The hotel was very dirty and un-kept. Hotel was full and very noisy. Called down to the desk three times in order for noise to be dealt with. Attendant said she was the only one working and that she was unable to walk the halls and deal with noise. I then had to go to the room above and ask the group to be quiet. The room was filthy and out-dated. Gum was found on the chair, the desk was chipped and the desk chair was missing its wheels. The odor in the room resembled that of a mild sewer smell. The pool was filthy; the water so murky that you could not see the bottom. The hotel is situated next to the P.A Correctional Centre; this is the view outside the hotel window. I would highly recommend avoiding this hotel.
Hotel is in serious need of updating. It’s right next door to the provincial jail. Depending on the way you face you could see into their courtyard. This didn’t bother me just made for interesting conversation with kids. Breakfast was disappointing. Hard boiled eggs were not good at all. No other protein. No bacon. No sausage. No ham. Just pancakes. Cereal. Apples & bananas. We were there for hockey. Needed some protein for kids. Pool is so tiny. Yes there is a water slide but pool attendant spent entire time yelling at kids to clear slide area. Edges of the pool are a hazard with the way it’s broken up. Rooms were okay. Beds were comfy. Heater fan was very loud. Made it hard to sleep. Rooms are not sound proof. Could hear doors slamming all night & people walking in the hallway above all night long.
I stayed at the Days Inn in Prince Albert on Christmas and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a hotel. The service was incredibly friendly and the room was perfect! When I checked in, I was given a wrapped box of chocolates with a hand written card for a Christmas gift. I will definitely be going back!
There was women''s hair and a women's hair elastic on my bed, under pillow. Check in was suppose to be at 3:00 - was there at 3:45 and couldn't get in. So had to reload all the luggage in vehicle. And then took 30 minutes to check in casue they couldn't find my reservation.
I had enjoyed my weekend at Days Inn, staff r very kind. My girls surely enjoyed themselves at the pool even though it was full.
I like the hotel for their location and for the Wyndham rewards. The hotel is starting to show its age. Carpet in hallways needs replacing and so do the beds.
Irene was the employee I booked with and who checked me in...she was the friendliest lady, remembered the little things and greeted me each time with enthusiasm. I was impressed with her level of sevice. The rooms could use some repair bur they were sufficient. It is Irene's service that will bring me back.
I’ve heard of leaving a chocolate on the pillow but never a grape on the floor. Did you even bother to vacuum? How about the massive tear in the couch? What a dump. And this is suppose to be one of the better choices in PA? Wow.
This was one of the dirtiest hotels I've ever stayed at. The room smelled, carpet turned our sock black and there was garbage behind a nightstand. This is not the cheapest hotel in town. We chose this hotel because it had a pool and we paid extra for a suite so our toddler could sleep easier. The pool was also filthy - cloudy water and small beads all over the deck and on the floor of the pool (maybe something to do with the filter?). We didn't try the breakfast because my husband saw the worker putting out the food with bare hands and judging by the rest of the cleaning standards, we were afraid of getting sick. We didn't complain to the staff on duty because there is NO WAY they think this hotel is providing a nice stay. Why bother?
We checked into the Days Inn for two nights in a 1 bdrm suite under a group booking. Our Check in was easy and staff pleasant. Once we arrived in our room we discovered the sofa bed arm had a huge tear, (1/4 of the arm) I took a photo to avoid any damage charges, the sofa was also so sagged out and dirty that I had actually placed a towel on it before sitting down and honestly I am not a Princess when it comes to stuff like this. The mini fridge had coke spilled in it, the bedroom area had food or something stuck to the carpet in many spots, the full length mirror was completely missing off the wall (hooks were still there), there was food or blood or something on the back of the closet door which can be seen easily when opening the closet from the bedroom. The pool water was questionable and there was a broken.missing cover on the floor that someone could easily step in and injure themselves, a member of our group placed a chair over the hole to avoid injury. Another member of our group checked into his 1 bdrm suite with his family of 6, the sofa bed was completely useless as it had no mattress on it and the frame was not attached to the sofa, bedding was brought in so that they could sleep on the floor...yuck! They had complained and had received a large discount off their bill on their one night stay. We had also complained and they offered half the amount that the other guest got.......they explained that it was because I stayed two nights....eye roll.....! The complimentary breakfast was very good with many options. Staff was friendly many areas of this hotel need repairs....cleaning needs to be addressed. If they would repaired things they could quit discounting the guest stays.
