Great location. Well appointed room. Strange layout for my room (bathroom was accessed from the "living space", not from the bedroom). Bathroom was small and lacked counter space.

Nice large room has separate sitting area with a couch, chair and TV.

The king size bed was amazing and the room was perfect. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

After reading through some previous experiences, I was so afraid about the stay here. I read a few posts about the late check-ins and hwo their rooms were given away. So I went to check in at 4PM to avoid any hassles. WRONG!! The check-in process was so easy, the assistant manager was so nice and accomodating. I got a room close to the elavators on the 15th floor. AWESOME check-in process. Not sure what the heck those people were are talking about. Then I went up to check out the room, I was so impressed how the space was used. The bathroom was huge!! The area was really quiet, unbelievable. Before my fiance and I left for dinner, we asked if the heat could be shut off in the room and the window opened. It was very hot up there. We came back, the room was exactly as we asked.

Get together with some old buddies, good size suite great location down town can walk almost anywhere. Hotel is older but still in good shape restaurant and bar right on first floor. The Starbucks right there was a great addition as well.

Stayed here for two days while on a business trip. It is right in the middle of downtown near a lot of places to go at night and eat. The room is beautiful with a great comfy bed and the staff is remarkable. It is also really romantic if that's a thing for you. I kept thinking, this is where I would bring someone if I was trying to impress them. Nevertheless, great place.

great comfort, location....stay out of mcormack and schmick restaurant, no value, average food at gourmet prices, very very slow service......but the hotel was great.....hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. highly recommend hotel. Just eat somewhere else...great area.....

Welcome reception by staff. Room was very large and clean. Will return.

The hotel is a little old but the room was very comfortable the staff was great and very accommodating and again all I can say is location location location. It's in the middle of where you want to be in downtown Providence will definitely come back again

This hotel seems a bit tired and the staff overwhelmed. Lots of mistakes and they failed to fix a broken blind despite several requests. Way too expensive for this lack of quality.

No pool, staff weren't friendly. Elevator didn't work. Terrible view

Very nice... Old Hotel... Great Staff and Service... Great restaurant (McCormick and Schmick's) just off the lobby.

Very centrally located. Old hotel with lots of history. Rooms are small and not as modern. Pricey for the off season.

parking fee 25 dollars. high! anything else is good. room is smaller than my expectation.

The Biltmore is located next to the conference center downtown and offered a Jr. Suite for a rate better than the other recommended hotels. Although it is an older hotel, it was neat and modern throughout. I was very pleased and would stay here again.

Stayed at the Biltmore again. This time I got a small cozy room instead of the junior suite. The location is still great, within walking distance of restaurants and bars.

I would like to add to my previous review: after 11 days from reporting the items that were mistakenly taken from my room, and retrieved by the staff, I still have not received them back via the FedEx package that they (supposedly) sent.

Not sure how but I got a junior suite for $149 in middle of October. Right downtown Providence in the arts district. Lots of local restaurants. A few blocks away is the mall full of chain retailers and restaurants. My only comment is I found a spot on the linen but that could have been me. The rest of the room was spotless. I just booked next week and looking forward to it.

The hotel is a nice central location, I was lucky (I think) to book a junior king suite, very comfortable room, quality beds and pillows; I slept really well. An unfortunate accident ruined the trip: my toiletries (easily replaced) and my electric shaver (top of the line Philips, worth >120$) disappeared after the maid cleaned. Perhaps he/she thought I was staying only for one night? At any rate when I reported this, the staff was very kind, replaced the basic toiletries, but was unable (or unwilling based on the policies of the hotel) to access the lost & found room (whose manager was out (it was about 9pm) and wouldn't be back till 8am, and I was leaving at 5am). So I had to leave without my stuff. The day afterwards in the afternoon I got a call from the lost & found manager, who shipped the items (I hope) - after suggesting that I should pay the shipping cost - a suggestion which I firmly (and successfully) refused. At no point he apologized (while the staff at the hotel did). So all was well in the end (assuming I'll indeed get my items back), but frankly this is the first time such an accident happens to me in 15 years of travel, and it could have been resolved much more easily with access to the lost & found, instead of waiting a day and then for the shipping. Other than that, good hotel in good location downtown Providence.

Very relaxing and enjoyable. Staff was friendly and accommodations were excellent.
