This property has been on the decline for a while now. The hotel seems to be near the point of going out of business. Now there is no restaurant or bar, cleaning service only for those staying 4 days or longer etc. This place was once wonderful--no longer.
Charged $120 amenities fee for no amenities. Restaurant closed. No room service. Broken kettle. No microwave. Good location but I’d spend the extra money to stay at the Hilton.
Property suffers from a lack of staff training and is run more like a motel in terms of service

The hotel facilities are great. They hit you with the hidden resort fee, which is annoying. Some of the staff act like they’re from L.A.

The Heathman made a great impression for our first visit to Portland. Its location, walkability to anything we wanted to visit, the happy hour for hotel guests & the friendly staff were terrific. We recommend it highly.
The suite rooms were large, very central location, quiet, new renovations were great, and staff was very helpful. Breakfast room service was pretty bad and wish they had a larger lobby and pool but we would stay here again nonetheless.

Anthony:Thanks for your input. The Heathman is not, in any way close to going out of business. That said we do still have a way to go in recapturing our pre covid levels of service. In the near future we plan on addressing each of your disappointments and hope you will give us another try.
