On arrival there was a large group having trouble checking in. They were asked to step aside so others could check in. Nothing like being locked out late at night. We had two key cards that were turned off at some point. The man at the desk said it happens but couldn’t make eye contact. The place could use a good scrub. The door to our room looked like it had poop smeared on it. Looked like toilet paper wads on the walls in our room. Huge bins of dirty bedding lined the entry to our building. That was probably our last stay at that hotel. We go to the area often but this was a bit much.

We have stayed here many times and were very happy but this stay we noticed it wasn’t as clean as it has been in the past. There was no coffee maker in the room and the decor was very outdated. The semi newly renovated lobby furniture was very dirty and the lawn surrounding the building was overgrown and needed to be mowed. The staff was friendly as usual.

The man that checked me in was very nice and was very helpful. The staff at the restaurant/bar on the lobby of the hotel was on. The waitress was rude and very little effort to serve us, and when I asked questions about the food she was very annoyed with me because she needed to ask the cook about ingredients. (I only asked due to a severe food allergy) I also asked for no onion and was given onion anyway, and the waitress said oh well I said no onion so oh well..

They are letting the property go. Door to outside had gaps, shower head should be replaced, needs new toilet seat, refinish bathroom door. Temp was 57° at arrival. Light by bed did not work.

Close to the amenities, friendly staff

This property has a beautiful view of the river. However, the rooms are very outdated with cracks in the walls and major stains in the carpet. The walls are thin so when our neighbor was on the phone at 10 pm we could hear the entire conversation and she wasn't talking too loud. Staff did accommodate us when we asked to switch rooms due to having our dog and there being an large white stain on blue carpet. Also, the wifi was down and the lobby coffee maker was broken during our stay Overall I would not stay here again.

The room was very clean, although sparsely furnished and decorated. Also the lighting was very poor, and the dark wood furniture made it seem more dark. The hotel has a nice bar and lounges area, but seem to lack the staff needed to run it. Same goes for the grounds, there was a snowplow utility vehicle front of the hotel that wasn't used the whole time I was there, even though we had 5 inches of snow and slush in one day.

Amazing location but rooms need serious updates

Loved the river view. Room and bed was quite comfy. Very pleasant staff. Noticed lack of maid service and lack of upkeep on the property itself.

Due to staff shortage rooms weren’t available when we arrived. Breakfast was too expensive for what they served. Location and beach were great. Room was very nice. Pool was nice. Would stay again.

We loved the easy access to room on first floor. Door to outside made it convenient to get to car. We loved refrigerator and microwave. We loved the deep tub, deeper than normal. We didn’t love that the tub was not clean. So we couldn’t use it. No access to cleaning products to clean it myself. I didn’t bring a blow dryer this time because hotels usually have them. No blow dryer in this room. We thought our deal with Orbitz included breakfast. When we checked in, they said no. But because we had no blow dryer and dirty tub, at check out she gave us two complimentary breakfasts. So that was kind.

The rooms have really aged and worn out since the last time I was there. For $250 I thought I would get a room with a view of the lake.

Room 104 was very shabby, the sheets had holes and tile was crumbling around the toilet. But it was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable, so it was ok overall. Was it worth the price? No, but there's not much else in Post Falls.
