One night stay with two young children. Receptionist extremely friendly, very welcoming. Moved our room so we didn't need to walk far and repark car with our kids. Very nice hotel and room. Clean, modern. Lovely bathroom and kitchenette. Good beds (only disappointment was lumpy pillows and, in my opinion, pillows that were too high for kids). Kids body wash and shampoo plus a lollipop left for us. Had read previous review about closing ceiling blinds so were spared an early morning wake up, otherwise wouldn't have thought of it. When we arrived we were asked if we needed an extra bed for our kids. As we did (and our room had been moved) a call was immediately made to housekeeping. It took a while for them to come, but when they did they were friendly and efficient. I would more explicitly state bedding requirements if booking again. It is in a complex with restaurants and a casino. Parking 40z a day. Would happily stay again and would probably like to stay longer! Can't comment on location for proximity to centre, but a bit of a drive from the motorway... but was worth it!
One of a few good standard, peaceful, quiet, clean and honest hotels. Situated in a residential area with numerous restaurants surrounding the hotel complex. Rooms are large with kitchenette, quiet, and no neighbour noise creep. Staff helpful. Far better than most 5 star hotels who could learn from this one.
I liked it. Rooms are really large, beautifully decorated, breakfast is excellent with a lot of choice, all members of staff are kind and professional. But what makes the stay at this hotel very special is the atmosphere of the place. This hotel is located in some former Polish army barracks buildings exquisitely renovated with modern architectural additions. Rooms are on the first floor of 2 or 3 of the buildings (I was in building 2) while the ground floor hosts luxury shops and restaurants. Result is amazing. I didn’t try the Spa since I was on business with many colleagues. In order to be really helpful, 2 things: - if you arrive on a Sunday after 8pm, reception 2 which is considered by all taxis as the main one is closed, then ask your taxi to drop you at reception 1 (before you cross the fences, next to the breakfast restaurant). - As previously mentioned, all rooms are on 1st floor. If you arrive by night, you will not notice, but ceilings have roof windows. Meaning that in summertime, you will be woken up by a gorgeous flow of day light, at 5am. That happened to me 2 days in a row, until I realized that there is a small knob with arrows next to the head of your bed, which commands shutters and makes that you can finally sleep until normal hours. If any of the 2 recommendations above are helpful to you, please, do not hesitate to press the “like” button below this review. I take this as a reward. Thanks.
Excellent Hotel . Same as it looks on the website Big rooms equipped with all what you need. The most important thing is the staff and especially" Mateus" he is the best Very welcoming, smiling all the time, very helpful, he makes your stay very simple and easy. I really give him all the credits for making the visit a success and definetly if i want to come back to this hotel it is because of him. Best regards,
Stayed here on a lads holiday, Staff were very accommodating. The spa was amazing massage was especially well priced and thorough. The rooms were well equipped although the mattresses were a little soft for my liking. The whisky bar is great but can be very expensive. Great addition is the cigar lounge. Would recommend the on site restaurant and others in the hotel/residence grounds.
The hotel itself is a complex of buildings that serve for various purposes: accomodation, spa, restaurants, small shops etc. Indeed, it is a very interesting architectural design. The facilities were great - the room was very spacious, with extra kitchenette, coffee/tea facilities and bathroom was huge, very bright and clean. Breakfast was rich and very tasty. Hotel's staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to come back.
My room was large, with modern bathroom and kitchen which you wont use as in building complex there are many nice restaurants . the breakfast was delicious and big choice . there is also Parking space if you arrive by car .
This was an overnight stay on a business trip. The facilities looked amazing (didn't have time to use the spa). The hotel is split into 2 so make sure you know which building you need to check into. Breakfast was also served in only 1 of the buildings, which is a little inconvenient in the mornings and you need to factor in the short walk. The room itself was spacious, had a small kitchenette and a bed which was so comfortable I slept like a log. We went out in the evening and didn't have to leave the hotel as there was a restaurant and micro brewery within the same 'complex'. It had a great feel to it and I felt very safe. I would definately love to return for a weekend break to explore more of what poznan has to offer, and I would certainly book to stay in this hotel.
I stayed at City Park hotel in Poznan for three nights this week. I was VERY pleasant my surprised at everything about the hotel complex. The rooms are huge with skylights and large potted plans and offer all convenience and lovely decor and amenities. The reception staff are super helpful and friendly and can't do enough to help make your stay pleasant. The overall set up is interesting. And unusual and has the feel of a residential complex, with a restaurant across the road, and bar and coffee shop on either side of reception. All in all, worth a stay and very fairly priced.
Here they know all about service - from the front desk to the service at the delightful restaurants. At the end of the day, you can relax in the nice spa, where you will find 2 different pools, steambath, sauna and an "icecave". The hotel is placed central to the center of Poznan, just 10 min. away by taxi, on the way there is 2 large shopping centers. If you need a good walk,, you will find a nice park with a large wonderful botanic garden just 5 min. away.
