Ramada Plaza Portland

It's hard to find a low cost motel that isn't completely smelly and run down. I was very satisfied with the conditions at this Ramada. I received immediate, quick, friendly check in service when I arrived. There was parking available right near the entrance. My room was clean and the environment felt safe. The location is right near the highway and there is are two restaurants, one on either side. I was surprised that the breakfast restaurant offered healthy options such as fresh squeezed juice. While this was by no means a fancy, plush hotel, for the price it was a very good option. I have no complaints.

Blankets are thin and scratchy. Room has dirt in The corner. Towels are scratchy also and has black mark on it. Rooms are small. There's long wait at front desk even though there were only one customer ahead. And simply just waiting for forms to be filled out. Couldn't wait to get out of the hotel fast enough.

Rooms were clean enough. Staff allowed us to check out at 2:00 so we could take shower after sea kayaking and heading to airport

No comfort level at all; no microwave; no refrigerator; etc...

Hotel is close to the Portland Mall and downtown Portland. There are two excellent restaurants in the hotel. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful.

A friend and I split a room here the night before we participated in a nearby craft show. The price was right and we were very pleased with the accommodations. I am a bit of a pillow princess, and the ones here were very comfortable. So was the mattress. In the past I have had bad experiences in motels because of my dust mite allergy. These can especially be a problem in bed spreads. But there weren't really bed spreads and the other bedding was very clean. The staff was warm and friendly, too. And despite being in the city, it was very quiet. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Drove up for a weekend business event - room was clean, made up nicely overnight, I thought the waterbottles and the crackers (although we didn't eat them) were a nice touch -- and they were generous with the in-room coffee -- three packets -- this may sound like a little thing but chintzy coffee packets and nickel and diming are really off-putting. Nice to see the old bedspreads are long gone. It was nice to have enough coffee in the hotel room for two in the morning. The only criticism is the decor -- it's clean, well maintained, but very 1980's. But that's a small thing. Room temperature was steady and pleasant.

Awesome staff, super clean drove in on a very rainy day from boston late at night with small children and they were so accommodating and polite. Room was very spacious and clean and I couldn't hear any noise which is not common. My one year old and two year slept like champs! Only wish they had a mini fridge for some milk storage. Next time will ask! Highly recommend.

This hotel is in poor condition in terrible neighborhood. I couldn't wait to leave. I'm really disappointed in orbitz for calling this a 3 star hotel.

Pleasant service and amenities. Not a state of the art luxury facility or anything, just a bare bones basic room. suited my needs perfectly. Little balconette off the room for fresh air was nice!

Nice room. Comfortable beds. Not a very far drive to downtown Portland.

The hotel has been around for quite some time. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors easily. There is a lot of lights in the room at night when you're trying to sleep. It makes it more difficult if you wake on occasion to get back to sleep. The restaurant that is located next to right now The hotel is very good. Help is very friendly, respectable, and pleasant to do business with. I would recommend this to someone I knew for a place to stay but I would tell them what I think the strengths and weaknesses are.

Convenient location. Clean room. Great staff. I would stay here again.

great place to stay for the value. location was prime, easy to get to downtown Portland, and right across the street,, who can complain?

We would have liked two night stands. I made one for my side of the bed with an upside down trash can and ice bucket.

The hotel is fine, but nothing extra special. Its clean and comfortable enough. The room was ok.The bed was fine. If you want to be near Portland, but don't want to pay high prices in the city its a good place. I would recommend it for that reason.

Very satisfactory, recently renovated room. The only negative was the heater which roared off and on all night. My husband had earplugs so he was o. K. But I couldn't sleep.

My only complaint about the room was there was no refrigerator or microwave.

Clean room. Friendly staff. Stayed four nights and missed having a fridge and microwave.
