My daughter and I stayed during the last week of June. The beach and adult pool were very quiet and relaxing, not crowded at all. There was no night life at the resort. We were expecting music/dancing at the outdoor cafes but they closed around 10pm. There is a casino on premises though. The resort is 35-60 minutes from the airport depending on traffic and taxis are very expensive ($70 from the airport, $50 uber to Old San Juan). We opted for uber once we reached the resort (but the resort makes uber pick you up from the Iguana Pub by the golf course). There is a complementary shuttle to the pub (tasty salads there too). We didn't care for the food at Shimas. Root and Bone was excellent! The spa was very overpriced. They charge an 18% service fee instead of letting you tip. We were disappointed with our facials (gunk was left in our hair from the scalp massage, my technician dropped gobs of stuff on me then tried to sell me on the products). Overall, the staff was polite and helpful, but not attentive. Facilities were very clean. The rain forest is only a few minutes away and you can rent jet skis on the beach if you are looking for close by activities. We did the high impact hike to La Mina Falls which we highly recommend.

Everything was nice, a little bit over price , overall it very nice and clean

Fantastic place near of beauties in Puerto Rico, We can go to take a boat and visit Culebra a little island of PR.You can snorkling near too.

Beautiful resort and good food; however, if you are not staying there with some sort of all-inclusive package, be prepared to take out a loan. Family of 4 cost $100 per meal. ALSO, some of the staff was extremely rude....especially one of the girls at the Barista (wish I had her name). Made me regret spending roughly $7,000 on this vacation. All of the outside excursions were very good and the tour guides were the best. According to the tour guides, Puerto Rico depends solely on retail and tourism. I think Wyndham has a different mindset. Will not be visiting PR ever again. Thanks Wyndham!

Enjoyed my stay. Most of the hotel staff was great. The staff at one of the restaurants could have been a little more friendly. That's the only reason I'm not rating this excellent. Word of advice, talk to your patrons... Will help increase your tips while your at it.

Beautiful location, excellent service, spacious ocean suite, public beach in front which is just like private beach ( as no public access to beach), views are amazing, true Caribbean paradise, Restaurants have delicious food but expensive, great concierge service with information on local restaurants, fun things to do like zip linning in rain forest or Bioluminescent Bay Tour all arranged easily. Don't be afraid of clouds/rain on google weather, weather is amazing, seldom rains, clouds come and go, but whether is perfect for exploring or swimming on sea. Excellent resort for toddlers with special pool for toddlers, 3 other pools with one adult pool, one with pool side bar. Always can find a empty spot on a long beach in front of hotel. Free towels service for pool and beach. A truly relaxing experience

I booked a trip for myself and I had a wonderful stay at the Wyndham. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and the grounds were beautiful kept! I would recommend getting a room facing the rainforest if you want quiet- sometimes poolside can be noisy with nighttime entertainment. I spent most of my time at the beach, which always had a chair and an umbrella waiting for me- no need to search around for a spot. The beach, honestly, was my favorite part - its quite large so you really could walk a little and feel like you were the only one on the beach! The pools, however, were plentiful and well kept. Golf course is also apparently a great plus for those who golf. Only minor complaint is the food choice- the only main dining experiences at the resort are Italian, Japanese, and southern cuisine- no local food! I honestly enjoyed eating lunch there more because the beach-side café had more local Puerto rican dishes. Overall, great experience- I highly recommend!

A little remote but good for a long weekend. Room service cheaper than some restaurants

Rude staff, gate guy is horrible, dirty, housekeeping is inconsistent, everything is extra, hidden fees

I'll make it short and quick - staff was very friendly, pleasant and helpful; room had amazing view of the rainforest which also allowed me to fall asleep to the peaceful sounds; pools were amazing but needed to be skimmed more often; meals were great except for the chicken piccata in Palio (tasteless). Grounds were beautifully manicured; there were a lot of activities going on throughout the days; Overall a pretty pleasant experience and I would return.

The combination of the ocean, pools, and margarita ville are what resort living is all about. Top notch experience!

Only thing I didn't like about this resort is there is no night life, everything.closes early and there aren't many choices of restaurants to eat from. Other then that it was beautiful and I had a great time. I would defend recommend this place to a friend.

We had a great time at this resort! The staff was friendly and helpful when we were wondering about how to get around the area, local eats, etc. I would recommend renting a car as soon as you arrive! Uber and taxi's are rare to come by, so having your own vehicle will save you money and make getting around much easier. Overall, it was a great experience!

Beutiful resort however overpriced food, parking. No coolers allowed in the premises. If you're staying in the hotel side for the money you're paying, there is no fridge or microwave in the rooms. .

No microwave facility available. I believe it is not there or costs premium which is expensive. Small children with special care it becomes uphill task as we have to completely rely on going to a restaurant which is quiet far. There is no all inclusive(food+hotel) package. It is definitely a big challenge to get seating in Restaurants within the hotel premises. Food choice is very limited. In fact I would say for people who like eating asian/chinese food it is a nightmare.

Great time, great facility. Perfect for a family vacation. Service can be slow, and food options need work, but nothing that would deter us from coming back again. A solid choice.

Multiple great pools and bars around the facility. Drinks were great, but a little pricey. Go to "Los Kioskos" down the street for cheap bars and drinks and shops. Best to have a car at this hotel, because it's not super close to attractions outside of the resort.

The hotel is located in a great location. Nearby small restaurants and kiosks with authentic puerto rican food.

Beautiful island period , nice get away but the only thing about this hotel the whyndem is that it's a little too expensive for everything!

had good time but places to see off hotel grounds is to expensive by taxi must do tour out of hotel a little expensive and most are not done every day so book you tours early.
