El Hotelito

Recent guest reviews

Great value, friendly staff and great location. The cafe downstairs is good too.

They let some guests be vocally noisy and disrupt other guests during the night when people should be quiet. I, personally, would probably not go back for this reason only, but I would recommend the place with this caveat.

Clean, quiet nice staff Large rooms Staff is very nice and helpful. Very secure hotel Quick walk to the center. WiFi was fast and excellent. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel.

This hotel can be described in two words (A dump) The good reviews must have been written by the hotel management.

The hotel was a great place to stay for a good vacation. The only thing that is was missing was a refrigerator and microwave. At least the room that I had did not have one. But I do recommend El Hotelito to people. The price is affortable and nice place to stay that for sure.

except for the street noise (our room was street front) which was compensated for by the view, the hotel was perfect for our needs. it was a quaint hotel near quaint restaurants and walking distance from everywhere of note.

Adorable hotel that is just a short walk away from the Zocalo. The room was exceptionally spacious and well-appointed. We especially appreciated the microwave and mini-refrigerator. The only down side to the hotel was that there was no forced air and the windows were sealed shut, so the room frequently felt muggy. Other than that, it is a GREAT choice for an inexpensive hotel in the lovely city of Puebla!

Pro: charming atmosphere, comfortable room, great value, and friendly staff. Wi-fi and Toiletry are provided. Con: walk-able distance to Zocalo but require a fair walk (10-15 minutes.)

Roomy, clean, &I comfortable. Unless u r a city person &I can handle noise, don't take rooms 10is or 7. Ask for room 6.

Staff speaks little English, however, they really try to help. Room was clean and had mini fridge & microwave, but no chairs. There were chairs in the patio, though, and we sat there and used our laptop. No good reading lamp but the staff brought us one when asked. There were no glasses, and there were no glasses even when asked. Very different from American hotel, but very Mexican, and very sweet.

A very affordable little hotel but with a minimum of services. We did not get the "upgraded" room we had reserved and we have no window. The door did lock from the inside. We just met two employees within two days... The surroundings are very ordinary but the Zocalo is not too far. We will not go back there, preferring to pay a little more for more comfort.

It's very close to the center, good price and friendly staff. The room was very clean.

Good location & price. Facilities `hit and miss`,bring your confirmation, they couldn`t find mine. Friendly staff.

Visited Puebla (third time) and decided to obtain a "cheap" room because it was a stopover for us...only spending the one night. Boy, were we taken by surprise. We paid $28/night plus taxes and it was the best money we've spent in a long time. The rooms were clean, very large, excellent location in the Centro Historico, phenomenal service, and did I mention clean? Listen, I'm sure the $28/night price won't last long but this hotel will still be around even at higher prices because it is simply the best value. Go to eat at Restaurant/Bar Del Parian...you won't be disappointed there either. [...] the owner will treat you like a king and you'll eat like a king on a pauper's budget...and not just quantity but QUALITY and DELICIOUS!
