An hour before breakfast ended they were out of almost evertpything, the place is about to be torn down and looks it

its a really good place if you just want to sleep have to walk to the main building for ice, there was no breakfast but it was advertised by orbit, where it was booked from. On the main street this was good. Like they say you get what you pay for..

Booked a 3 night stay. When we returned the 3rd evening key card had been cancelled and room had not been cleaned. Desk told us it was their policy NOT to clean room if guest was not present. ABSURD, and no notice of policy. Also Continental breakfast was discontinued on 3rd morning. Not6 enough electrical outlets in room. Desk lamp not plugged in because TV and cable box plugged in. I don't know what new management plans, but it appears they have never run a motel before. Will not return at any price.

The hotel was really bad! The electronic keys did not work, the toilet did not flush and the bathroom floor was not cleaned it was sticky after a shower. The heating system was too hot it did not regulate temperature control and part of the plastic vents on the unit was missing. You could see the units coil without any kind of filter. The bed was fine it was hard but the exposed box spring had some brown stains on it. The exterior door which is on the ground level did not have secondary locks. The cable TV equipment was bolted to the furniture. The TV was outdated and smaller than usual. The office staff programmed the key cards which worked immediately afterwards and the maintenance staff did fix the toilet... somewhat it took a long time to flush. The shower had very good pressure and the coffee was very good. The hotel is outdated and needs lots of work. That is it!

Poughkeepsie was ok to stopover on way down from montreal then spend time in NYC . It is at the end of the metro line so gives good access to the city.

This Motel and yes I said MOTEL was horrible, when you drive to your room door, yes I said drive and enter the horribly stenched room, dirty microwave and fridge, tv from 1990, I barely slept, I had to go by fabreeze to make it through the night..........I will never be back again!

For $126 the Poughkeepsie inn was a joke. The price should have been $69 for the cigarette butt on the bathroom floor and the bad smell and the burn holes on the bedspreads and mic more all in a nonsmoking room!

This was not in any way a three star property. It is old and run down, badly in need of complete renovation. It does not begin to compare to other three star properyies in the immediate area.

This is a '60s-style motor lodge. I booked a room here for the night when visiting my college for alumni weekend. Seemed expensive for what I paid since it's a bit tired looking, but they offer basic amenities like free wi fi, free breakfast in the morning and whatnot so I was satisfied. Staff members were friendly, too.

Booked this hotel for 1 night. Wasn't expecting top of the line for the money but did at the very least expect clean and safe. There was none of either. Pulled up to run down place, homeless and/or drug addicts loitering on property. Room was extremely outdated and smelled so bad I had to leave just to breath. Small box frig provided was filthy. Bathroom quality was below standard as a sink leak was evident from the molded tile stained on the floor. The property looked like something out of a horror movie. The photos provide on line definitely did not meet up to what the rooms actually look and SMELL like.

The rooms smell. First room nasty. Second room, chunks of something hairy from the AC unit. (Which did not have a cover.)Third room was in separate building & was a little better so I stayed there. There was a stain on the sheet on the second bed and stains on the carpet. The hotel is very dated and run down. Not enough plugs for the items in the room let alone a phone charger or PC (no WiFi) You had to unplug a lamp to use the microwave! On the plus side - It was cheap. And it had an awesome shower. Great water pressure and HOT water! But again very dated.

i have pictures to show how nasty this hotel is! Would never recommend this junk to anyone! I felt dirty sleep ok here!

I was looking for a clean convenient hotel for my stay, and that is exactly what I found. The Poughkeepsie Inn is very conveniently located, the room was clean, the staff was friendly, and it was a great value.

Not bad. Not great. Can't complain though. It has convenient outdoor room access right near parking. Its located right near food places, a 24 hr grocery store & gas stations. TV could be bigger with larger channel selection, the beds can DEFINITLY use more pillows, but if your looking for convenience & a quiet stay, this hotel is ideal. Shampoo's not bad either. )

The Hotel was extremely run down. Comforters had cigarette holes in them. Cable box was bolted to the dresser. Environment was not safe. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone,

Room was dirty, bed was uncomfortable.....awful experience

This hotel is a bit old and outdated but it was clean and worked for us at a very good price.

Tis is an old motel, and looks it. The room needed significant updating and some basic repairs. But it was clean, and the plumbing and AC worked. The continental breakfast was a disappointment, even by today's meager standards.

Although we had already paid for the motel we were unable to stay there due to the unacceptable condition of the room. There was a strong stale air and chemical smell aside from the run down appearance of the entire room and furnishings that were an immediate turnoff. We chalked the $126 up as a loss and found another place to sleep that night.
