Three nights unable to get A?C to work, thankfully window opened. Two mornings no hot water in shower..."they're working on it". doesn't cut it after the first morning. Came back 3rd night, found room not made up. I've stayed here before, same room, and told desk last time about A/C issue but nothing done. Won't be back.

Good for a few days business trip. Room ample size, clean but unable to operate heating unit only AC.

Needed a hotel close to Princeton and this one fit the bill. Room was decent no hassles

I had a good time. My room was clean my bed was very comfortable and big and I was able to relax the way that I wanted to.

Cleanliness of room was just fine. The place is aging faster than they can keep it up. Our annoyance was the general areas. After for 5 days they staff never once vacuumed or picked up the junk in the hallways. We could give directions to our room base on the litter: At the top of the stairs go straight when you see a along strip of paper, continue on at the crumpled Kleenex, take a left at the dried apple core in the window sill, our room is opposite the Coke can in the window sill. If you get to the Marshall's tag on the floor you went too far.

Staff was the only good thing about this place! They were very friendly. Hotel is OLD, DIRTY AND CREEPY!! My room was filthy. Dirty carpet, mold on shower ceiling, paint peeling on bathroom walls and the sheets on one of my beds were dirty. Thank goodness I was only staying 1 night!! For $84, I could have stayed in a better place.

Nice hotel, we'll kept. Our air conditioner was really loud though and kept me up. Big room, fridge was convenient.

In general, this hotel was good. The staff greeted us very well and they were pleasant and courteous. The beds were super comfortable. The breakfast could use a little more variety for breads and fresh fruit. The cereal choice was good. Waffles were good too. The carpets and in room heaters looked like they needed a little bit of a refresher. Otherwise, a good choice for the money.

The smell of the hotel reminded me of India and it permeated the entire hotel. That was our first turn off. The second issue was that the toilet did not flush in our bedroom. A repair person came, but it still didn't work. We had to change rooms. The hotel was laid out in a crazy way...corners everywhere, up and down one-step levels...just a weird hotel! We disliked it so much we did not eat the free breakfast, instead we went to the corner bakery near-by.

When my family and I got to New Jersey for a family vacation it was 2 in the morning when we got to the hotel, we had been driving about 16-17 hours and even at that time where most people are tired and cranky the gentleman that assisted me was very nice and understanding. There was an issue with my bank not releasing the funds even though some money had been deposited and the man at the front desk was very understanding about it and acknowledged that we had been driving from Florida and told us to stay and we would try again in the morning. The front desk personnel were very professional and even the cook in the morning Alex was so welcoming and loving. I had the best experience ever, I'm so glad I chose this hotel. It wasn't a 5 star hotel, but the service was more than excellent. Thank you for all you did to make our vacation a great experience!!

A little rundown. Convenient location. Wonderful staff.

We were fully satisfied with the room and amenities.

The location was great for reunion weekend. However, the facilities were a bit dirty and the breakfast was not so great.

Good location; convenient to Princeton and Rt 1 shopping. Old fashioned motel,. dark room.

It was roomy. It was clean overall. Breakfast was poor. Comfortable beds.

When I booked the hotel I didn't have any high expectations considering previous reviews, price, and listed amenities. The hotel staff was pleasant and the room appeared to be clean. I would say overall everything was average, you get what you pay for.

We stayed for Thanksgiving, and the price was much lower than that of the real 4-star hotels in the Princeton area. The facility is old, with the design of a '50s motel (all rooms reachable from the outside. The furniture was serviceable but not modern. The staff was competent, but didn't offer that "we're here to make your stay pleasant" attitude that you get from staff at local 4-star hotels. Self-serve breakfast was free, which it is not at the competing 4-star hotels, but was rather low-quality, comparable to what you'd expect at a 2-3-star hotel. I think the summary is that the hotel should be rated at 3 stars and then everything is exactly as one would expect.

Apple GPS maps combined with poor assistance from hotel resulted in spending 1.5 hours to travel what was supposed to be a 2.5 mile trip from Princeton University to the hotel---actual mileage was about 30 miles. One of our cars was separated and even with the helpful hotel clerk, it took 30 minutes to direct them in. The 800 number rep hung up on me. Clean, courteous staff---great location once you find it. First room was used; second room had some deficiencies too. There are many hotels in this area and most likely I will try another what will be many trips over the next 4 years.

room folar was wet and breackfast items would take 30 to be refilled

Whole Foods within walking distance. The room had a dark wet spot on the ceiling probably from the A/C unit above. Luckily, the spot wasn't dripping. The noises/voices from the nearby units are clearly audible in the room. Saw several small insects (look like small black ants) in the bathroom, though weren't inconveniencing me. The breakfast is surprisingly abundant and diverse! Internet is good for Skype, though Youtube videos take time to load. Much cheaper than any other hotel within reasonable walking/driving distance from Princeton!
