"Suite" overlooks the roof, moved to poolside and air conditioner leaked on floor all night. Staff inattentive.

I went on Orbitz and requested ONLY hotels with ALL INCLUSIVE and this hotel came up. When I go on vacation I like to spend my money on excursions, souvenirs, and tipping. I got to the resort and was told it was NOT all inclusive but I could pay an extra $200/person per day. I paid the money. Then found out it was only good for ONE restaurant for breakfast and dinner and 1 restaurant for lunch. They had the same menu all 5 days!! The restaurant had 10 people on staff but I had to wait 30mins to even get my dirty dishes cleaned off the table after asking multiple times. The poolside bar has speciality drinks (made with a pineapple) that was NOT part of the band I paid extra for. They wanted an extra $12 for each drink. I love to travel. I book plenty with Orbitz. This was the first time I was sooooo disappointed. I will seriously consider using a different application for future travels.

You're a beach resort. Daily charges for towels, etc is ridiculous. Also, I'm a paying guest. Why would you charge a daily fee to park. That should be included with the room. Drinks were watered down. Beach was disgusting.

The claims of offering "all-inclusive" @ this hotel are false. While the room was clean, the hotel had many fees & taxes on offered amenities & little else. No help w/luggage upon check in & no elevator which meant schlepping my gear up 3 floors. Housekeeping didn't occur daily, but I sure was charged for it, w/taxes x 2. In fact, I had $415 of unexplainable charges pending on my credit card by my 3rd day there & the front desk lady was clueless in explaining why & said that much in a very bothered, unfriendly way. Glad I rented a car, b/c the food offered there is extremely limited, overpriced & bland. The hotel is miles from San Juan & while they offer parking & valet, be prepared to pay tax twice in addition to their advertised daily rate & review mystery charges upon check out.

We had a great stay. The hotel overall is nice. The pool and hot tub are comfortable but busy on weekends. The beach is close and a good place to relax. The surf is rough and swimming is not recommended but not prohibited. There are (rangers) on patrol. Staff were helpful and friendly. My room was not ready, so free upgrade. No dancing or newspaper. Showers are hard to enjoy as the temperature changes every few minutes. Safe gated resort community to run or walk. Parking was easy. Beautiful grounds and surrounding resorts. Restaurants were spread throughout the community. Super Walmart was in neighboring town. We bought half our meals (groceries) and drinks there. People and schedules run on island time. Don't be impatient stinky tourists. We rented a car from the airport. You have to be a good defensive driver all the time. We had no problems. El Yunque and Culebra were great day trips from here. I would do this trip again the exact same way.

Nice hotel, nice location and nice friendly staff. Only thing is they ran out of towels at the pool and food was kinda pricey. We did enjoy our stay. We may return.

They offered us an upgrade because the room wasn't ready on the check in and then we had to pay for it when they said it was an upgrade for the inconvenience. Way to expensive. Surprised charges at the end.

This is a large complex but the feel of the room and hotel was welcoming and orderly. The room was spacious and clean although there were a few little things that needed attention (which we told the desk about at check out). Good a/c and nice clean rooms. The pool was lovely and nice seating surrounding it. Hotel restaurant was not overpriced and very convenient. There was also a little shop for breakfast.

It was a decent hotel just too far if you want to walk around and explore.

Right off the beach with many activities on the premises. It is close to the bio bay and the rainforest.

We were received by Stephanie. She told me that the room I choosed was a room without balcony and she can make an upgrade for $20 per night so I can be on the first floor because I got a stroller there was no elevator. I prefered to stay with the rate that I already pay, so she gave me a room on the third floor. I was alone with all the packages (4 heavy bags and a stroller) and my 2 kids and there was nobody or a bellman that can help me with all. So I leave my kids alone in the room and come back to the lobby to pick up all my stuff. At the night I ask for a bed sheet for my baby crib and it tooks 45 minutes to bring it. The sliding door of my room doesnt work. It rains and all the floor in front of the sliding door was wet, because the rain cames inside through the door. I get to the lobby and they send a gentle housekeeping man, that help us very fast. The pool was l pretty good. The prices at the Pool Bar were awesome, as soon as the rate per night at the hotel. There were great restaurants near the hotel.

