great breakfast , exellent service.room very clean

The hotel is very nice, but we did not think it was a good value. There are lots of food choices, but no regional food at all, and very poor overall value since everything is very expensive. We picked this hotel because it has its own golf course, so it minimized travel time to golf. We played twice during our four days here. The rental clubs were terrible, not even clean. The grips on some of the clubs were made of a type of cloth, and were unraveling. The course setting is very nice, with lots of water, and reasonably wide fairways. No sand in the traps at all, so the traps were not very pleasing visually, and hitting out of them completely different than regular sand. Nice used clubs are so inexpensive, it was hard to understand why they didn't put more effort into maintaining or upgrading the equipment. Overall, if what you want is overpriced American fare, expensive alcohol, convenience to meals, and to be insulated from the region, this hotel might be acceptable for you

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The bar would stay open late just so you won't feel rushed. The food was okay, not many options outside of the resort. Other guest were very friendly and nice.

Excellent hotel and facilities. Many things to do.

Tried to cancel one day of my trip. With over 48hrs notice. No refund.and our car got hit in the parking lot. Good for older people. Not a younger crowd. Plus there was yard happening every morning from 830-9. Making it impossible to sleep in.

Enjoy stay during quiet time in resort. The only issue was that I found some of our small tables dirty...drink marks. Otherwise, great view of ocean.

This was an awesome choice to stay. The grounds are beautiful!! Room is spacious, with central air conditioning. A coffee pot and microwave were included. The only issue we had was that there were not enough bath towels or wash cloths. Also, it stormed during the night and the power went out. Bring a flashlight just in case this happens!

For the price I expected much more. Overall, comfortable stay, but I had higher expectations. My luggage arrived to my room after calling the lobby and asking where my luggage was (after spending two hours in the pool). On a rainy day I decided to take the kids to the arcade and that was a disaster. The machines could definitely use some attention. After the machine taking the money and not issuing credits we decided to go to the mall.

We loved the days we passed there. It is a very beautiful hotel and the staff was very nice...the swimming pool and the jacuzzi were perfect for our relaxation. The food was delicious . My wife and I take their bicycles for a ride and then we played in its minigolf. It was a perfect anniversary vacation.

Great hotel. The staff is super. Breakfast and drinks are delicious.

It was a nice getaway! The hotel was clean and updated. The reception personnel were attentive.

Very good service, location provide fast accesss to many areas of Ponce. Hotel in very clean and well kept. Good food and beautifull areas to walk or just be calm.

I am from PR and as I've been living in the us for more than a year now, I wanted to show my fiance, who was born in the US, different areas of the island. We decided to stay in this hotel as it will help us to enjoy the south fora longer time. After visiting La Guancha, 2-5 minutes away from the hotel, we wanted to have some more drinks at the hotel, so we decided to sit at the bar near the pool area. We had some drinks made with local rum and also, my fiance enjoyed some desserts as well. Room was very comfortable and clean. We didn't went to the pool. Hotel has a casino, not too big but enough to have a good time.

It was a pleasant experience. The running path needs a bit of work not very well marked around the property but beach access was great. The kids had a blast at the pools.

It.s good for conferences and business trip. The staff is excellent. I loved.

We have traveled around Puerto Rico and stayed in many places. The Hilton Resort in Ponce has become our favorite destination. Everything is good here: the location, the rooms, the activities, the amenities, the food, the maintenance, and particularly, the staff. Some tips: If you swim in the ocean, go 100 feet to the right of the beach gate before going into the water. The bottom in front of the gate is rocky. 100 feet to the right, the bottom is hard sand all the way to the end of the swimming area. About 3 miles north of the resort, in Ponce, there is a shopping mall with major department stores and movie theaters. North of Ponce, there is an archeological site with artifacts dating back more than 2000 years. Tours are given daily, except Mondays. Check with the concierge for details.

We enjoyed our time spent at the hotel and the amenities it had to offer. The staff was great. The service at the bar by the pool was slow. It took almost two hours to order, get our food, and then get the check. Other than that everything was great. We wish we would have spent a few more days here.

All in all I had a great stay in this hotel the pool is amazing the property was huge and the food was good. If I had to say anything negative one of them was a huge waterbug outside the room which we passed several times over the course of the day and I'm sure guests and employees saw it. It wasn't until we called that they removed it. Another negative was hundreds and hundreds of ants in the room they kept coming and coming and we left no food exposed at all but they still raised the bar table. I'm sure there isn't really much that can be done given location. Wish there was some way to keep them at bay though

3 other friends and I decided to stay at the hilton in ponce and it was a very good decision. Most people like to travel to San Juan but ponce is a lot less crowded and we wanted to avoid touristy places. Overall the resort was clean, everyone was super nice, and although they only served typical American food it wasn't bad. I do recommend renting a car and exploring the city. There's cheaper places to go eat and the food is actually Puerto Rican unlike at the resort. Other than that the drinks at the resort are pretty cheap and not half bad. Pool area was the best area, and the beach sucked. Rent a car and travel the island, you'll find better beaches then in ponce. If your not a beach lover then this resort is the perfect place for you. Oh and although they say you have to pay some extra fee to use all the amenities it looks like they forgot to charge that for me and I only had to pay for one day parking, front desk guy really hooked us up lol.

The Hilton Ponce was a beautiful hotel. Super comfortable beds, clean rooms with a balcony overlooking the pool. The pool area was great with outdoor beds and oversize chairs to lounge on. No swim up bar though. They also have other activities available (bikes to rent, mini golf, tennis, etc). The major downfall for my husband and I was the beach. It looks beautiful from afar, however it wasn't much of a swimming beach. There was no one swimming in the water the entire time we were there and that's what we came for. The public beach near by (Playa Ponce) was not nice as well. When we got there there was no beach at all due to high tide and the water was mucky. Not the crystal clear Caribbean waters you would expect. Also the city of Ponce seemed to be a bit of a ghost town. So overall great hotel, however in my mind not the best location. If you are looking to lounge by a pool then I would recommend. If you are looking for a beach I would go to Luquillo or Isla Verde.
