In the city center and near a metro station, Sentinel is in an area with good shopping. Pioneer Courthouse Square and Grotto are notable landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Tom McCall Waterfront Park and Portland Japanese Garden. Check out an event or a game at Providence Park, and consider making time for Oregon Zoo, a top attraction not to be missed. Our guests appreciate the hotel's central location.

The hotel is well located, clean and pleasant, but the room needed more lighting, had a view of the wall of next door building, and a little short on soap. It is OK, but not exceptional.
The junior suite was exquisite. We enjoyed the room and had room service which was also great. Valet parking is the only parking option the hotel offers so take into account a $45 per day cost if you have a car and don’t want to park in the public garages a few blacks away. Another sneaky cost is the $24 a day resort cost (I don’t remember the name exactly). We didn’t really make use of any of the offerings offered as they didn’t apply to us (we didn’t come with a dog, we’re not wine drinkers, and we didn’t plan on working out on our two day thanksgiving vacation). TLDR: The hotel is beautiful and we really enjoyed ourselves. Heads up that you may see $70 per day increase to your stay. I recommend taking that into account when planning your stay.
big rooms, very friendly staff, loved the hot apple cider after a cold day!
