In addition to its many historical attractions, Portoferraio, including the Torre del Martello, Forte Stella and Villa dei Mulini (winter residence of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte), offers some of the most beautiful beaches on the island: from its white gravel coves and unmistakable turquoise waters, to the splendid sandy beaches that with the sirocco seem to transport us to a Caribbean setting. Those arriving by ferry cannot help but fall in love with the dock and the fortresses that overlook it. The heart of the historic center is characterized by its narrow streets, winding alleys and picturesque squares that offer unique views of the sea. The town is dominated by the majestic Forte Falcone and the Fortezza Medicea, imposing buildings that testify to the strategic importance of Portoferraio during the Renaissance. These fortresses were designed to defend the island from pirate raids and foreign powers.

The apartment is located in the historic center of Portoferraio, an ancient city and the capital of the island, which offers walks in settings of historical charm among its mighty walls of the Medici era and retains its Renaissance charm.

We remind you that during the summer the area of ​​the center becomes a pedestrian area, accessible before 7 pm also to vehicles.

Three-room apartment - 4 beds
The apartment is located in the pleasant setting of the historic streets of the center; in a convenient part near the main square. The apartment is inside a building consisting of two units with a convenient access staircase, ours is on the second and last floor. A rustic, bright environment with high ceilings with exposed beams, and consists of two bedrooms, a double bedroom with small TV and access to a small terrace and a double bedroom, kitchen with small TV, living room with single bed and bathroom with shower.

Internal services of the apartment:
- TV; refrigerator with freezer; oven; small terrace; washing machine; pellet stove

Important Notes:
- pellet is at the expense of the customers
- check-in in our offices from 16.00 to 19.30 and check-out by 09.00; for check-in after 20.00 a supplement of € 50.00 must be paid
- small pets allowed with a supplement of € 30
- deposit (mandatory): 150.00 euros; refunded at the end of the stay after having viewed the state of the property (if paid in cash it will not be returned before 15.00)
- bed linen and towels: 20.00 euros per person (to be requested at the time of booking); not bookable on site
- the registration requirement is necessary even if there is no overnight stay but only a short stop (even less than an hour), therefore we inform guests that it is necessary to communicate in advance any guests present in the facility

The information regarding check-in is sent to the customer 48 hours before arrival, for any need you can contact our customer service. For the selected facility, key collection normally takes place at our offices in Portoferraio. Travellers on foot are asked to inform our staff, in order to organize a more convenient key collection.
