The beach, marina and commercial area of Puerto Aventuras is between 10 and 15 minutes by foot from the villa. At the same time, it is a perfect home base to enjoy the Riviera Maya, including day trips to Playa del Carmen, the ancient Mayan ruins in Tulum, a gorgeous boat trip to Sian Kaan or many of the other activities the Riviera Maya has to offer.

For such a grand, impressive home, the interior design is somewhat dated with happy-go-lucky furniture making it great for families or large groups.
Music is permitted until 10 pm.
There is a charge for pool heating (though it is rarely needed) and must be requested in advance.  
No guest access to the kitchen as it is for staff use and where the chef will prepare all your meals. A fridge is available for guests’ use.
Shifting seasonal currents and weather patterns can cause an unpredictable influx of seaweed on the beaches in this region, most typically from May to October.
