Looked nice at the first look and friendly welcome but our room was not ready even though it was check-in time so we got a upgrade to a bigger room but the room felt very sterile and not thought through. In the night a huge cockroach ran around on the floor and we called the reception. We wanted to change room but they said we can only do it if we see one more cockroach so we packed our stuff and left in the morning. Not happy!!
This was our first time in Seville and definitely not our last. On arrival the Hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. In fact even before arrival, we emailed the Hotel to check our booking and the best route to get from the airport to the Hotel. They suggested a particular bus route which was a lot cheaper than a cab and it was so easy to get and only a 10 min walk from the bus stop. Very helpful! Once at the Hotel, we felt safe and the location was perfect - we walked everywhere, apart from to the Water Park. Our room was clean and of a good size with all the facilities you would expect. We loved the rooftop/ swimming pool area. It was a great spot to chill out during the hot afternoons and the sangria's made at the rooftop bar were different but fantastic! I highly recommend this Hotel for its value, location, rooftop area and especially its staff. It makes such a difference having amazing staff/ people in a new place.
Me and my girlfriend came to seville on holiday from Sweden , we stayed at hotel Rey Alfonso x what a really nice hotel! Super Friendly and helpful members of staff! Clean and really comfortable rooms with a nice modern touch in the rooms we got ! Great welcoming from the reception when we arrived , the breakfast in the morning on the roof terrasse is just a perfect start of the day, and the view on the terrasse is just amazing . We had the chance to try the pool bar where I have to say the bartender J.Antonio was extremely friendly and professional and made us the best sangria ever!!! Thanks to him!!!!
Stayed for three nights in two rooms with our daughters. The staff are extremely helpful throughout the hotel. Rooms large, clean, comfortable and well appointed. Large and comfy bed with good quality sheets (always felt cool like the best cotton!). Very little external noise, and free bottled water supplied each day. We used the hotel pool and rooftop terrace - great facilities. Wonderful location a five-ten minute walk through lovely backstreets to the Alcazar and Cathedral. Shopping area close by too, and lots of restaurants (including Pasaje just outside the front door of hotel). Have no quibbles about this hotel - would definitely return.
We stayed for three nights at the Hotel Alfonso. We loved the location. It was great for all the major attractions, bars and restaurants. The staff in particular were friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our air conditioning and they immediately offered us another room, we were changed over very quickly with the help of the Bellboy and to our delight it was an upgrade, a quick, prompt response, just what we needed! I would love to return to Seville and would certainly stay here again!
Our experience was marred by the lack of air conditioning in our room and the management's inability to fix it. Otherwise a nice hotel with a great rooftop pool and bar. Great views of Seville. Close to all major tourist attractions. The staff was helpful in telling us what to see and where to eat
Spent 4 nights. The hotel is very central, within walking distance of everything. Lots of good bars and restaurants around for food and drinks. Bar immediately outside hotel very nice for last drink at night and small cafes just up the road for breakfast. Didn't eat in the hotel as too much choice outside. Staff in hotel are very pleasant with excellent english. Room quite small and basic but very clean our room looked out to the courtyard. Rooftop pool is small but has a lot of sun loungers up there to relax and chill. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
great place: great location, service, breakfast, and great room! Location: We walked from the train station (santa justa) to the hotel, it is about 1 mile, but it is an easy walk. The hotel is very centrally located, we walked everywhere, the cathedral, alcazar, and everything in the old town is within waking distance, the hotel's neighborhood itself is nice and safe. Service: all the staff was very nice, and very helpful. Room: The room itself was very nice: good working AC, and everything seemed new and clean. The room was quiet at night, and very comfortable. One of the best parts of the hotel was the breakfast, it was really good, European style, but great food and great service. If we go back to sevilla, we would definitely stay here again.
We stayed in the historic center. All the important cites are within walking distance! The staff is very friendly. There is a rooftop bar and a pool. Our room was very comfortable. I would come again.
We took my mother (78) for a long weekend and loved this hotel and city. The hotel was central to everything and the staff polite and helpful. The roof top bar (where breakfast was served) was lovely with great views. Tea and coffee in the rooms and good free wifi. Only downside was the lighting and bathroom. Only one mirror in the bathroom which meant my husband had to wait ages for me to get ready. Another mirror in the actual room with extra lighting would have helped. V dark to put on makeup and hairdryer very slow with an annoying button you had to keep pressed for it to stay on! We loved it apart from that and definitely gets our approval
