We did fine at the Beresford. The staff were cheerful and helpful. The room was fine, nothing fancy. The bathtub/shower were raised sort of strangely. If I were much older I would have felt it unsafe. The common areas were a bit spartan, but fine as well. The area was fine although, being across from the train/bus station it got a little noise at times during the night. We were only a 15-20 minute walk from Trinity College/Temple Bar. The area has plenty of restaurants, mostly of the take-away variety, and a couple of grocery stores. Ryan's Pub on the corner has delicious food.

The hotel is very close to popular areas, but you can always catch a taxi across the street. Robert was THE BEST!!! He was so helpful, funny, witty, and kind. He should be promoted to manager and earn more money. An absolute gem. Thank you!!!

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was a good size, but could use some updates/improvement. The window didn’t seal properly so we had to crank the furnace up to stay warm. We only stayed one night so it was fine.

Was next to bus station so easy access to transportation.

Nice location and excellent staff and great breakfast. Be aware that the building is full of steps even on the same floor. Bed was less than desirable but overall a good experience. Would stay here again.

Good location. Clean and servicable. Sole con - Room temp was quite warm with no air con or ability to open windows beyond a crack- it is only May so not sure if summer temps would be satisfactory. I think the property may have central air which kicks in later in the summer - worth checking, note- this may be an issue in similarly priced hiteks in Europe. Other than room temp caveat, i would stay there again.

Cozy hotel, good value, close to many public transportation options, and walking distance to many local attractions!

Clean simple room. Noise outside as the hotel is close to overhead train line

Aside from a small bit of difficulty finding my way to the hotel from the outbound Airlink Express stop, I had a very fine stay at the Beresford. The staff was friendly and helpful. My room was large, well-maintained, and clean, with a spacious, modern, shower that felt luxurious in comparison with those I associate with moderately priced European hotels. I especially appreciated the elevator, which, although small, was modern, well-maintained, and eliminated the need to navigate several flights of stairs with a large suitcase. The hotel location is excellent, across the street from the main bus terminal and within easy walking distance of the Connelly rail station and the O'Connell Street shopping district. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay and would happily return should my travels bring me back to Dublin.

Older hotel, but very clean and maintained. Great central location. The staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. Overall great experience.

Nice hotel right next to the bus station. About a 10-15 minute walk to most attractions, and a 20-25 minute bus ride to/from the airport. Room was simple but clean. TV was small and signal kept going out, but not a huge deal since we didn’t spend much time in there. Most attractions are on the south side of the river, and this is on the north side, so not a great pick if you want to be in the middle of the sites. However, a good pick if you want a more quiet area that is only a short walk or bus ride to the sites. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel is situated in a fantastic spot in Dublin. Walking distance to many shops, restaurants and bars the Beresford Hotel is a great spot to stay. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. The only reason I can't give the hotel a 5 star is the walls were a tad thin in the Georgian wing. However I do plan on staying here again the next time I take a trip to Dublin.
