The experience with the Hilton Garden Inn Miami Airport West was very disappointing. Reservations made through Orbitz were not found and customer service and assistance were lacking.
Staff was friendly but the check in person was not very well trained yet, ended up placing 2 holds on my card that caused me to max out and have no funds available to me.
Fridge in room wasn’t working. When opened, a lot of food was left behind from a previous guest and not removed. The smell almost knocked me over. I asked the staff to replace the fridge, which they eventually did rather than move rooms. The entire time I was there, not once was my room serviced, despite daily servicing. Beds were not made, towels were not replaced. Had to get fresh towels from the desk daily. The front reception staff were excellent. Very friendly and courteous. A shame about the housekeeping, seen there was none. Otherwise this hotel could have got full marks.

I liked that even though the hotel is very close to the airport and the planes fly overhead very low not once did I hear them when in my room. The room was comfy and very clean and the staff were very nice. Their restaurant was being remodeled so it was closed but there is a hotel across the parking lot with a nice restaurant. Only bad thing I encountered was accessing the property from the street! Depending which direction you’re coming from it can be very tricky to get to the hotel. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay!
