Chose this location for 2 reasons. First it was very close to project site and second, I once stayed here almost 35 years ago when it was still a Slumber Lodge. It hasn't changed much since then but has been kept up to date. Rooms were clean and staff friendly
Hotel was central to town, clean rooms and courteous staff. The facilities were adequate and the hotel is near some handy restaurants etc. I found the beds a little hard, but besides that the stay was fine.
everything was close by, shopping, restraunts everything within walking distance and hotel was quiet quiet for rest throughout night. would stay again when we plan our next trip to Prince George. we did not have a problem for parking and noticed that they have plenty of security cameras plus saw a few security mobile patrols during the 2 night stay.
My first time to stay here. I was a bit dubious when my friend told me that the price was just around 50$/night. I checked trip advisor right away for the reviews and I got mix reactions from people who checked in. Since we just needed a room for 2 nights, we decided to give it a try. I was surprised that the room was big. The beds were like queen size. The pillows and mattresses were soft. The room and bathroom was clean. They have a tv, microwave oven and mini ref. No free breakfast btw. The bathroom has stock of shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion. The bath towel was kinda small. They have a closet to hang your clothes. Two chairs and a square dining table was provided in the room as well. ACU and heater are provided as well. Bathroom has cold and hot water. Water supply is not weak. They have wifi also. They cleaned our room and replenished our stock in the bathroom on the first day when we left to go somewhere. This Inn is located in Downtown. Walking distance from Tim Hortons, Wendy’s, A&W and Subway. About five minutes you will reach Save-On foods, London drugs, the Bay shopping centre, Pizza Hut, The movie house, staples, China Cup buffet, Second Cup Coffee shop, Dollar Store etc. I enjoyed my stay here. I actually miss that soft and big bed.
My two young children and I stayed there this past weekend, while overnighting with ViaRail. It was nice and close to the train station (a $7 cab ride). We had a 2 double bed room, which was clean and comfy. It had a mini fridge, a microwave and television with actual channels! (lol) the shower pressure was wonderful, and I don’t have much to complain about, other than the fact I was quoted a different amount than what my credit card was charged. (I would have mentioned it if I knew then, but I had a running cab waiting, 2 under 3 years old and luggage so I just paid and went on our way) I did phone this morning once I saw the charge on my bill, so we’ll wait to see the outcome. Otherwise this hotel was very good for us. Perfect location and still with the price I was charged, it was a better option for a quick night stay.
The room was excellent, but the lock on the patio was broken. I'm sure it'll get fixed as we've stayed here before and they are very courteous. Not sure I like this survey report as it demands a 200 word count which makes it a horrible thing to fill out and reduces the chances of getting good reviews with few complaints posted.
Great location, great value, fantastic service, close to shopping and restaurants, would definitely return. Big king size bed was comfortable. Rooms need updating but if you are not looking for luxury then these clean rooms are for you
The check in was easy and quick. The room was clean and the bedding fresh. We had a pet friendly room and there was no pet smell. The room was located near our parked car. We got a good nights sleep as rooms were quiet. The shower worked well. A pleasurable experience. We will be back.
Well as my stay was goods I just wanted to say thanks and that I would probably be back =) It was pretty quiet as i figured we were the louder of people in the area but clearly wasn't that loud which is good since we had a great visit
The outside could use a refurb, but the inside was clean, well decorated and very functional. Charging station on the night stand was very helpful, for example. Bathroom was dated but again functional and clean. I checked in very early with no problem. Staff went out of their way to make things comfortable and to verify that I had enough towels and washcloths. Right in the middle of town and having a Timmy's across the street was great. Very good value.