I stayed at the Wyndham Palmas del Mar two weeks ago for a wedding and the hotel was booked to capacity. I arrived late and was told that there were only double bed rooms available although I reserved a king. Not a big deal. Once I got to my room the floor was moist/wet. I figured perhaps maybe housekeeping just left and the floor needed to dry. A day later the hotel room was still moist. I only stayed for two days and didn't bother complaining but overall the hotel room was gross and uncomfortable. Plus don't bother choosing the All Inclusive option because nothing is open late or for 24 hours. Furthermore I only saw one restaurant. Smh. This hotel is a joke, I attended a beautiful wedding at an off site affiliated venue but surely I will never stay here again.

rooms are outdated, I didn't go to the beach but one time an I have bites from the knees down to the feet, no fridge, no microwave, closes gas station about 2.5 miles away, no where in that area for souvenirs, the boxing was televised there with one little, little bar to carter to about 200+, extra staff was present but don't know why they just people watched letting the stairways, walk ways get over crowded. The room was not what I thought I was getting literally about a motel style. Over all not happy an when the issues were addressed the young lady said ok an would have the manager contact me cause I was there for a wedding. I informed her that I didn't want anything in return just wanted the issues acknowledged. Well made it back stateside an still no call lol. You would figure the name, price that they would step up. Management needs to be trained an held responsible. Take a trip to Honolulu Hawaii if u need to see what right looks like.

Hotel was nice. Very clean. Customer service could have been better. The check in process was long and time cussuming. I enjoyed the golf cart rental and beach was close. Overall trip was great.

The hotel grounds are beautiful and the beach location is beautiful. I was not wowed by the hotel amenities or the staff. Upon our arrival my fiance and I were given our hotel key card and accompanied to our room by a hotel employee who assisted us with our bags. Once we got into the room we soon realized that the room had no balcony and no garden view (which is what I paid for). I proceeded to call the front desk and was told that I would have to print out my reservation in order to resolve the problem. I was frustrated that I was asked to print out my reservation when I could just show them the email I had on my phone so I decided to go down to the front desk and speak to a manager. Once I got down to the front desk the manager came out and I explained the situation. He was able to switch my room and the problem was solved. The hotel pool was very small for such a large establishment and it is only four feet deep. The actual room was very basic comparable to a room at a days inn or any other low cost hotel in the states so don't expect to be wowed. There is a David's cookies adjacent to the lobby however the food is horrible and extremely overpriced as is the laundry service (a dollar and change to wash a pair of panties, really?!). The worst part is the person who provides information and pricing on attractions for tourists. The prices that are charged are ridiculous such as $65 per person for the bacardi tour when the tour is provided by bacardi for free with a tour guide who is an actual employee of bacardi and two free drinks per person. The staff at the bar was wonderful and the gentleman who works the front desk during the night was amazingly accomodating. Overall the stay was nice but it could have been much better.

I stay at this hotel for business trips. The location is convenient for me when traveling to the customer site. The hotel rooms are in generally good condition, but there always seems to be issues with hot water in the shower during the morning.

Bad, got to hotel at 2:30 checking said 3:00 pm we only got the room at 5:00pm, they would clean the room and forget towels or don't come at all until a complain was made, I would love going back to the same location but not same hotel, and would not recommend to any of my friends.

Over all everything was nice, but nothing was really special. We paid a little extra and got a room with a king bed and a small balcony. The room was nice and a comfortable size but the bed was extremely firm and the view from the balcony was of the roof of the restaurant. The pool is nice but during high season I could see it being a little small for a hotel that size. The gym looked nice but had a sign that said out of order (not sure why). The beach was very close and again nice, but as far as Puerto Rican beaches go no where near the best. The water was pretty rough so there were not too many people actually in the water. The price we paid for the room was very average and that was how I would characterize the experience (so a decent value), but everything else there was priced very much like a luxury resort and not worth it. $12.20 for one drink at the pool seems a little steep for what you got. The room we got did have a mini frig in it (I do not know if that was because of the upgraded room we got or if all rooms come with this). So you could bring your own drinks and avoid some of the price gouging which we did. There is also a small convenience store in the plaza near by that has reasonably priced items as well. The golf courses looked fantastic although we did not play (so I am unsure how pricey they are). So again overall nice for getting away from it all and relaxing, but not a luxury hotel.

some employees very humble & helpful others were not didnt find professional etiquette in casino grounds were beautiful!
