They had no hair blower. The staff was friendly and everything we needed we could just go and buy.

Not the fanciest but a great small hotel, ten steps walk to beach and friendly staff. Great area, lots of yummy restaurants and fun bars.

Sandy Beach Hotel provides rooms with clean beds and bathrooms right on Condado Beach. There are restaurants, a casino, and drugstores nearby. It is a perfect place to spend a night or two before getting on a cruise ship. There is a taxi stand right outside the hotel too! It is a simple, plain facility, but it works for a short visit to the beach.

Outdated furniture and for budget stay ok. Not that meny amenities that would help during my stay. Staff very friendly do not recommend staying on first floor too much people traffic. People loud and not considerate to people sleeping.

Gave me a room that was not even cleaned and smoke all over the place. Then the next room smell and floors were not swept. My 80 year old mother and Nephew had to leave in the middle of the night, because the room was roach infectious. Discover that my room had roaches also. Hotel should be taken of your list, over rated.Never again.

I like because was close to the beach. But the bedroom was dirty,

Get one of the front corner rooms where u can see the sea and get a breeze, the side rooms are too close to other buildings. A real character hotel, pigeons were roosting on my windowsill as a gay disco roared next door til midnite. I asked for another room on the front side and was happy. When my toilet and shower drain clogged, they fixed the toilet but ignored the shower and it is tacky to have to wade in your own dirty soapsuds. Ttwo of the cranks on the three jalousie windows were stuck closed and I knew better than to ask them to fix them. The hotel is on the skids of poor maintenance. It's steps from the beach which roars all night long, a good thing! And it's a few hundred feet from the bus which goes all the way to the aeroporto and the old fort El Morro. [Trouble is they won't let u take luggage on the 75-cent bus but make u take the $17 taxi.] Ideal location, great Chinese on the corner, Taysan, but it's kinda shabby.

Mold in the room... literally everywhere. There's a leak in the bathroom. The bar next door plays music until 4 am. People are talking loudly in the lounge and/or slamming their door. Musky/mold smell. Bed bugs! My fiance and I had bites all over!!! There's no breakfast. Wifi is okay. Only thing that makes this hotel worth it is the location. Otherwise, STAY AWAY! Not worth your money.

Room looks nothing like the pictures. I didn't expect a 5 star hotel for the price but I at least expected decent. The power went out for half of the day and the staff offered no comfort about it. The other hotels and restaurants around there still had power. When I inquired about when the power would come back up they didn't know which I understand they didn't have a time but as I would come back periodically to check if it was back up I guess the gentleman there got tired of me asking and I was told that he doesn't know but I can just go to another hotel. So when I asked if I could receive a refund for that day and on I was told no.

Hotel was what expected. Not sure if we would stay there again. Need this sentence to fill the 50 character count. :)

The hotel is on the beach. Places to eat is all over the place including the hotel. CVS is across the street Walgreen is on the same block as the hotel but across the street. Nice and cheap. Food is awesome. I wish airfare would be cheaper like below $300.00 so that I can go more often and maybe do a 2 night stay in Saint Thomas which is 30 minutes away.

Had a great time beach a few feet from hotel, walk a half a block every and anything you want is available, very trendy spot there's something for everyone even people on a budget. This hotel is small and not lavished but but clean and affordable.......Ralph and Edwin that work there are very helpful but Don eat ate the resturante connected to hotel expensive and not appetizing! Will definitely go again!!!!!!!

It is a budget hotel right by the beach. Its everything I expected it to be, the location was great to see nightlife and also go to the beach during the day. We booked a double bed but got 2 twins. The staff was nice though.

not a lot of perks, but the rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, and the location is awesome. and the price is fantastic!!

hotel was just average but clean enough. all about the location - can see the ocean at the end of the block from the front door!

I'm a military stationed in VA. Although I'm also from Puerto Rico, I book here to scape from friends and love ones calling me and visiting me at my relatives. I just wanted to enjoy the beach for couple days, no cellphone, no emails, no text messages... only me and my wife. A tiny hiccup happened when we were accommodated in a smaller room instead a bigger one. When the bigger bedroom was ready they moved my luggage to the new room, and accommodated everything in the same position... shaving kit in the bathroom, running shoes under the bed, jeans and shirt on the bed, snacks and drinks on the desk. Everything in the same position I had'em in the other room. There is no parking for guest in the hotel. Parking is on the street and you have me make sure you move your car before 7am. Police write tickets for park in the taxi area, which is most of the area.

This hotel was great. The only negative was that since I booked for two people we got one double bed. I was traveling with my granddaughter who is 16. When we arrived, it was late so we waited til the next day to speak to them about getting two beds. The hotel was booked but they switched us two days later. The staff was great as well. Everyone was very helpful, pleasant and polite. One of our tours was cancelled due to rain and they offered to rebook it for us but we had others booked and decided not to bother. The beach was literally steps from the front door. The breakfast that was included was not much but it was do-able. There were other places to have breakfast within walking distance and you could get something hot at the hotel. My granddaughter had homework to do while we were there and there were many places to sit and do it. There was even a rooftop we used in the evening. All our tours picked us up at the Marriott which is right next door. We felt that we had all the conveniences without all the costs of a large hotel. Condado beach area is very nice and buses are at the corner of the street. They will take you to old San Juan for 75 cents. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel was clean and we got fresh towels daily. They also had towels to go to the beach.

We go back year after year. It's the location we love. Right next to the Marriott hotel, steps from the beach, walking distance to so much! We never spend much time in the room. Keep hoping to find the roof area redone one of these years! Have sent many friends and co-workers to this hotel and they all come back happy!

Great location about 20 feet from Condado beach, simple but comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Parking for check in was a bit difficult on the street but they have a deal with the parking garage across the street for $18 per day. Park there first and they will validate the ticket.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Staff was very helpful and you are seconds from the beach. Power went out but that was not the hotel's fault. Rooftop view is lovely. Location can't be beat :)
