Good solid hotel with friendly staff!! Comfortable bed, good water pressure in shower, bar fridge and decent hot breakfast. Brothers 2 next door is a good place for dinner!!Would recommend hotel for a shorty stay!
We were given a choice of room when we arrived without a reservation by the friendly desk clerk. The room was clean and large as was the bathroom. Plenty of towels, coffee & tea and amenities, plus the free breakfast was quite adequate. We enjoyed our stay and the wonderful restaurant next door. We understood about not changing linens everyday to save energy, but we expected to have the beds made and the trash picked up every day and that did not happen.
The room (#128) was very well appointed and clean but the bathroom was very dated and the shower was just a trickle of very hot water one second and the next very cold...I told the front desk immediately after our first shower and was told that it would be immediately looked into. If they did or not, the result was the same for the next 2 days...this is not acceptable in such a nice and not so cheap place. Upon leaving I was given a small reduction on my bill for those 3 days - Too bad, this place looks nice with the interior garden corridor, smells good and has a very friendly staff. The free breakfast also was the best in my travels this year. thks
After leaving our nightmare at the Loyalist was able to secure a last minute accommodation for our 6 day stay in Summerside. Friendly and knowledgeable staff on where to go and see in the area. Was not disappointed and will return at a later date.
We stayed for one night. They were short staffed when we arrived so check in took about 1/2 hr. We were placed in the adjacent motel-like property. Dirty windows and door greeted us. The room was musty and dusty. Cracked and peeling paint on door frames. Cobwebs in the corners of the bathroom and dirty walls throughout. In hindsight I wish we would have just left as I didn't sleep well due to the condition of the room. Paid way to much!! Would not recommend staying in the motel part. Maybe the main hotel is better.
We stayed for 3 nights. When I booked, I mentioned that I was gluten intolerent and if there would be something for me to eat at breakfast. I was told 'no problem, there is a full hot breakfast and fruit'. Well it is one way to say it: there was powdered eggs (beurk!) and sausage - and the attendant could not even tell me if they were gluten free!! First day, there were 3 apples left when we got there so I got a hard boiled egg, yogurt and orange juice. We did not even try the 2nd morning! Just before we left on the 3rd day, I took again a hard boiled egg - which tasted sour so I did not eat it, and a banana. It chose the 'less green' of the bunch but, again it was really hard to peel! Would not pay extra again for this breakfast! I guess we needed to go before the bus tour people got their breakfast for us to be able to eat something edible. Good thing the room was very nice and well appointed.
This is a very nice hotel and the staff is very helpful. We had a very nice room and had an enjoyable stay. Water Street is either East or West and our GPS did not differentiate and we ended up at the wrong place to start with. Be sure you go to East Water Street
First time to visit PEI and we were very happy with our hotel. It was close to PEI National Park (30 minutes), so this was very good. Unexpectedly the hotel has a golf course (green fees waived for guests, club rental $7 pp), so that was a plus. The staff was friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast each morning was pretty good- pancake machine, eggs, breakfast meat. Also they made muffins fresh each morning throughout the morning- pretty unique. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, good location - would recommend.
First time to stay at this Quality Inn. The staff are very friendly - rooms are very clean and the beds were great for sleeping. We were taking in a concert on Water St found it very central for all the amenities. The restaurant next store gets a high five also. I would highly recommend this place to stay. Next time we are in and around Summerside PE I would stay there again.
I arrived a little bit earluy and the room wasn't ready. They asked if I minded waiting an hour but would process my check-in now so that when the room was ready all I would need would be the key. It was fast. Upon inquiring they recommended a ;lace to eat that had a nice deck with a view of the water. Upon return I was handed a key which came with a ticket for free drink at the restaurant next door. As mentioned by others the corridor is wide with seating - a nice place for some quiet socializing. The room was clean with comfortable bed and pillows. Had a refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast area is adequate and the food was good. Constant attention to ensure nothing ran out. Checkout was quick, efficient and pleasant. All my interactions with the staff was pleasant. Would stay again.
