Ive requested a rate discount. Room shower could not be shut down to the point that water was coming out through the closet. Had a buss. Event and was late. Next morning had no water for shower. Brushed my teeth with a bottle of water that I always carry. The location is exellent and the facility has a beautiful set up but not enough personnel.
I had a great experience. It was walking distants to the beach and food. Close to the airport too.
Got to the hotel a day late because of hurricane and they upgraded the room to a suite!! Bonus win! Beautiful two bedroom suite. Love the old style feel with actual keys. Felt like I was staying in a small apartment as a resident instead of a tourist in a hotel.
Close to the beach and restaurants. Loved it. Would recommend it to anyone.
was located in a bad part of town. If you rent a car you're out of luck, hotel does not have a parking lot. You have to compete with tenants in the area for parking spaces. Most streets were one way and yellow lined for no parking.
It was great! Everyone was nice and location was good!
The hotel was aesthetically beautiful and that is the best thing I can say. I arrived after midnight from all day travel and was exhausted. I had booked the reservation online and despite showing the clerk my email receipt he insisted he had not received confirmation. I was made to wait over 2 hours. The clerk did not help me by calling the booking agent until I insisted, but felt free to take frequent smoke breaks. He said he wished that his hotel would be removed from online booking sights. I guess his poor service was an attempt to get his wish. When I finally got my room the hot water didn't work. Good looking hotel, bad infrastructure and bad service.
Beautiful and perfect place for couples to get away from all distractions. Very serene private and secured. Perfect size pool and tiki bar. The beach is walking distances. The only two things we did not like was small bathroom, and unable to connect to the internet.
hotel was recommended to me by my daughter who stood at the sister hotel with her husband. I am so glad we decided to stay here. Staff was beyond helpful & so nice, they ALWAYS made sure we had our coffee in the am and something to do during the day. Can't wait to go back !!
Great place, right near the beach and good restaurants, everyone was extremely friendly. Would definitely book again
There are no reason to go back again. The location is good, but nothing else. They need to improve the rooms: the bathroom has no door, uncomfortable beds, etc. and the staff...nothing good to say. In conclusion: bad experience. No recommend!
Only problem it has no parking. Great hotel, location and staff.
The location is perfect. It's a block from the beach and within walking distance to good bars and restaurants. It's also affordable, so keep that in mind with your expectations, you are getting location with this place as opposed to lots of amenities.
Have stayed 5 prev. times as live in Puerto Rico. Like it for price.
We got back yesterday and in all honesty, couldn't ask for anything better in a hotel. The hotel felt more like a cabana. As you walked through the open air architecture to your room, there are trees and plants to your left and right, opening up to an outdoor bar. The pool is small, but not in a bad way. Not to mention who goes to Puerto Rico to hang out at the pool when the beach is 2 blocks away. That said, it's comfortable, with beach chairs at the far end. My girlfriend and I spent a couple of nights out there at 2am under the stars swimming about with Led Zeppelin playing through the computer speakers. At night, there are multi-colored lights that fall on the property from an upper patio just above the pool giving an epic feel to the premises. The entire premises is also enclosed, making you feel elsewhere from the streets. It's two blocks from Condado beach. My girlfriend and I literally walked there. The staff was great, the rooms was totally clean - we had no complaints. I'd stay there again without reservations.
Fantastic claudio, johnny, calvin and the rest of the staff could not have been more helpfull or gracious went out of there way to make us VERY.COMFTERBLE.The pool, sundeck, and bar were great.. couple minute walk to nice beach. Can't wait to go back august 2015...also all kind of local restaurants walking distance....see you all then you to popo!!
When we arrived we were not able yo check in since there was no system. The front desk gave us a room anyways but this one had sand on the sheets and the shower was awful. The room had mosquitos in it. The pool was nice and warm since it was always hot in PR. It was empty most of the times which is good to have some private time. The beach was on block away which was nice and you could use the jacuzzi from their sister hotel one block away.
The location was perfect and the staff was very helpful to finding restaurant and attraction recommendations. It was a small intimate hotel. Only drawback were that the rooms were kind of small. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Great location one block from a quiet and beautiful beach, and one block from hip Loiza Street for good food and shopping, etc. The bi-lingual staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nothing fancy, but it didn't need to be because the hotel itself is so charming. The outdoor bar was a little weird in that it rarely seemed staffed or open.
A nice, quaint little place. The room was spacious with a bed big enough for FOUR and my own private terrace. However, if you have much luggage,beware...NO ELEVATOR! Thankfully the desk clerk carried my HEAVY bags up and downstairs for me. If you want to eat you have to either walk down the street to the sister hotel or walk/cab further into Condado. Staff was AWESOME!!
