Hi there, stayed here recently great location. Rooms were remodeled and very clean. Front desk staff were very helpful. I must say I was impressed with the continental breakfast loads of choices hot and fresh top notch. Loved the eggs the male Chef was very professional and a nice older Lady was working as well, breakfast helped to top off a great stay thank you

We like this location because it is so close to walk to everywhere downtown. Stayed two nights in Summerville House one of the annexes. Nice king room with lots of space, a microwave, fridge and a few dishes. There was a coffee maker with tea and coffee but no decaffeinated tea. No decaf tea in the lobby either. There were a couple of bottles of wine in the room available for purchase for $19.95. If they had been a local PEI wine we may have been tempted! Staff were always friendly and helpful. No pool on site but you can get a pass for use of the one up the road. WiFi worked great even with both of us on it at the same time.

I stayed here for 3 nights for work. The check in was very prompt and professional. The hotel actually has 3 buildings and I was in one of the annexes. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. Having said that, it could use an upgrade as the hardwood floors are worn out. The standard budget hotel breakfast was adequate however I would have preferred an actual breakfast menu. The hotel does not have a gym which is annoying. They do give you passes to the UPEI gym but after a long day I don't want to leave the hotel. Overall I was satisfied and would have no problem staying here again.

We stayed in one of the annexes next to the main building in a king sized room. The room was very clean, spacious, and had an adequately sized bathroom. The room also had a microwave and a mini fridge. I found the room to be quiet even though it was on the ground floor. I would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. We are from the island but wanted a night downtown to celebrate. The Inn on the Hill, as it's known as by the locals, was a perfect place for us to stay. We are very familiar with the area and other local hotels, and this one is by far the best value. The staff was cheerful and helpful, room was clean and bright. It was a wonderful stay. We are already looking forward to another night out soon which will surely include a stay at the Quality Inn & Suites Downtown.

We stayed at one of the rooms in the two adjoining houses located next to the main hotel. It was spacious and clean. We chose this hotel because it said it had laundry facilities - but not really. We were told the housecleaning staff used the laundry and we had to go to a nearby laundromat. Not far, but it did not live up to its advertising. It is very conveniently located to many good restaurants and activities downtown. Breakfast was decent, though the :scrambled eggs" were made from powder and did not look appetizing.

The location for this property is great--you can walk to dozens of places to eat and shop. They are big on recycling and the rooms are comfortable. But there was road noise below our room, no fitness center (although you could get a pass for one a few blocks away), the outlets were only by the beds and there was only one small elevator. Wifi worked well, and the breakfast was adequate.

I concur with the positive comments regarding refurbished rooms. I'm glad the hotel improved these rooms and made them more contemporary. It was nice to have a fridge and microwave available. Close to everything.

Booking a hotel room in Charlottetown during summer is challenging especially if it is last minute. The only room that was available to us was a king size bed "efficiency" room for a whooping $287! The room had a kitchen and is fairly good size. However, there is only one main air-conditioning unit to cool the whole room! The king sized bed was situated with a wall partition and hence the cool air is not getting into the room. Take note that there is a cooling fan situated inside the room. I am glad that we only stayed one night. For $287 plus taxes and such, I was definitely not impressed. The room is also a bit worn down and carpets needs replacement.

The location of this hotel is excellent, being within a few blocks of the downtown area with its many restaurants. Our recently refurbished room with two queen beds was spacious and nicely furnished, as well as having a fridge and microwave. The bathroom was clean and a decent size too. Free Wi-Fi worked very well and the complimentary breakfast was good, with ham, sausage and scrambled eggs as hot items. Staff were outstanding: at breakfast, one of the staff on duty rushed off to make decaf coffee for us which arrived very quickly and was much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.
