This was a nice home base for us to explore the central Hudson Valley. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. We were not impressed with the breakfast option and went to a nearby Diner after the first day. The seating area for breakfast was inadequate and the serving space was very crowded. The juice machine wasn't working. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
Staff was very helpful, particularly with adding staying an extra day due to bad weather in upstate New York.

Very adequate for a stopover. Very convenient location for attractions such as FDR museum and Vanderbilt mansion. Numerous restaurants nearby.
The shower and the toilet fittings are very bad and not working. Had to switch rooms. Still there were problems.
Property needs a good cleaning and updating. Mold/mildew in the bathroom. Dirty carpet. Poor breakfast.

The room was tiny with king bed you had to walk sideways by because of the huge TV stand. Even though we had a print out of the email confirmation of our booking, we were told since it was booked through a 3rd party they had no record of the reservation. The person finally relented and said we could have the room for the 2 nights we booked. Husband felt the staff didn’t want to be bothered when asking for fresh wash cloths. Will probably call a hotel directly from now on and use the government rate instead of saving a few $ using a 3rd party booking site.
