The view, spa , pool area, restaurant. All great , and the two Lovely female concierges!

VIews from this property are amazing! We stayed for a week and had a great time. It’s a quiet resort but close to Hanalei where you can catch some local vibe or grinds. Hotel is getting ready to be remodeled and could use an update but by no means is it run down...it’s very beautiful

The location of this hotel is just amazing!! We enjoyed our stay. However a few things will not make us come back. The food on the property is just not good and is very overpriced. Also would love to have more activities for kids such a game room. Please consider these suggestions as you begin renovation next year!

Amazing experience. Gorgeous views. Relaxing atmosphere.

The views are out of this world which matches the quality of this resort. Everything was just perfect.

the staff — from arrival to departure and all interaction - all staff were professionally helpful and warm. best part of stay is the staff and location. hotel - needs refreshed but clean n comfortable .

What an absolutely beautiful property! The location and the views are absolutely spectacular. As mentioned frequently, the facility is definitely dated and could use some love. Hotel staff said the company that purchased the hotel in November is planning an eco-conscious renovation. Not sure if it is worth the cost in the state its in right now. Also didn't appreciate the extra charges for valet parking (not optional) and the resort fee - what is that? Aren't I already paying to stay at the resort? The service was good but not the white glove service you would expect at this price point. I would tenatively recommend staying here.

The valet option is nice, but there isn't an option if you want to self-park - and they don't tell you about the $35 per day parking fee until you get there. Would prefer this to be known in advance and/or have a self-park option. Overall, love the service and staff and the property is beautiful.

Gorgeous location, very clean, super nice staff, great pool.

Greeting from the staff was wonderful and the pool/ beach area was beautiful

I loved the beach and the breakfast is absolutely excellent. The hotel has some parts that are a little bit old.

The property is going through a new owner transition. There is peeling paint and areas of disrepair, however, the lobby is lovely. Positive comments: The pool and ocean setting are the real draws for this hotel. Amazing! The staff is first rate. Room amenities are high-end, except I was surprised it had robes but no slippers. The negatives: There are 2 restaurants for dinner and the food was just OK, and very expensive for what one gets. We were unimpressed by the chef, the menu was limited and lacked creativity. One item is a pork chop which was thickly crusted in batter and fried, and awful. Another item is MahiMahi, which was so heavily salted, it was hard to eat. With one drink and one dessert, we spent almost $140, and it was not worth it. There is a spa with a steam room but guests are not allowed access, unless one has a treatment. Hawaii has the highest level of UV in the country and skin cancer/damage is a real concern. From my experience, all Hawaiian high-end hotels have sunscreen available by the pool for the guests to take a squirt, and encourage guests to lather up, and some hotels have someone walking around with a UV spray for guests. At Princeville, when asked at the pool for a UV cream was told, "you can buy some". That attitude is disappointing, showing blatant disregard or ignorance that their property is in an area of extreme high skin cancer risk. I hope the new owners keep the old grand wooden/ marble architectural elements during renovation.

Amazing place to stay while in paradise! Plan for high prices regarding food while staying on the island.

This is the ultimate luxury hotel! Gorgeous views, friendly staff, excellent service, delicious food, amazing spa, beautiful pool... it’s expensive, but worth the splurge for a couple of nights while you’re on Kauai.
