This place is ok but not great. The hotel staff are very forgetful and there's not much activity. It seems to be a pick up place for people who want to get with someone without commitment. All the male staff trying to get a visa out of DR, so they cater to the white females more. Also the beds are not comfortable at all. Feels like sleeping on bricks. If you want a quick place to stay and you can Overcome these issues, then this is the place for you. P. S. The food is horrible!
I know some people like this kind of place, but it was awful for us. When we got there, there was no electricity in our unit. That took about an hour to fix. All of the woodwork was covered with some kind of oil, so every time you touched the door or molding you had to wipe your hands. My key broke in the lock, so I was locked out of my unit, and part of the wall fell off in my daughter's unit. Some of the food was OK. Breakfast was definitely passable. But at dinner, the Roast Beef was literally like leather - completely inedible. And the rice pudding my daughters got had a fly in it. Beyond this, of course, there is just what the place *is*. A walled-off beach and pool with no internet (none in the rooms, and the internet in the lobby didn't work at all) and no interaction with the Dominican Republic. But that is how it was designed - I understand many people like that. But the oily walls, insects in food, no electricity -- that was over the top!
Staff were excellent. Food was great! Rooms were not 3 star. Yet the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked but not well. The beach is beautiful and the whole resort was nice. Wifi only works in one area. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
It had everything an all inclusive resort would have for a lesser price. It was really nice, the staff is very engertic and pleasing, the acitivites are funny to watch as well as fun to participate it, the resort is very comfortable. Being that it is a lesser price, the quality is also lesser. This being food quality, amenities in rooms, and water down drinks
Very nice vacation the wifi no good no wifi in the room, food was great the mini bar in the room was nice too.
When we first arrived we were put in a different part of the hotel than what we were told when we booked the air conditioning broke in our room and was broken all week long the wifi would only work once a day In the lobby and was terrible other resorts have wifi all over the resort and all day the front desk staff was rude and spoke about us in Spanish when we were able to understand what they were saying the food was terrible the only positive part about our trip was soto and the other bartenders they were friendly and welcoming
Very good Hotel for the price. Its not a 5 star but have good food, open bar and friendly staff.
This was one of the best trips ever. The hotel is nice. Food was good. Deserts could have been better. The only real negative about hotel is the bed and pillows. You have to do waterfall trip, so amazing! !
The hotel was a great experience. The staff was wonderful and made our time very enjoyable. Only complaints were that the beds were pretty hard and the room smelled musty through the entire stay. Would go back if we had the opportunity.
Loved the mini bar inside the hotel. Perk if you stay at this location you still have access to the other resort. The staff is very helpful. Only downside was the limited wifi.
Food was ok, but entertaiment should improve..location was nice but ac in tje room was not that cold enought
have been here a few times and never a disappointment. food, entertainment and staff are all excellent. a.c in rooms could be better as well as the very soft and dated beds but still very enjoyable
I would say you get a good value for the prince. Do not expect the top of the line food or service, if you do not have sky high expectations you will enjoy yourself. It is a well maintained hotel with needed amenities.
great resort with great food. We stayed for 1 night and it was spectacular. The entertainment was over the top.
It was a great getaway. It was just right had a great time
Didnt want it to end everthing was wonderful food drinks and attention
MY NAME IS WILLIAM B. WHEN ME AND MY WIFE ARRIVED AT THE HOTEL ON 08/01/2014 I ASKED FOR THE RESTAURANT TO HAVE DINNER AND THE GIRL AT THE RECEPTION TOLD ME THAT I NEED A RESERVATION. I ASKED IF SHE CAN TELL ME WHERE TO DO IT AND HER ANSWER WAS THAT THE RESERVATION WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MADE AT SEVEN IN THE MORNING. I TOLD HER AT THAT TIME WE WERE AT THE AIRPORT IN NEW JERSEY HER ANSWER WAS SORRY BUT YOU GUYS CANNOT EAT. SO WE WALK AROUND AND SPOKE WITH OTHER GUEST IN THE RESORT AND THEY EXPLAINED THAT THERE WAS ANOTHER RESTAURANT THAT WE DIDNT NEED RESERVATIONS FOR, WHICH IS NOT AN OPTION THAT WAS GIVEN TO US AT THE FRONT DESK.THIS WAS JUST THE BEGINING. WHEN WE GOT TO OUR ROOM, THE MINI BAR WAS EMPTY AND STAYED LIKE THAT FOR FOUR DAYS. FOR THOSE FOUR DAYS WE ASKED FOR WATER AT THE FROM DESK AND THEIR ANSWER WAS THAT WE CANNOT GIVE YOU WATER, YOU HAVE TO GO TO YOUR ROOM AND WAIT. THE FOOD THAT THEY SERVE AT THE BUFFET FOR BREAKFAST,LUNCH AND DINNER WAS THE SAME FOR THE ENTIRE EIGHT DAYS THAT WE SPENT AT THAT HOTEL. WE ALSO FOUND ON TWO SEPARATE OCCASIONS TWO BIG ROACHES ONE ON THE BED AND ONE IN THE CLOSET. WE HAVE A VIDEO. WHEN WE CALLED THE FRONT DESK TO COMPLAIN THEY SAID THAT THEY WILL SEND SOMEONE BUT NOONE CAME AND WE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES BUT NOONE ANSWERED. WE WERE LOOKING FOWARD TO RELAXING NOT STRESSING. THE RESORT DOES NOT MEET THE STANDARDS AND THE STAFF WAS VERY, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL,VERY POOR MANAGMENT. PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Hotel was average the food was decent nothing great. The beach is beatiful and the staff was very nice. The hotel had a lot of local people staying when we were there and they seem to have a problem with tourists. The majority of the Dominicans staying when we were there were extremely rude.Other than that decent hotel with a great beach.
stay here for few days on april and like it. planning on going back at end of June. entertainment is the only downfall but i really wasn't in the mood for some noise. just relaxation.
This was my 1st at this hotel and I can not wait to book another trip!!! Everything was great! Good was great, everything was near by and the staff was excellent.
