We stayed 4 nights we had to pay an extra 100 dollars for resort fees. I think that was bs .will never stay there again but over all the hotel was nice . Don't order room service tax is high meal said 9 dollars after tax I paid 17.89

It was a nice place, close to everything. I had a great experience.

The staff was beyond friendly, they accommodated all guest in such a pleasant manner. The rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable.

Much better than i anticipated. Everything was perfect

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff and great amenities.

I love that the pool and jacuzzi is 24 hours! The restaurant downstairs was delicious, great staff, great service at the beach! No complaints and I would absolutely return!

This was a great place to stay. Rooms are super clean. There's a pool, gym, bar, restaurant, chocolate store, laundry room, and it's close to the beach. The hotel will actually bring you to and from the beach. They'll even deliver room service to the beach!! Do yourself a favor and get the valet parking, it's like 20 bucks a day but it's worth it. There is no parking in San Juan and everyone drives crazy. Everyone at the hotel spoke English and will answer any question you throw at them from nightlife to tourist attractions. I actually want to move to PR and work at this hotel because everyone was just having a great time. Peter at the front desk was great. There's a supermarket across the street, and lots of great food & culture around the corner on Calle Loiza. My only complaint was that I upgraded to a King size room from a queen size and I thought that room came with a private entrance but no cigar. The ad was a little misleading. Other than that, great stay.

Pros: The Hotel was great, staff was friendly, rooms were clean. Cons: The room we expected should had been able to accommodate 3 adult men. We were expecting 2 beds and a coach but instead got 2 a room with just 2 beds. They only reason we did not complain was because the room was clean and we spent very little time there. Another down fall was the daily charge of parking. Parking should be free.

The staff takes care on everything to make your stay wonderful. Front 24 Hours supermarket, walk distance Walgreens, beach, restaurants, Hospital, museum, everything. Excellent place to stay with the family, or work.

Great staff, modern rooms, nice lobby and bar/area, great location close to the beach and across from grocery store. Convenient location to restaurants and a quick taxi ride to old San Juan.

Our family (2 adults, 2 kids) really liked our stay with DoubleTree. The hotel is comfortable, in a great location and it offers a lot of great perks (shuttle to the beach, beach with lounge chairs and beach umbrellas, bikes for rides, great patio with a pool, fresh cookies). Staff was super nice and helpful. Room was clean. Price was right. The only downside was the size of the room which was a bit tight for two adults and two kids. However, it was only a small wrinkle on an overall great experience.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Great amenities and friendly staff. Only down side for me was no complimentary breakfast but it's okay because there's a good amount of low cost food options in the area that are good. Overall great stay and would recommend

Beautiful hotel and very family friendly. The pool was amazing. Our bell hop Antonio was so friendly and extremely helpful.

Pros: -helpful and friendly staff -pool lounge area, sprawling, not crowded and great for families (even hammocks for relaxing) -rooms with comfortable Murphy beds for extra bedding, microwaves and mini fridges -grocery store across the street with everything you need -convenient shuttle to uncrowded beach (takes 2 min to get there) and they provide towels, umbrellas, loungers -self-service laundry!! -good restaurants and cafes within walking or short drive away -8 min drive to old San Juan Cons: - the breakfast buffet could be a little bettter for the price, although it's a few bucks cheaper than other hotels and kids are free -the rooms are smaller than we expected. Pretty sure the square footage described on orbitz is not correct, BUT sleeping in a Murphy bed instead of a fold out couch is a huge plus. We also had a crib in the room so it felt cramped. -coffee is not good at the hotel cafe and Starbucks is generally not the best. Almost all the local cafes have exceptional coffee and espresso. Go to them!! -The hotel has bug spray at the valet station. Recommend going to the grocery store right away to get a can of bug spray. If you are staying in a room with patio or balcony, spray outside the door to deter mosquitos from coming in. -rooms are a little dated but clean and well maintained

We got to the hotel early but they took our bags (and our friend's bags that were flying out that day) and took us by shuttle to a beautiful beach several blocks away. The chairs, umbrellas, towels are all included in the resort fee and you can also order food and drinks to be delivered to the beach. It was so relaxing and then the shuttle picked us up when we were ready to go back & we got our room key. The room was modern and clean and we just walked around the block to a great local restaurant. We sat around the pool and just enjoyed the area and the weather. It was the perfect end to our great vacation and I would definitely stay again. The staff was awesome. The only bad thing was the wake up call for 5 AM was not received until 5:20 but luckily I was already up because we needed to get to the airport. The cabs are right there so it was all OK.

We had a nice experience here. It was in an ideal location and being taken to the beach via golf cart made everything super easy. All the staff were helpful and gave good advice about what to see and do and where to eat. Felt very welcoming for kids, but not overrun by families either.

The room was very small, small not friendly , paid over $200 in off season. Had to pay $20 extra for lackluster breakfast. Would not stay here again.

Location is good for business and short trips as its near Condado but far from beaches. The lobby smelled weird however rooms were clean and comfortable. At 2am there was not hotel staff to be found in the lobby. Oh and there's no night entertainment. Overall, a good experience.

Excellent hotel, very quiet, clean, centered, near to convenient stores, beach, and restaurants.

Only "bad" experience was 2 days of our hotel stay the room smelled of cigarette smoke. Took a day and a half for staff to investigate. Smoke was coming from another guest's room into our bathroom vent. Staff apologized and comped breakfast.
