We were just blown away with this BnB, and we are recommending it to everyone! The room was perfect and very comfortable, the breakfast was AMAZING, and we just loved the owners. (If we had more time in Skye, we would have loved to take them to dinner and just chat with them!) When I come back to Scotland, I will for sure be staying here.
I stayed at this very clean and comfortable bed and breakfast in late April. I advised the owners of my arrival time in advance. Despite this, no one was there and there was no was answer on the phone when I called. I finally went to the town and asked for help at a hotel. Thankfully they called someone who knew the owners and they later returned. It had been a super long day of driving as the ferry had been shut down which required me to turn around and drive to the bridge, a 3 hour trip, so I really didn't need this to happen. That said, the owner did apologize for accidentally trashing my message to them. The room was super clean and comfortable. He also provided a big packet of information about the Isle of Skye. The breakfast selection was huge and very well prepared. However, when I wanted to leave, I couldn't get the attention of the owner who was engaged in a conversation with other guests. I made 3 trips out to my car, in direct view of the dining area and repeatedly said well so am leaving but no response. So I just left my cash only accepted payment in my room with the key. So I would not stay here again or recommend as the owner seemed unreliable with his level of attentiveness to service.
