, just be carefull some rooms are reaaaaallyy small

Be careful, some rooms are super super small, and for me the sheets need to smell good, they didn't smell anything, not enough day beds, chairs at the beach neither at the pool. Average

The friendliest staff, great location, and amazing food. Could not ask for a better experience so close to Puerto Vallarta and all the smaller towns.

The staff of the Bel Air is the best I've ever encountered. We were greeted with warmth the moment the taxi arrived, and it continued for our entire stay. My wife and I renewed our wedding vows on the beach in a beautiful ceremony planned in only a matter of two days by the resort' s Wedding Planner. Our children (8 and 6) had fun at the Kid's Club while we spent our days by the pool being well taken care of by the poolside staff. We were not on an "all-inclusive" package. Our Master Suite room was exceptionally quiet, with ocean views from the balcony, and had a comfortable king size bed, and was private with sliding doors and curtains. The infinity pool is stunning and was always at the perfect temperature. This resort is a fraction of the size of the mega resorts nearby, which was important to us. It made the entire experience more personal between the staff and the guests. After two days, we felt like we were family. It was also far quieter and more relaxing overall. The pool was never over-crowded to the point that most other resorts suffer from. There were two days in which the pool area had a party crowd from a wedding party...which made us realize how quiet and serene this resort is in comparison with mega-resorts where there are big parties and events all the time. There was no time-share pressure, other than an optional breakfast and 90 presentation. We attended, then politely declined the offer, although I must admit that the offer to buy a membership (Interval) was a great deal. We also took an all day bus tour, which was very good. Compared to other resorts I've stayed at (Mazatlan, Acapulco, Honolulu) this was my best experience overall, predominately due to the exceptional hospitality and comfort. For dining, I would highly recommend the (hidden) sushi bar and several traditional restaurants in Bucerias. The Front Desk staff gave us great suggestions.

Great experience for me and my Girlfriend. We will definitely be returning in the near future. Staff couldn't be any nicer and the location was amazing!!!

This is my second stay in this hotel and the fact that I came back and will do so again says more than anything else I can say--they still charge for WiFi but there is a business center open 24 hours a day so you can use that for your internet needs--if you know the Mexican keyboard!!!

From the moment I arrived late, until the time I left--again a little late--the experience in this beautifully situated hotel could not have been better. My only complaint would be the charge for Wi-Fi at $13 a day or $70 a week--this is a tad insulting in an otherwise first-class hotel. The grounds are perfect and the Riu Palace is about a breath away and is beautiful--sort of like being in Newport among the "summer cottages." I cannot recommend this hotel enough and I know Nuevo Vallarta very well--from a place that was mainly undeveloped fields when I first went there in 1997 to the true Riviera Nayarit that has now developed--and not in the haphazard way Puerto Vallarta has. If you are thinking of going to Mexico may I recommend the Pacific Coast and particularly the Bel Air in Nuevo Vallarta. You will be impressed.

resort was what I needed not to far out of the way. Close enough to Neuvo Vallarta to walk. Further than I wanted from Peurto Vallarta 2 buses to town center

Great resort if you have small kids. We took the all inclusive package but the selection was minimal so I would not do that again. The place is very clean and the staff were great. Being that its small the lack of shows, events and selection hinders it.
