Good location of hotel , close to city center .Rooms are satisfactory and clean. Breakfast is ok. Room service cleans the room everyday. Reception is welcoming and responsive to any query. There is some issue withelectronic lock need to spend 5 to 10 mins to open the door.
Not to far from Old Town. Well connected by bus and tram. Buses run 24 hours. Uber service is excellent to go to an from the airport. Breakfast is really good. The surrounding areas is full with restaurants and fruit stands.
Strong maintenance problem with old magnetic strip key system / malfunctions took us 2h to wait for repair guy waiting in front of our locked door (stuff offered free coffee but that's not helping us). Lost 2h from our Prag weekend. Floor door uses same key - need up to 10 attempts to open it. Garagelift same problem. Shower has poor temperatur control (hot and cold water change in seconds / next day after maintainable malfunction shower button) Cheap instant coffee for breakfast Simple breakfast menu - not 4* RoomSafe mechanically unstable keylock (don't rely that it can be reopened properly) No hotel management available. Positiv: Friendly and customer orientated stuff Good public transport connection Own Underground parking Result: 1* for the hotel / 0* for the hotel management / 4* for the stuff that try to rescue the downfall.
The hotel has really good location. It takes just 8-10 minutes from Florence Bus Station by bus (133 or 207) and Cernivova is near hotel. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was very tasty. Our room was on the street side and it was too noisy at night.
This hotel is the worst hotel in prague bad place, bad reception, bad food, when you order coffee at 6pm there answer the coffee machine is swiched off and you you must help your self, bad rooms no shampoo in the bath, and finaly not freindly stuff at all. Would rate this hotel 0.1 from 100 not recomended at all ( enter at your own risk )
I have previously visited Prague on a number of occasions, the last in 2000. However, the City sorely disappointed me and the Hotel Erlich contributed to my disappointed. The Hotel does have reasonable signage. However, not shown in many photos, it is more visible noting the Erotic sign close to the Hotel entrance. The Reception area is neat and attractive but sadly my visit anticipation ends at the desk. I was greeted, on New Year’s Eve by a lady receptionist that switched between smiles and scowls. Initially she helpfully offered a potted guide to the Hotel and its environs. Arriving in the room, 401, I noted that the carpet was quite grubby. Shortly after, I had to ask for a toilet roll.None provided in this room. Because the Receptionist was on her own she couldn’t offer immediate attention. Not the answer I wished to hear at that moment. I also asked for extra pillows. The toilet roll arrived after 15 – 20 minutes but delivered by a somewhat unhappy and brusque Receptionist . During the next few minutes I was able to observe the cracked tiles in the shower, the broken soap tray in the shower and a very dirty shower door. When our Receptionist arrived with the pillows I pointed out these shortfalls and included my observation about the grubby room carpet. Clearly my brief tour of the bathroom and bedroom distressed the Receptionist who seemed to take the whole issue as a personal affront but promised to raise the issues with the manager. I heard nothing further. Later I observed that the curtains were quite filthy. Bed mattresses are thin but reasonably comfortable. There are sufficient power points and a room safe is included. I have lodged in hotel rooms offering better sound insulation from the corridor but fortunately some rooms on the floor were vacant. TV is disappointing. No English news channel. In this respect my laptop was capable of a measure of Internet Protocol TeleVision so no big deal. But this Hotel is supposed to cater for international travellers!! The only meal available is breakfast. Not a great choice to eat or drink unless you pay extra for a decent espresso based drink. Now the really shabby bit. Chipped plates and cups. Fifty percent of the Buffet Staff produced a smile. My perception was that the rest of the staff resented service. My visit was cheered up by a happy, smiling and helpful Receptionist on duty when we returned on our last night and dealt with our checkout. The only highlight. My perception is of a dirty, poorly maintained and badly managed Hotel with staff suffering poor morale and no pride in offering a service. Although only 15 minutes from the City by bus, the area is dimly lit and dirty. Quite run down. Nevertheless, it appears safe. Regardless, my recommendation is not to stay at this Hotel.
It is a good hotel for the money we paid. Pro: -location: 30 mins walking by the city center -breakfast room very nice -big bathroom and average room, still a pleasent room. - pretty clean -good prices Cons: - staff not friendly - a/c very noisy -the window was broken -average breakfast It is good for this money.
The staff were not exactly friendly, they struggled to smile! The room was relatively clean and basic, it just felt rather seedy! We chose not to eat the breakfast and preferred to walk out, there are not a lot of decent places closeby however and the town centre is a good 20-30 min walk and not well sign posted. If your an a budget its an ok place, personally I would have preferred somewhere closer to the centre and not situated next to a sex shop.
The first impression of the hotel ,when standing on the street is not bad. But when coming inside, you realise the dirty carpets on the floor, which should be the first warning. The real shock comes when you see the corridors and the room inside. Dirt, stains all over the place. The bed is definitely not a hotel bed. It looks to be the cheapest bargain from a sale somewhere in the suburbs of Prague. Thin ,uncomfortable matress, disgustingly dirty as well. Just look at the photos. Stayed just one night. The breakfast was very poor. Definitely not the quality and choice of a four star hotel. The only good thing to say about this hotel is the helpfull receptionist.
This review will probably follow suit with a lot of others - it's a decent priced hotel, room ok but could be better and a decent shower/toilet facilities. Receptionists/ staff are friendly with varying English levels but all in all ok. Location - this is a big one. It's a good 40-45 mins walk down hill getting to the centre but then this is magnified with the hill climb back. You can get a bus into town and back but buying tickets is confusing sometimes and you find locals just hop on and off without paying (our impression anyway). The area is abit run down but nothing too bad and safety didn't seem an issue at all - so ignore the reviews who say this. It's all a bit of a trip away from the airport so take this into consideration In summary, it's a decent hotel but the location let's it down. My advice is to get something closer to Old Town to really enjoy Prague.
