We were really excited to stay in this hotel with a nice pool and thought it was an amazing deal, turns out there are reasons it seems like such a bargain. When we arrived we found out the pool was only open from 12 noon to 8PM so it was always very very crowded. You would not even get a chair to sit in by the pool unless you arrived and waited in line before the pool opened. When we first arrived our room smelled strongly of mold and the toilet had issues flushing. They were not able to move us to another room until our third night, they tried to move us to an even worse room by a vent, but then luckily were able to move us to a nice room which was enjoyable. Overall staff was friendly but seemed unable to deal with the run down nature of the hotel and did not to anything to compensate for this lack of basics by offering something like a discount or free breakfast.

Overall the room felt completely dirty. The carpets were stained, bath countertops were dirty, etc

The hotel was very beautiful, bed super comfy and the location was perfect for walking everywhere!

Staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was delicious.

Staff very friendly and rooms were clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious.

The hotel lives up to its 4 star rating and then some. The one exception was the front desk staff who were less than forthcoming with information. The parking garage was full so we were told to look for on street parking which was likewise taken. However there is a large public parking garage a short distance away- had we been told. Aside from the tight-lipped staff, everything else was great. The walk into the old town begins at the Macarena gate and leads to all sorts of wonders. We spent a few hours visiting a local park and got a great sense of local life. If you have a car this is probably as close in as you want to get- now that you know where to park.

I'd equate this to a Comfort-Inn in the US. The pictures / description sell it a little too much. Pros: safe in the closet, elevators, free wifi Cons: AC turned on only between 3PM to 3AM, Pool closed for seasons.

Very nice hotel with a more than reasonable cost. Took cabs to most things we wanted to see, but didn't mind that as cost of room was very low. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was very nice and clean however we were able to hear our neighbor's TV. Also, the morning front reception employee's were not friendly... Bellhop was very friendly and helpful!! But I would recommend this hotel to others travelig to Sevilla!!!

This hotel was very well placed. It was a very short walk to the local theme park, so we never needed to take the bus there. It's also right beside the main road, so we didn't have to go far to ride the bus. The busses in Sevilla are very frequent, so taking the bus to downtown was very easy and convenient. The breakfast that was supplied was very tasty, but also very overpriced, at 8.5 euros a day, per person, and that's only if you use it every day. If you don't use it every day, it's twice that. The staff were very helpful, being able to speak english. Unfortunately, the walls seemed to be very thin. We could hear quite clearly what was going on in adjacent rooms.

We stayed for 1 night in the Macarena to see the famous European Championship Soccer game. It was a blast. As all know, Spain took it home. The hotel was a bit difficult to find at first as there are signs to the hotel Macarena early next to the Magic Island but when you are close to the hotel the sign itself is so small it was hard to find. The room was ok, the entry was grand ( once inside ) and they had a nice pool on the roof, which of course helped a lot in the heat ( almost 40 degrees Celcius ) We enjoyed our stay and at the rate we paid it was a decent stay. No complaints but no major wows either. Would recommend. It is a 5 Euro taxiride to the Cathedral/Maria Luisa park but that is ok. Hotel also have car parking but it was fairly easy to locate street parking as well.
