good location, friendly staff. The rooms are large and clean. We were doing a long road trip. This made a welcome break. Used the washing machine and tumble dryer. Just a short walk to a White Spot restaurant. An idea hotel in a central spot
Nice Hotel close city center. The rooms are really good sized and clean. The Front Desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was a bit tricky and small, but a good selection for a Travelogde. A couple of Restaurants in walking distance made it easy for Dinner.
Adequate in every respect. Hot water. Clean room. Slightly worn hallways; ordinary foyer; free continental breakfast (we were advised but didn't partake). Nothing gross and evil. Nothing amazing. Good value overall and, if it matters, right downtown.
Trying to find a reasonable room in PG is not easy. Travelodge was comfortable and surprisingly quiet, even with all the hockey teams staying there. Bathroom is pretty tight but was clean. Breakfast includes a waffle-maker, toast, bagels etc; fruit; yogurt. Not a bad option overall.
I stayed here for three nights near the end of April 2017. It was conveniently located walking distance to most of the places I needed to go downtown including the art gallery, the Wood Innovation Design Centre and several restaurants. The motel looks a bit dated. The elevator was being replaced so was unavailable. That wasn't a big deal to me as I only had one bag but for others on the third floor who had more luggage it may have been a bit of a pain. The standard room was the same as pretty much all other motels. The difference here is the newly renovated bathroom which was nice. The hotel wifi worked well for the most part and they also provided free continental breakfast, with fruit, yogurt, toast, bagels, muffins, waffles, and hard boiled eggs. There is free parking but the lot is oddly designed so those with larger vehicles may feel it a bit cramped for space. I didn't have to interact with the staff very much but when I did they were professional, courteous, and they were able to accommodate me. It's a budget motel that provided everything I expected.
One of the best hotels I have stayed in the staff are all amazing helpful and curious. I stay at the travelodge on a regular basis. The breakfast girl could be a little more polite WiFi could be better
A very reasonable place that is very well done! The rooms are comfortable and nicely laid out. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious. Just a nice surprise for the dollar! I would recommend it!
Nice staff. Friendly, but won't go out of their way (which is ok). I got a kitchen suite. Ground floor. The first day was ok, but the second day the room refused to heat!! I was cold at night (I had put up the thermostat, but it refused to go beyond 65 degrees F). Apart from the bed and a table, there is NO place to put anything - no place to hang your coat or to keep any stuff that you need to. So once the table is full, use the chairs and then, of course, no work can happen. The staff was nice enough to get me an extra chair. The bathroom was really nice and they put very good quality toiletries. I was quite impressed with that. Good facilities - microwave, two burner induction stove, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, mini double door fridge. And full-length mirror and hair dryer. TV Pots, pans, glasses, cups, plates, spoons, knife, dishwashing soap etc, all well equipped. Though wifi was included, it did not work for a second. No possibility of hooking your computer to a cable connection. They said there was a problem with the provider just on the two days that I was there, so it was sad! But they did have a computer in the lobby that I could use and that worked. So as long as you remember all your passwords, you can work on a public system if you are ok with it. But for me, that was a really huge inconvenience. A continental breakfast is included in the stay, which is really nice. Cereal, fruit, juice, milk, yogurt, waffle maker, tea/coffee, muffin, bread. Honey, butter, cream cheese. Good breakfast. if I am on a budget, I will come back. But not otherwise. The heat, space, and internet are important things to make one feel comfortable.
I have stayed several times at this hotel, and my next visit to Prince George, I will return again. I have stayed alone, with my son, overnight stayed with my husky, and love how accommodating the front staff have been. Each time, I have received great service. I was double charged once, and the Manager was on it immediately. Good value for the money. A colleague opts for a much higher priced hotel on the main highway, so to avoid theft in this city; however, her vehicle was recently broken in to in the parking lot of that hotel.I have never had issue at the Travelodge during any of my visits. I recommend the Travelodge to all of my travelling colleagues. Great location to walk to restaurants and cinema, and Tim Horton's very close by. All the perks I need to return.
I cannot tell you how accomodating the staff was at this hotel. While the looks of the town itself left much to be desired in my opinion, the staff and people we met were above and beyond! I would stay at this hotel again and again! We left a bag with a brand new laptop, diamonds, pearls and many other valuables and the hotel went above and beyond to get it to us AND EVERYTHING was still in it!
