Overall my stay was fine. Good location in order to be between Pueblo and Canon City for adventure purposes. My only complaint was that someone tried to enter the room in the morning while we were getting ready for the day. Thankfully we had the door latch locked as well because they didn't even knock or anything. Just used the key card and tried to open the door. We looked out into the hall but didn't see who it was however did see a staff member a few minutes later go into another room. It left me with an unsettled feeling that someone would try to just enter the room without knocking while I'm getting dressed.

Had to change my reservation at the last minute and they were really good about not charging me any fees. They are the closest hotel to the lake and have boat/RV/Tractor trailer parking with electrical hook-ups. Good breakfast and about a block from Wal-Mart, in case you forgot something. Better than most Econo lodges I have seen.

I gave this rating because if I am paying over $100 to stay at your location. We shouldn't be punished for others wrong doing. I asked for a extra blanket and explain that I just had surgery and it requires me to use 2 ice machines for medical condition. I was told first that they did not have enough, then when I went to speak with someone the following morning I was told something totally different and they will not give me the blanket because people steal things and to use the the heat in the room. I felt that was wrong because everyone doesn't feel cold at the same time I do. That is why you have credit cards on file, It's very easy to keep count of what is gong in out that room when guest call and ask for things. If you give extra items note it on there account and if it is not counted for at the time of check out you can use the card you asked me for at the time of check in for security deposit. I felt prejudge even though they said it's not me it is some else actions. I never thought I have to bring extra blankets and towels because they don't give extras. I wish I would have know this before I would have booked this hotel because I would have never choose you. The room was also very stuffy and we had to keep the air on, there was bugs in the tub and that sucks so sponge bath was the best option. The man at the front desk was the only real nice one he spoke with us when he seen my family and I. Everyone else didn't speak back when my 10 year old child spoke

We spent three nights. The area was fairly quiet and the rooms were nice and fresh each afternoon when we returned to the room. The rates were good and it was a good value. The staff was foreign and not sure they understood how everything worked. They couldn't give me a receipt when I checked out. Overall it was a good stay.

One of main intentions for coming to Durango was to ride the scenic railroad from Durango to Silverton. What a wonderful experience, with breath taking views ever where you turn. The hotel was very clean, and the front desk staff extremely helpful. We took advantage of the beautiful pool and hot tub. The only negative there was that the hot tub was had lots of foam, but we used it at the very end of the day. There is the beautiful Annus River running right behind the hotel and the train and downtown area were within walking distance, of which we took advantage. The town is a bustling town with tons of wonderful old western feel to it! Live music was everywhere, horse drawn carriage rides running running through the streets and mountains surround you. We drove the million dollar highway which was breath taking! A great time for our family!

Very clean and quiet. Friendly staff and clean. I would go there again because it was a mellow area.

We got in late so we didn't use any of the amenities...pretty much just slept there.... but the beds were clean and comfortable.

We were just looking nice place to stay on a quick siteseeing tour and found a real gem! Clean, organized, very well maintained, frendly place. Nice prairie sunset, but close to all we needed. Great Cont. b-fast. Kudos to all the staff!

Hotel was close to my families home. Breakfast was good for the type being served. Service was good.

The room was clean and the bed was great, at times it is difficult to sleep the first night but the bed was very comfortable.

Very clean hotel, great staff, hot tub/pool was one of the best, as far as heat and jets - fairly small hotel, but 1/2 block from Hwy 50. Restaurants, mall, liquor store nearby. Good for the money.

Overall it was a very pleasant stay. Staff are friendly and helpful, the complimentary breakfast was good and the beds are very comfy to sleep
