Nice modern Hotel and facilities. Horrible customer service. Room service is a 45 minutes wait. No late (12:00pm) check out availability. (We were a five older, two handicapped, four rooms family gathering) Beach is no sand, rocky, will cut your feet and dangerous. Food outside room is expensive and very bad. A three meat sandwich is not toasted, almost no meat and too pricey.

TV connections are poor. Personnel are not well informed about events that are occuring.

The staff went out of their way to make our stay excellent. The building and grounds are kept up very well. The restaurants are convenient though one of them is closed currently, leaving a choice of the buffet, the poolside bar and cafe, and a Chinese restaurant by the golf course. The beach has signs still of destruction from the hurricane and they could use more sand out there; the palm roots are exposed to about three feet under where the ground used to cover. But it’s still a lovely beach albeit a short walk from gate to water with limited space for lounge chairs. When we stayed, it wasn’t fully booked, so getting a spot was easy as most people opted for poolside chairs by the nice pool. I could see it maybe being an issue if the hotel were full. We really liked the atmosphere because it had a lot to offer and wasn’t stuffy or full of entitled guests like some upscale places I’ve stayed at.
Was misdirected to our room by three different staff members (manager, 2 housekeepers). Once in room, room was dirty with stains on the bathroom door and walls. Air conditioner vent had mold stains around it and peeling paint. Handle was missing from sliding door. The worst was a large ANT INFESTATION that appeared in our bathtub. Maintenance sprayed Raid, which gave us headaches and ruined our New Years Eve. Later we found ants trailing on the floor in the room, and on our bed. Staff was ambivalent and did not seem to care much. After we complained, they did comp our New Years tickets (as we did not go), but only comped a meager $160 for our troubles. I think they should have comped a couple of nights. WILL NOT be returning to this hotel!
Areas where clean and neat, access to the beach, staff was vert helpfull.
We have stayed here before and had a much better experience the last time. This time we payed much more to stay and the experience was dissapointing for how much we payed to stay there. Let’s start with the pool. The pool was not relaxing at all. It was full of screaming kids until 10pm, they let people play different Bose speakers at the same time so you had people with 3 different kinds of loud music like that was a public beach, my husband was not able to get service at the pool and when he went to the bar to order was ignored. Imagine if staff was not serving us at the pool much less they cared about any behavior there. The screams of the kids in the pool could be heard in our room until the pool was closed. Kids were throwing inflatable balls on your face every 10 seconds. Also, my room service order was wrong but I was not going to wait another hour to get served. We never received regular room service the 3 days we were there. So different than the previous hotel we didn’t get clean towels, bed made or more products. The quality of the toiletries was awful and the small of the body lotion was terrible. This is a resort, we paid $250 plus. Lastly, they changed the restaurant that used to have delicious food, now is a buffet. You have to pay for everything in the hotel including parking…We will not be staying there ever again.
Need more choices for dining and update the connections for internet and tv.
