Nice staff helpful .. only problem the bathroom door came off the hinges. . Install backwards..
Wonderful hotel, with a very nice staff! The lobby is very modern, the pool is small but relaxing, and the restaurants have great food! Extremely close to the beach and in walking distance of other restaurants and a Walgreen's! Perfect hotel for families, friend cations, and romantic getaways!
Hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. It was perfect walking distance to the beach.
Overall, it was a nice stay. The rooms were small but clean. Bring some ear plugs because the rooms walls are thin and hallways are tight. You will hear your neighbors doing the nasty the entire stay. Definitely not a kid friendly.
The hotel is ultra modern, rooms are not big but who cares you stay outside all day anyway !!! You find ANYTHING in walking distance !Mi casita great food! A lambic bar Great food! ENTREVINOS beautiful place and great food for dinner! ❤️❤️❤️Isla Verde !
Rooms were small but didn't spend much time there. It was my Birthday and the staff was great, especially Lymaris, she hooked me up, had a great attitude and was just overall a wonderful person to meet during our stay! And shout out to the other staff memeber who recommended the eating place we went to everyday for breakfast Taste from PR, big delicious breakfast $21.
The beach is directly across the street and there are several food places that are within walking distance, including American chains. I recommend the Los Gorditios chain near Taco Bell. Cons: I didn't like the parking there because it was $8 per day, and the spaces were tight. The water was barely warm, and became cold very quickly. One of the days, my room was not serviced, which bothered me because there is no fridge to keep the takeout food from smelling up the room. Pros: It is very close to the airport and several other places of interest were wihin 20 minutes driving distance. I asked for a microwave and I got one. Towels are provided for the pool. The wifi is free. They have a small gym and guest laundry room which were clean. The staff was friendly, and tried to speak English. The place was clean and quiet! There are two onsite restaurants and a bar. I didn't eat the breakfast buffet, but one is available ($13.99/day). There are a few novelty shops, a Walgreens, and CVS in walking distance.
Great accommodating staff, I felt ill during my stay and the staff was caring and solicitous.
Close to the beach and restos..................highly recommended
We stayed here bc it was our last night and it was close to airport. The beach is across the street-even though we didn't go -it was raining. It's within walking distance of Walgreens and resturaunts. The decorations are very nice, staff is friendly, we had a late night pizza from their restaurant that was good. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. My only complaint -and this is probably more on Orbitz side, when I first clicked on the room choice on orbitz it said balcony but we did not have one.
I read the reviews of the TRYP and thought, could this place really be that good? So, I purposely waited till I got the deal I wanted on this property. I've been to PR several times and stayed in many properties and spots on the island. This area and hotel are the best deal for your money. First the location Isla Verde (Carolina) is perfect. It is safe, well lit, lots of nearby restaurants and hotels, with one of the best beaches on the island right across the street. As far as the hotel, we were warmly greeted by a sincere and helpful staff, the rooms, though quaint, were well maintained with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. That's pretty cool to get that bed at a hotel. We ate at Hotties and Lupi's. Each day we took the T5 bus into Old San Juan. It is very easy to do. The bus stops are right in front of the hotel. For .75 each way, you can see every attraction in Old San Juan. We went to San Cristobal and El Morro, walked the old brick streets of San Juan, and ate at Raices and Deavedura. All of our restaurants were good. We accidentally walked into Deavedura and loved it! Very authentic and the best Pina Colada, and very inexpensive. We will definitely stay at the TRYP again, when we go back. Try to see El Yunque and Luquillo Beach if you have a vehicle. We did not rent a car, but found a guide for that day and went to both. Be prepared for a tough hike at El Yunque but it is worth it.
Close to nightlife, hotels, and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beach directly across street.
Very nice hotel. Luxurious and very friendly staff. I will definitely come back!
I really enjoyed my trip here. I would definitely come back to this hotel because the staffs are so wonderful & helpful. There's a lot of stores next to this hotel like cvs,Burger King & lots of sovenir shops to chose from. The room was very clean
This hotel and its staff were amazing. It was our first time visiting Puerto Rico and they gave us all the information we needed when it came to places to go, eat, and transportation to those places. The rooms are modern and clean and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. The staff was extremely friendly and when we asked about a microwave to use because our room did not have one, they personally delivered one to our room! Although the hotel is not directly on the beach it is a 2 minute walk and there are a ton of restaraunts and shops nearby and is a short ride away from the airport and Old San Juan. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Puerto Rico!
location, location, location! close to beach, close to historical locations. Many restaurants in the area. Very close to the airport.
Hotel staff friendly and accommodating; room in good shape; small bed and bathroom but generally adequate; big problem with party on 10th floor for a couple of hours on Friday night. Couldn't shut it down til after one or so. Decided against staying on our return back thru San Juan. Stay at airport hotel if you're just overnighting before trip to Tortolla/BVIs. Can avoid the $20 taxi fare each way (5 minute ride) from airport to hotel(s) in Isla Verde.
water not hot enough.no hottub other wise clean place
The most comfortable bed I have EVER slept in!!! This hotel was fantastic with great staff and location. Los Pinos next door was the best place to eat with Hotties right next to that. Great shops and the locals were exceptional to us! Beware of car rentals on that strip, cars ride terrible. Call ahead for one near the airport to come pick you up.
Great hotel (staff, cleanliness, accommodations) Beach is right across the street. Bus stop is right I front that takes you to old San Juan and surroundi g ares. Only thing is Breakfast buffet can be a little better.
