they don't seem to care

Everyone

The location was convenient to where we wanted to be, but there were just too many problems, many of which stemmed from their unwillingness to provide directions. We couldn't find our room, because it required us to go through an unmarked door (if it had been light, we would have seen it led to an outside passage to rooms, but it was dark). The TV controls were mysterious, and I wound up having to reboot everything to make it work. The WiFi had a password, but when I entered it, the responses was "incorrect password" (and yet the desk clerk made it work by entering the same code). And at 8AM we asked them to come back later to make up the room, but they never did. To heat the room to a reasonable 70 degrees, we had to set the thermostat to 55, something which took a bit of trial-and-error to figure out.

Exit door Mold in coffee maker Broken thermostat Broken draws

I can see why there were no refunds. Poor maintenance and lack of cleaning were not evident until check in. Then it was to late! You think your safe from this checking into a Calarion hotel. Buyer beware.

not as bad as others have said

Everyone

For the price we paid to stay for 1 night, it was worth it. The bed was super comfy, room was clean, but sofa bed was inoperable! Be up early to catch the continental breakfast, unlike us we got down there at about 9 & there were no seats and quite the wait for the waffle/pancake makers. I was Very skeptical on staying here & almost wanted to cancel by taking other reviews into consideration, but am Very happy I didn't!! I'd def stay here again if need be

might have just been a bad couple of days for them

Everyone

Three nights unable to get A?C to work, thankfully window opened. Two mornings no hot water in shower..."they're working on it". doesn't cut it after the first morning. Came back 3rd night, found room not made up. I've stayed here before, same room, and told desk last time about A/C issue but nothing done. Won't be back.

great price, but you get what you pay for.

Everyone

Cleanliness of room was just fine. The place is aging faster than they can keep it up. Our annoyance was the general areas. After for 5 days they staff never once vacuumed or picked up the junk in the hallways. We could give directions to our room base on the litter: At the top of the stairs go straight when you see a along strip of paper, continue on at the crumpled Kleenex, take a left at the dried apple core in the window sill, our room is opposite the Coke can in the window sill. If you get to the Marshall's tag on the floor you went too far.

dont waste your money

Staff was the only good thing about this place! They were very friendly. Hotel is OLD, DIRTY AND CREEPY!! My room was filthy. Dirty carpet, mold on shower ceiling, paint peeling on bathroom walls and the sheets on one of my beds were dirty. Thank goodness I was only staying 1 night!! For $84, I could have stayed in a better place.
