Rincon Beach Resort

Went for a weekend to enjoy one of the best town in Puerto Rico at a great location the Rincon Beach.

The only bad thing I can say about this resort is that the rooms are outdated. If we can have the mirrors, lights and headboards updated and made more modern, this resort would be perfect. A full length mirror would be great. It is very kid friendly. My daughter just loved everything about it. Breakfast was good, lunch was good and dinner was great. The pools and hot tub were cozy and clean. The staff was great. I read previous reviews that mentioned bugs in the rooms, a lot of mosquitoes, poor house keeping, etc and I honestly had none of these problems. However, I am grateful for those reviews because I kinda went in there expecting the worst and to possibly be upset and it was the total opposite.

The hotel was ideally located to a beach. The pool area and lounge chairs on the beach were plentiful and well-maintained. The staff was friendly (especially at the bars). We were unhappy with our first room as we requested a king-sized bed and they gave us a queen (and a small one at that). Since my husband was at the hotel on business and his company paid for the room, we decided to pay for an upgrade to a junior suite.

The room was very old, furniture was in very bad condition, it was smelly (humidity), the lamps had mold around. I did not receive the room that I was expecting (for that price). We are going on a weekend vacation next month to the same area, but made reservations in another hotel.

Pristine beach with calm water. The waves are tiny and break right at your feet. There is no fighting the surf as you're waist deep in water. Wonderful place to relax. Beautiful pool, good food and drinks. The view from our room was half obstructed by palm trees, but seriously, coming from up north, I can't complain about having to look at the ocean and palm trees. Quiet, beautiful, friendly, relaxing.

While staying at the resort we were lucky enough to experience a hotel wide hot water shortage. This occurred on the second day we were there. Since the water wasn't working for hours on end my boyfriend and I missed our reservations we had had and were very unhappy. After complaining to guest services and requesting a refund we were gifted $100 in food and drink credit by the hotel manager. Bravo to that manager for righting the hotels wrongs. Other than that mishap my boyfriend and I absolutely loved the resort and are planning another visit soon with our entire family.

The check-in process was smooth although we stood in line for quite a while. The facilities are clean and the atmosphere is very relaxing. The staff are very friendly and customer service oriented. We enjoyed our stay very much and will recommend it to all our friends.

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel staff was very friendly especially Linda at the pool restaurant her help and courtesy was appreciated. Antonio at the lobby bar paid close attention to what was needed, and was extremely helpful for suggesting a restaurant for dinner. He was also very kind and polite. The ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful and kind. There was also another woman who worked at the hotel as a waitress can't remember her name but she was extremely gracious and helpful. Over all I would rate the hotel as very good. Allthe staff was great can't say one thing negative about the staff. My only suggestion would be that they would improve the ventilation in the rooms. I am a person who does not speak Spanish As their native language? I felt extremely comfortable and never felt left out or dismissed I would highly recommend this hotel to others,

Nice place to stay and relax for a weekend....!!.. the bar by the pool was closed everyday on my stay.. it looks like was out of bussiness should improve that...

Went for 4 nights in a junior suite. The view from the awesome attached patio was simply amazing. The beach itself was very good. If you walk to the left (south) past the property the completely undeveloped beach gets even better, straight out of central casting. Property is very close to the A2 highway providing easy access to rest of island. I thoroughly enjoyed Brasas, the hotel restaurant for breakfast and tapas. Despite being on a somewhat major road the property feels remote. Need to rent a car though. I can't imagine how you could get by without one. Went down to Cabo Rojo ( once to lighthouse/ playauelita and once to Combate) in order to escape PM clouds and rain at resort. It seriously takes an hour to get from essentially a rainforest to a sunny near desert. Weather (August) was amazing in AM at resort.

Poor maintenance of the gardens. no security services

The hotel experience is overall very good. I definitely recommend it

beach is great, beautiful pools. but pack the bug spray!

The location and property was beautiful but the room was below average and very outdated. Hotel WIFI only worked one day of my stay for a few hours. Ice machine didnt even work had to go to the bar. No room service in the hotel and the breakfast in the dining room was below average for the price. Would not stay here again

The hotel was quiet but further from the main beach than expected. It was quaint but seemed kind of old and not updated, The room was clean and the staff was friendly but there were no real onsite amenities. Bar and restaurant also seemed expensive.

We really enjoyed the location. Mountains one side and beach on other. You ask for a better location. From the moment we arrived the staff was great. The food was great and the bartender was very friendly. We had a great stay and will go back again for sure. Thanks for making me have a wonderful birthday. Richard and Carolyn

My sister and I decided to stayed here to celebrate our birthday. We stayed with our mother and my son. The hotel meet our expectations. The decor is fantastic and also all the beautiful trees make you feel so relax. The pool was always very clean and very warm. Hotel staff is very friendly. Also, the beach is just right there! That's what I liked the most, that the beach was there (just steps from the pool). Also there are plenty beach chairs for you to use. The rooms was really nice and I loved that it had a balcony. I ate my breakfast right there every morning. The only complaint will be the bathtub pain was chipped off. Bathroom was clean but the bathtub needed to have that paint coating taken care. Also, internet service was slow. Overall it was a great experience and I will love to go back to this hotel.

Hotel stay was amazing everyone was friendly the place was awesome

This is a great hotel-- wonderful staff, good restaurant, great beach and pool for sunning and swimming. The hotel is located a bit outside of Rincon, so a car is pretty much a must, unless you want to just sit at the beach for the entirety of your visit. The restaurant has great food, but it is a little pricey if you are there as a family. We ended up with a suite (a wonderful upgrade) which gave us a kitchen. That was definitely a plus. Wifi really only works well in the lobby. There is no business center to print out boarding passes. If you are looking for a place to both vacation and work, this probably isn't your ideal. On the other hand, if you want a relaxing experience, this is definitely it. Slight downsides: no hairdryer in the room and a loud bar across the street (this was only a problem for about an hour of our week-long stay). On the upside, you are right on the beach and have a great staff who is super helpful in making your stay great.

We had a great time, staff was friendly. Pool and beach were very nice.

Hi carlos Thank you for your review. During low season the bar works from the pelican grill in the left side of the pool.
