Spent two nights at this hotel on our tour of spain.Impossible to find in car, had to go to city car park and carry bags to hotel . They do have a car park but was hidden by lorry parked outside of hotel. If travelling by car the streets are very narrow and you will need your whits about you.Apart from all that the hotel is lovely no problems there.Very helpful staff and very clean .We did not eat in hotel as it was close to cafes and tapas bars, and all the city attractions. highly recommend.
Great building to stay in for a start. Staff really nice, friendly and helpful. Its great value for money. Its very close to the cathedral and is really in a good spot for bars serving tapas. It is within walking distance to most of the main sites and about a 20 minute walk from the river and the bus station. Breakfast is continental style with plenty of choice. Highly recommend the place
The name of the hotel sends tingles of excitement down your spine. Ornately furnished rooms, courteous staff, and an amazing breakfast spread! The hotel is conveniently located and quite reasonable for the amenities offered.
The staff are really friendly and helpful. The location is ideal for most of the attractions - the cathedral and the Alcazar are both within a few hundred metres. The hotel opens onto a narrow pedestrian only street so it's relatively quiet, apart from sounds from the bar. Earplugs advisable if you have a street facing room. The bathroom is well equipped with a range of toiletries and products.
I stayed in the hotel, from the 19th April till the 24th of April this year, I would not advise anyone to stay in 10, in this hotel, it is the worse room I have ever stayed in, the noise levels shocking . The staff should not give this room to anyone, be warned.
I stayed here for 5 nights and here is a summary of my experience: PROS: - centrally located hotel - 5 mins walk to the cathedral, Alcazar, Santa Cruz. 2 mins walk to supermarket MAS which sold 1.5 litre bottled water for 49c rather than 2€ for 500 ml bottle from hotel - 10 min walk to El Cortes Ingles and other shops - surrounded by banks, restaurants, bars, cafes, shops - spacious room with king sized bed, lounge and strong shower pressure - efficient house cleaning of room with fresh towels every day - helpful and friendly reception staff- could not do enough for me - quite a few of the reception staff speak English which is helpful when you need directions - 10 min walk to the Speed Queen laundromat- 5€ for -12 kgs load and 1€ per 10 mins in dryer - Semana santa procession underneath my balcony last night CONS: - the biggest issue that I had was that I had a superior room with a balcony that looked out to the street which meant that there was constant noise day and night. The Spanish love to party late into the small hours of the morning and I found it distressing that I could hear the people and vehicles tooting their horns even though I was wearing my earplugs and found it very difficult to sleep. After 5 nights I was glad to move onto my next destination. - the Easter week processions had just started last night which meant that a large group of people gathered under my window for about 2 hours before the procession started at 9.30pm .the noise was unbearable and I could not hear on the phone nor could I hear the TV. It was like being in a football stadium. - for me the breakfast was poor quality. I love eggs but the boiled eggs had obviously been cooked the day before and were black inside. The scrambled eggs were hard, dry and rubbery. If you like cold meats then you will like the breakfast. If you are not sensitive to noise then this hotel is a fabulous budget hotel that is centrally located. As a solo traveler I felt looked after and safe. If they could sound proof the glass on the windows on the street side then it would have been a perfect 5 night stay.
Well located in the older part of Seville with most of the 'must sees' a short stroll away. Many of the rooms struggle to get reasonable daylight as the lanes surrounding the hotel are very narrow and buildings so close. My single bedroom was very dark indeed and I had no inclination to stay there longer thank necessary. That said it was clean and the bathroom had an unbelievably powerful shower. The breakfast was more than ample with an excellent buffet spread. Next door was the hotel restaurant which offered a great tapas selection. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Good value and great location.
Great beds, wonderful breakfast, quiet, centrally located and Laura at the front desk was exceptional. All the staff were attentive and professional! Thank you Laura for helping us have a great vacation!
Am now in room 21 steer well clear, the electrics are dangerous lights hanging off the wall and wrongly wired advised see reception on 20th when we arrived said the maintenance man wasn't on until today, he says it is fine and therefore is incompetent if we want to turn the lights off we have to close down the entire electrical supply to the room. Complete bunch of unqualified idiots. You are also treated to the entire drainage system of the rooms on the upper floors, plus it is filthy,if in this room please note we moved here from 216 which stank of damp. Ignore their photos they only have 4 rooms that could look like this. Have just come back to a bottle of wine to compensate for possible electrocution, our lives are worth a bit more than this, will be contacting Seville buildiding standards authorities.
Where better if you want to be central in Seville. This is a three star and very good. Minutes from cathedral and central facilities. Reception staff excellent, attentive, and charming. They could not do more for us. Breakfast typical continental and, again, staff very attentive. We asked for fresh hot bacon and it came. Breakfast area in covered courtyard set the scene. We had room 217 that only looked out onto roof of courtyard but was adequate ( we only slept there!) shower room small but again adequate and water instantly hot. Other dining is in cafeteria next door and we had a tapa lunch and a menu del dia. Both superb. When the first course of the Menu del dia came it was the size of a main. Daytime service in cafeteria was attentive and charming. We had drinks in reception and receptionists ensured we were serviced. For a brief stay in central Seville I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.
