The staff made me feel very welcomed and as if i was part of their family. Planning on returning with my niece next summer. Great experience overall. Especially loved the boutique located in the back , super cute clothes.

Short walk to the beach, Ocean Playa is about 2 blocks down the street (there are vendors there) or there's a smaller beach a few steps from the gate of the property. This is not a hotel, it's a guest house and you get so much more than at a hotel. Beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, toys, bikes, snorkel gear, sunblock, toiletries, games, and more are provided for use. The room has a kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, etc.) and refrigerator if you're traveling with some picky eaters who won't try new things. There's a little cafe area towards the back of the patio with snacks, drinks, coffee, tea, a water cooler to fill your bottles, all free! Noyda is great and always available. I'd recommend a rental car if you stay here (locals drive crazy - red lights are optional? and they don't wait to cut thru traffic and make a left turn in front of you, be prepared). If you want to see more of Puerto Rico, it's not within walking distance of the tourist areas of Old San Juan - probably about 4-5 miles away. I wouldn't recommend riding a bike there unless you're comfortable heading thru some barrios to get there. It's a great location if you want to spend the majority of your time on the beach away from the crowds in Old San Juan. My best advice is to use extra, extra sunblock! Coming from someone who never burns, I burned!

Thank you Amy for your review. We appreciate your review. Unlike the big resorts, we prefer a personal connection and frequently have repeat guests that become truly like family. We hope to see you again! Sincerely, Rob and Francis
